Scam!! My daughter brought in my Civic for a slow tire leak, she was advised by Tech Stephen Everitt, it needed a new TPMS sensor because it was leaking. Anyone who knows anything about cars should know that TPMS sensors have a rubber grommet around its threaded neck that seals inside the tire rim to prevent air leaks but the service dept. would make very little money on that simple repair and therefore, it’s much easier to BS the customer into paying $190.00 plus tax for an “Aftermarket” sensor that comes with new parts. It seems to be common practice to lie to female customers who don’t know any better. I told her to refuse the repair and bring the car back home and I’ll fix it myself!

Rip off
My wife went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The tires were never rotated, the oil change was standard, and, at 40,000 miles they took advantage of her and supposedly changed her brake fluid. I have never heard of such a thing. I have never owned a vehicle that required changing brake fluid and probably never will. It is a closed hydropic system and should not prefer need changing. The people that make commission on ripping off uneducated people disgusts me. I am sure this review does not make any difference to the greediness of the dealership but it makes a difference to me. BUYER BEWARE !!!!!

Credit Report and Special Programs
Make sure you pull your own credit report on your cell phone to show them rather than having them pull your credit with a hard inquiry. Honda Staff advertises and will speak of all these special programs to help ANYONE. However I was declined after their pervious conversations with me that having fair credit, a low score, or even being a first time buyer would be fine as long as I had a job for quite awhile including a substantial down payment. That they would help me lease or finance a car. Now I have not one inquiry, but 3 inquiries from Honda company(s) on my credit report which does not help. I believe that the staff and their banks who all work together, should improve on better communication as well as living up to what they advertise in helping everyone.

My daughter called their service department to get a quote to mount and balance 4 new tires she purchased and perform a 4 wheel alignment. She received a voicemail from “Gayle” who quoted her $25.00 per tire for mounting and balancing, $8.00 per tire disposal fee and $99.00 for the alignment for a total of $231.00 plus sales tax for a grand total of $245.67. What a RIPOFF! None of the shops she contacted was charging anywhere near $8.00 for disposal. To add insult to injury, “Gayle” said she needed to drop off the car because they had a “Skeleton” crew. My daughter can’t be without a car for a day (or longer) She’s an essential employee. I feel Manchester Honda Service tried to take advantage of her by grossly overcharging for a simple service that doesn’t cost that much anyplace else. And to think she bought the car from there. INSULTING!!

There should be "no charge" for your maintenance checklist
I went for B-1 maintenance and you did an oil change and tire rotation which was fine. The checklist was just a "LOOK-SEE" I'm sure. YOU had the audacity to charge me $173. WHAT A RIP OFF. To add to the travesty, the mechanic Jim DID NOT RESET maintenance code so I returned to the parking lot and went in to get him. When he was in the car he didn't even understand what he had to do. It was a HIT-OR-MISS process. What a joke. My car had 8600 miles when all this happened. The checklist items that should be done without charge: inspect brakes.....inspect tierods, gear box/boots....suspension. Exhaust and fuel lines isn't necessary. Actually, the whole list is probably an unnecessary "look-see" and a joke at this point. Oh, and I finally got the "FREE" car wash. You wont see me again any time soon. And I'm informing lots of my friends of your extremely high price for just looking at stuff.

service and repair
We have owned my daughters 10 year old car since it was new. We took it to this dealership instead of Napleton in St Peters for an alternator issue prior to taking it on a long trip. I was told it was dangerous to take it without replacing all 4 brakes immediately. With my daughter standing there panicking as he had her believing the car was unsafe. Because the brakes are through dobbs we took the car there next. The front brakes have another 30,000 miles on them which for my daughter is a years worth of driving. We replaced the back ones. I did not appreciate being strong armed on replacing the front ones.

Appointments not honored
My wife took her 2017 CRV for a recall and oil change. The appointment was @ 9am and she advised that she needed the vehicle y 3 PM. Received a call at 2:35 PM that the service tech was just picking up the call. Was advise that it should be completed y closing. Why have an appointment if it will not be honored? They dont hesitate to sell you vehicles, service them poorly.
