Great SErvice

Recently brought in my 2021 Altima AWD for its scheduled service. I have been bringing my Nissan Altimas here for many years, and have never had an issue with George Harte West Haven. I have always found their service department staff to be friendly and accommodating. All around great customer service. Would highly recommend this dealership.

Bought a certified used car and was told if one tire was bad they would replace all four.The sales manager Jay will say anything for a sale and apparently the above bosses will back him.They put newer ones from another car but not brand new.They told me they wanted me to be happy because they are a family business but did absolutely nothing: . .Buyer beware not a dealership of their word. Bad Business Practice. All I asked was to keep your word . Oh ya a sent the recorded msg saying what I was told . But the cost of tires is worth the loss of a customer.I guess once they get the sale they move on, your not important anymore.

Everyone I know around town recommended this place to me. I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. While the staff is exceptionally nice and attentive, the used vehicle I purchased from them was the opposite. I test drove it in the cold so when I tested the AC out, it appeared to work. Spent $1,000 on an entire new AC unit, the tires were rotting from the inside which I was unaware of when I drove the car off the lot…new tires around $800. A horrendous squealing noise started about the first 2 months of purchase. They told me my warranty was only 30 days worth and I had to pay full price for any work. Well after they told me the routers and brakes were cheap and not the correct kind for the car I had to fork out another $800 ($400/each router-new break). When I drove this car off the lot George Hart Nissan made it appear like an awesome deal. This vehicle has cost me nothing but money since I bought it. I am extremely disappointed and I hope no one else experiences the same as I did.

Attempted to buy a newly arrived Nissan Leaf today. Made...

Attempted to buy a newly arrived Nissan Leaf today. Made an appointment and drove 45 miles to the dealership. I had documentation on MSRP before I went and had provided the salesman - in advance - with a copy. When my wife and I arrived the salesman said "Oh, there's been a price adjustment on the car". The dealership had tacked on $5,000. We walked without a test drive. We had a similar experience with Harte Nissan in West Hartford when purchasing a Nissan Quest 25 years ago. Apparently skunks don't change their stripes.

I took my car in for a recall and service advisor Mark Santiago was very professional and courteous. When you bring you car in for service ask for him.

I love my car! Matt was and still is helpful, respectful and understanding during the whole car process! He is definitely someone I would buy a car from again and I just enjoyed the process of buying my first car.

Shout out to John Hosking in sales who was nothing but polite, respectable and patient with me, no pushing. Informed me of all the buttons and gadgets on the car. He said if I had a question I could always stop by or call he would be more than glad to help. Sending more people your way John. Shout out to Mike in Finance very patient with me. Willing to work with me to get the right payment. I am enjoying my 2017 Nissan Rogue. Thanks to Jay and John H. who gave a friend of mine 100.00 just for comming with me and encouraging me, giving me the assurance that the car was good.
