    DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. I bought a car over two weeks ago from them and they still have not paid off my trade in as agreed. The bank called... me today asking for payment and are even assessing late fees! All they care about is the sale.     Absolute worse experience... I've had three Nissans and have never had such an issue with a dealership. The second I signed the papers to the car, the... dealership couldn't care less about me and they made that clear. I tried to call multiple times and just kept getting redirected to voicemails of people who never even bothered to call me back. I stayed calm and understanding during this because they were busy but this was unbelievable including they sent me home with dealer plates without even explaining why. When I finally got a call back, I made an appointment with my sales man, Eddy. I drove a whole hour to this appointment where I was stood up. The sales guy never called me to tell me he was not able to come in that day. At this point, the sales manager said he would take over. There were 4 issues; they owed me a check that I should have walked out with when I got the car, I was sent home with dealer plates, I was supposed to get a second key, and I only received ONE floor mat. I called for about three weeks until I finally got ahold of the general manager and the supposed owner. After explaining all I went through and how miserable this whole process has been he apologized and said he would make sure everything gets handled. He admitted that the finance department forgot to mail the check and that the check was sitting there the whole time. He then said he would send somebody to my house to get me the other key however he never showed up and I am still without a key. They did actually give me new floor mats but the kicker is, they gave me ones that don't go to/fit my car. This all started towards the end of May and at this point I am done trying with them. I learned my lesson though and will stick with the Hartford or Torrington Nissan.

    Eddy, our Sales Rep, and the team at Nissan Middletown did a great job helping with our car buying needs. WE purchased a 2019 Sentra and Leased another... 2019 Sentra. They provided very good value for our trade-ins, and the incentives really helped make the price out the door a very good value.

    I wish I would of read the reviews before I went because I wasted 2 hours today. Advertised price online was jacked up when I got there. A lot of added... fees and the highest doc fee 700 i've ever seen. They added 1300 dollar recondition fee to the advertised price plus inflated tax fees and one legit made up tax fee500 aside from sales tax. While I was there owner pulled up in a 300k ferrari. Sales guy said that's the owner. I feel bad for people who buy cars there cause they add all these fees and if you don't know any better they got you.

    COMPLETELY agree with 'Joe schmo' 0ver $1400.00 fee on top of purchase price to high for dealers fee just put the price on the car don't deceive the customers... their not as dumb as you think I searched high and low for a used car and noticed that Middletown Nissan and Manchester Nissan had the absolute best deals....now I know why - PRICE DECEPTION. Who comes in to pay about $14,000 for a car and they want $20K???? You've got to be kidding me....just add it to the overall car price. It's not a better price if you add it in as an additional fee - like the Certified Pre-Owned. That should be built in already. Just be upfront, and don't waste my time!!!

    If yelp would allow me to give zero stars I would. Two years ago I was in the market for my first vehicle and I wanted a Jeep Wrangler. Being 22 and never... having a car before I was convinced by my mother and a family friend who worked there to go down and see what they had- and they had a Jeep Liberty in their used car lot I was interested in. I went and was pushed and persuaded by two sales people and my own member into something I did NOT want and was NOT happy with to the point where I was so stressed out over car shopping that I cried while signing the papers. After repeatedly telling them I did not want this car and telling them what I wanted and payments I was comfortable with I was pushed and pressured to buy a 2018 Nissan Rogue. Two years later, the car depreciated over half its value and is JUNK. It’s not worth a single thing and I cannot trade it in for any other car because of the negative equity. Now- I should have spoken up more and the whole buyers beware BUT as a nervous 22 year old- I felt I was seriously mislead and taken advantage of. Working in a sales position myself- I would NEVER want any customer or potential customer of mine to feel this way. Not only did I not want the car but I was told if I chose their maintenance plan I would have EVERYTHING covered including scratched fixed or a misaligned bumper. Well, boy, was that NOT the truth. I had a bumper misaligned and break one little plastic clip and they tried telling me it was going to be $2,500 for something so minuscule. I was assured I was being taken care of and I just feel taken advantage of and now am stuck with a car I HATE. I would not and will not give them ANY more of my business. I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

    a week ago I bought a 2018 Nissan Maxima from here on March 3rd. I was familiar with this location because I bought a 1996 maxima from here in 1999. I... have always had Nissan vehicles. I have dealt with other Nissan dealerships as well. That's why I can say my experience with Middletown Nissan was not the greatest. The salesperson I had was named Dale and he was very patient and helpful and if there was a question we asked him about the car that he did not know he did not pretend to know but would get the information for us. Once I made up my mind to get the 2018 Nissan Maxima this is where I had issues. First, I am not buying a $500 vehicle., I am buying a 2018 vehicle that cost over $20,000 so why is it when my car is supposedly all set for me to take home I get in and there's a quarter tank of gas. I ask Dale "they don't give a full tank of gas"? He said it's only for new car purchases Really?? I have never purchased a vehicle from a dealership and not left the lot with a full tank of gas He does however buy me gas from up the road that I believe he may have used his own money to do so.(much appreciated) They also detailed my car and it was done so poorly. I had white wax all over the car......my car is black. Then I notice I am given 2 keys but ONE key fob. Again I inquire as to why this is because I have always been given 2 keys 2 key fobs. Dale tells me it's only one but for $450 they can program another one for me. Again, Really? I understand that these key fobs can now start your vehicle but that shouldn't change the fact that ALL dealers will give you two sets of keys and key fobs. The car is 2 years old I know THEY didn't get one key fob, and even if you did all you have to do is program another one. I have never dealt with a dealership like this EVER! I also had no floor mats in the car and you guessed it ANOTHER offer for me to pay!! I have a friend who bought the 2017 Maxima from another dealership and everything I just said was just part of the sale. So apparently if they can't hustle you on the price of the car they hustle you for all the things that come inside the car that you would normally have gotten with the vehicle. Lastly I had to bring the car back for them to fix the side strip molding on both sides. The first time the repair person broke one of the strip's trying to put it back on so I had to schedule a follow-up appointment and bring it back. The second time the strip was put on and it still wasn't correct so I called to have it done a third time. The third time they said I would need to leave my vehicle there for 48 hours for the strip to dry properly and they gave me a loaner vehicle. This was when Covid19 was just starting to peek and I was given a filthy dirty car covered in dust on the inside that I had to wipe down myself just to be able to drive in it. To say customer service is poor at this dealership is an understatement. The next Nissan I get will DEFINITELY not be from Middletown Nissan.

    Drove 2.5 hrs to get discriminated against and drove another 2.5 home. Wasted my time. Knew I needed a truck for towing went there with an appointment... the guy couldn't find the truck, didn't know anything about the truck once found , had to look it up on the phone. And there was no tow hitch?? Before the test drive there was small talk about the pandemic where I had said I had it with the other 1.5 million almost 2 months ago now and didn't recommend getting it. Upon returning from our test drive I decided to buy it unfortunately I was kicked out immediately upon returning to the dealership to drive 2.5 hours home. I was humiliated . I would never put other people in harm's way.it is April 28th I had it March 7th. However my explanation was not heard by the manager I was expelled from the property.
