When my jeep decided to stop being awesome and have engine issues, I took it in to Executive Dodge Jeep and ended up trading it in for a used vehicle.
Nick was the sales rep who communicated with me initially after a brief visit to the lot. It was not a fun decision to make trading in my jeep but it was fiscally what made sense. Nick was never pushy and was understanding about the situation and decision I had in front of me. He gave us the best options for trade and the financing department was incredibly helpful. Nick and his team expedited the process quickly and seamlessly in what I had wrongly predicted would "take forever". I would return to this dealership again because as a salesman, Nick make us feel like he was just pushing a trade or a sale, rather, felt like a friend that was just giving advice and guidance that was best for me in an unfavorable situation. There was no negotiation on price but the trade was already significantly lower than other competitors so that wasn't an issue. If I have any criticism it's that this form doesn't allow me to separate my paragraphs so it appears as though I have no idea how to structure a proper review. This isn't Nick's fault though, it's cars.com. Four stars for Nick and his Executive Jeep Dodge team in Wallingford.

My husband and I have always been impressed with the sales department at Executive, but their service department was another story. That changed when
they brought John in as their service manager. We had an ongoing transmission issue that was covered under warranty and although the repairs took weeks at a time, once John became involved everything went smoothly and I was updated regularly. Prior to John's arrival as the service manager, I would have to call multiple times a week to follow up about when my vehicle would be ready with no call backs for days at a time. John understood my frustration and personally followed up with me or had one of the service reps follow up if he was unavailable. We received our vehicle back and John called after a week or so to check in and see how everything was going, I truly appreciated him taking the time to follow up after the fact. When we purchased another vehicle from them in the fall of 2016, Jim in the service department walked me through the items that we would need to setup with service so that we would not forget. He was always polite and attentive, he is the staff member I prefer working with because of his willingness to spend extra time with me to explain anything I might have questions on. Most recently I had to bring my vehicle in for a 90.000 mile service which was extensive but should only have taken one day. During this service they uncovered another issue that was unexpected and Jim called me right away to go over everything. He explained that the item that needed the repair was covered under my warranty, however, they didn't have the parts in stock and would it be okay for them to keep the vehicle until the part came in. We were expecting a storm so Jim warned me that this might delay them getting the part but that he would check in with me regardless, and he did just that. He called to let me know that the part hadn't come in so it would be delayed another day and followed up with me the next day to let me know the part came in and the repair had been made. Jim is an asset to the service team and while getting work done on a vehicle is never a fun task, he makes the process much less stressful. He is knowledgeable, helpful, and very polite every time I speak with him. We appreciate him following up with us when needed rather than us having to call and chase down answers.
