Prestige Toyota mechanic suggested a wheel alignment at a...
Prestige Toyota mechanic suggested a wheel alignment at a cost of $179.95+, which my vehicle did not show any signs of needing (no pulling or drifting), so I declined the repair. Private mechanic inspection - NO WHEEL ALIGNMENT necessary, all was fine as presumed. In addition, an oil drain plug shield was noted as missing on their multiple page report, but was never verbally mentioned by any representative and was never offered to be replaced?!!!

I do not believe that there is anything further to discuss. I am just happy that I did not pay $179.95 plus tax for a wheel alignment that was not needed! And if you did not make me verbally aware of the 'missing oil drain plug shield' (other than stating it in the written report) so that it could have been repaired that day or at least offered to be repaired during my visit that day, I don't believe there is anything further to discuss regarding that issue either.

After visiting the East Coast Toyota in Rutherford,...
After visiting the East Coast Toyota in Rutherford, Prestige was a breath of relief. East Coast told me my brakes were fine just a bit rusted and I needed to drive it more. When I called the next day to tell them there was still an issue, the guys told me my rotor were "jacked up" and I needed new ones at $100 each plus labor. Pete at Prestige said the rotors were divited possibly from road salt and they replaced them under warranty since the car is a 2019 with only 12,000 miles. I would definitely recommend this Toyota branch and will visit it if ever in NJ and need again. Thank you Pete!
