Brought a 2013 Q50 for service for lack of heat in the winter. NOT only could they not diagnose it, but made it into and event about the cars maintenance history (not at the dealership), and a false carfax report. Didn't preform the work they claimed to have done, and attacked my wife and me about it. This was my third infinity, and NEVER before at anothe dealership had I been treated so bad!!!!
Mr. and Mrs. Silverman, As we have explained, due to the many potential reasons why the heat may be intermittently inoperable, and due to the fact that much of the service history has not been completed by our dealership, we need to take time to properly diagnose the concern. Unfortunately, since your vehicle has 120k miles on it and is out of warranty, a complimentary repair is not an available option. With regards to the Carfax history report, we do not control what Carfax adds to their history reports and while we are sorry that your vehicle is reported as having multiple accidents, it is not anything that we can change. We hope that Carfax is able to assist you in determining the cause of what you feel is faulty reporting on their end. We remain more than happy to help you get to the root cause of your heat concern. Please let us know if you want to move forward with additional diagnostics.
Great company and dealership, I always purchase my vehicles from Harte, they have great customer service and meet all your needs seamlessly. Highly recommend this dealership
Was on INFINITI's certified preowned site and ran across a car that was what i wanted. I submitted a inquiry and one of the salesmen (Stephen) reached out to me. I met with him on a Tuesday. Test drove the car and the car was as described. I wanted to perform an underbody due to concerns of corrosion with it being in a state that has snow frequently. It was almost 8pm at this point and service area was closed. After going back and forth on my trade in, I decided to pay off the remainder of my trade in's loan and sell it on my own. They had some confusion of how taxes and registration would be for me being active duty military and registering in Virginia. We agreed to finish the final inspection and resolve the question about taxes/registration the next day. I signed buyers agreement with price pending final inspection and put a deposit on the car. Wednesday i inspected the underbody and discussed the final cost with Stephen. I was upfront that was going with my own bank and already arranged. He said that because it cost them money to certify, that the recuperate the cost when people finance through INFINITI financial AND THAT IT IS ONLY CERTIFIED IF I WENT WITH THEIR FINANCING. I told him that it's on INFINITIs, Carfax, Cars.com, and their website as certified. I told him it was a deal breaker. Used car manager, Tony, came in talked with me for a bit about off topic things, and at the end asked if it was a deal breaker. I told him it was. He said were good at that price with warranty. Salesman (Stephen) came back in after asking about what Tony said as if he didnt already know. Stephen asked because it was already 8pm at this point, that we wait to finalize the paperwork to prevent the staff from staying late to process my paperwork. I still had to drive an hour back home and was already bought into another trip out there to pick up my existing car that i drove out there so i agreed. We decided to meet back up on Friday because Thursday was his day off and i had duty the next day. When i messaged the salesman that i was heading that way, he said they sold the car on Thursday. I called to talk to the GM, Igor, but was told he was busy and would give me a call back... that never happened. So the next day i called and spoke with Tony (the used car manager that i met the first night). He said sorry and that he wanted to know what would fix it. I said find a comparable car that certified pre owned and same options. He said it would be a couple days to locate and he would get back to me. Never heard back from him. The dealer has many of the same car with the SAME options. A week after they sold MY car, i have yet to receive my deposit back. The salesman said to text him my credit card info. I didnt feel comfortable doing that so it required another hour trip back to the dealer get a refund. When i arrived i asked for the GM, Igor. The receptionist said she will be right back with him. Another salesman greeted me and said that Igor just stepped out with the GSM Leland and that Tony was off (So NO managers were there). I gave them plenty of time to make things right but i guess my sale wasn't worth the effort. I have purchased multiple Nissans and INFINITIs over the years including an Altima, 2 GT-Rs, G37 and Q60s and have NEVER had such a disdain from a dealership like this. STAY AWAY!
My experience buying a car from George Harte Infiniti in Wallingford was nothing short of exceptional. Hiram Garcia was an absolute pleasure to work with. When I first called to inquire about a vehicle, he gave me his personal cell phone number and always responded to any questions I had, even on weekends and after hours. I would highly recommend speaking with Hiram if you're interested in purchasing an Infiniti. My overall experience, from working with Hiram to the Business Manger, was a pleasure
Execellent Sales Assistance
I spoke with Hiram Enrique Garcia JR. at Harte Infiniti in Wallingford who was great to work with and very knowledgeable! I tried Hartford but didn't get very useful info. Hiram in the Wallingford dealership was excellent! Thank you.
What went wrong
Made offer on car, never heard anything, Manager was supposed to call. 3 days no call I'm on to the next Infiniti dealer. Guess they have too much business.
Last summer I brought my car into the North Haven shop to have an extra key made for my "G" series. On way home I got a check engine light. Turns out they also downloaded old software into the ECM (engine control module) throwing the check engine light for both MAF sensors. Known issue however of incorrect software by Infiniti but apparently North Haven dealership replaced my current updated software with the old software, was nothing short of sabotage as far as I'm concerned. I do not recommend the North Haven Dealership EVER!!!! Had a different dealer fix my car and re-flash the ECM.
Hello J Scott, We apologize if you were unsatisfied with your visit, but we would like to assure you that old software wasn't downloaded to your car. This is actually a physical impossibility as once an update is available, it replaces the old and if there is no update available, the download request button is inaccessible. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to give us a call at our service department at your convenience. Thank you for being a customer of ours, and take good care.
I'm not happy
I'm not happy with the service department, but I appreciate that Victor was patient and accommodating. I have brought my car in twice for a problem that started after a routine maintenance appointment. Apparently, diagnosing a problem costs $180.00, but I refused to pay it. Victor waived the fee and took the brunt of my displeasure, but remained pleasant and professional. I still think the maintenance caused a problem with my car and I will bring it elsewhere the next time the problem occurs, but that is not for lack of customer service.
Stephen made my 3rd Infiniti lease easier than the others. Stephen was extremely easy to talk to over the phone I felt comfortable right away. I knew then that's who I'd be buying my next car from. Thank you Stephen and the Harte team. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.
Excellent customer service
They get you into a car, they stick to their word. Excellent customer service. They make you feel comfortable and they make buying a car a smooth process. They go above and beyond!
