The wife and I stopped by Harte Infiniti in Hartford one early Saturday afternoon to look at a 2015 QX60 in their inventory. We were met by Hasham Chaudhry... who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Once the wife and I decided the vehicle was something we were very interested in, the sales team wanted to rush and seal the deal that day. I told them let's wait, get it in good order and cleaned and we can close the deal during the week. But oh no, let's do this now, staff is on hand ready to please. So we waited over 5 hours for Service to get everything ready as it was being sold as Certified Pre-Owned and over to the detail department. By the time we left, it was dark and I didn't get a chance to check under the hood to make certain everything was good. The next day I popped the hood to find the oil overfilled, the coolant reservoir bone dry, the electric power steering fluid reservoir bone dry, both air and cabin filters completely covered in filth and corrosion on the battery cables. Looking over the CPO checklist, these things were marked off as reviewed and in good order. I was surprised because the vehicle had less than 15,000 miles! It appears they completely skirted, or rushed the inspection to get us out the door that Saturday. The next Saturday I brought it in to have all the items addressed by the service department. When I re-checked the fluid levels, I found the electric power steering fluid overfilled. I asked the Service Manager about the level and said he'd have the lead technician look at it. The lead tech glanced at it and said "yeah, it's fine." I promptly went home and removed the overfilled fluid to the correct level. So I have zero confidence in their service department. Too bad my experience went downhill because the sales folks were very friendly and accommodating. The final insult to injury is they only give you a half tank of gas for a CPO purchase. Pretty surprising for a premium brand with a loftier CPO price.
Per their listing, “AT HARTE INFINITI, WE WILL MAKE YOUR DEAL FOR YOU !! ” We are looking for a QX60 and has found a great deal at another dealership... but decided to stop by Harte since they had a few and advertised as above. Two of the cars on the “Service loaner selldown event” had conveniently been sent to another location and their price had gone up several thousand dollars. Despite them still being listed on the website, I was told they would not honor the price (two days later and the false price is STILL posted.) I was also told that they do not negotiate AT ALL on their prices for used cars, despite them claiming “AT HARTE INFINITI, WE WILL MAKE YOUR DEAL FOR YOU !! ” right in the description of the vehicle I was looking at. I found the same vehicle with half the miles (25k less) for a lower price so I will take my business elsewhere. Go to Harte if you want to waste your time.
Brought my Q50 in for a noise. They diagnosed a rear shock. These unethical employees tried to change me $750.00 in labor to replace a shock. I tried to... contact Harte for ten days and nobody would return my calls or emails. Finally went to Infiniti Consumer Affaires and they refunded a measly $300. This is a terrible place to bring your car unless it’s a warranty issue.
car in for service not only misdiagnosed and trying to sell me a used transmission with 120000 miles for 3000 when it was not the problem service manager... never returned my call .and they charged me 500 for nothing terrible management .I have had purchased 4 new cars thru the hart group never will by another

I’ve been going to Harte Infiniti for the past 2 years to have my car serviced. I have no complaints whatsoever. Everyone there is always friendly... and helpful. I’m always satisfied with the service they provide. I love the fact that there are coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sodas, snacks, and donuts available for me to enjoy while I’m there waiting. The last time I went, they even had free freshly made pizzas. That was incredible!

So I received a decent trade off for my truck and was pressured to make a deal on a new used vehicle. I wanted to think it over for a day/two and when... I made a counter offer on the vehicle I was going to purchase the following day the sale associate and manger said the deal and vehicle was not for me. A few days later I said I was interested and the sales associate and manager said my previous trade offer was no longer valid an no longer want to make a sale with me.
