Terrible customer service

Leased a 2020 Hyundai in New York then I moved to New Jersey. Came here to get the free oil change, etc. that was part of the lease package and they didn't want to do it. Told me to go back to where I got the car. Seriously, you want me to drive over 4 hours each direction for an oil change? Why doesn't Hyundai take better care of their customers? Turning the car in. No more Hyundai for me!

I'd like to look into this for you. Hyundai complimentary maintenance has specific parameters that need to be followed. For example, miles and time, which I would assume you're under if it's leased. If they were free oil changes given by that dealership than those would need to be done at the dealership who gave you those for free. Please email us at infocircleauto@gmail.com with your vin number and any other details you can give.

Don't buy a used car from here!

They sold me a used 2017 Chevy Colorado that they said they had run through their shop and all was good. Did a test drive around the neighborhood and a visual inspection, everything seemed fine and decided to purchase. No more than 20 miles later on the drive home on the highway I felt the transmission slipping and I could smell oil burning. Dealership was close by then so I had to limp 100 miles + home to CT. It ended up that the transmission needed to be replaced and a it needed a valve cover gasket. Called them up and they said literally "Sorry, you bought it as is" and washed their hands of it. What a bunch of unprofessionals. Would caution anyone about going to these people

Hi Dan, We don't advertise or sell cars that can't be driven off the lot. I'd be happy to research this for you. What vehicle are you referring to? You can email us at info@circleauto.com. If we don't hear from you I'll assume this is a false claim.

Do not go here!

Pretty disappointed with the car buying experience here. Let me start by saying that if you don't already know this, Hyundai and Kia were notorious for so long about the sleezy and painful process of buying a car through their dealerships. But I've read a lot in the past few years that they are trying to clean that up. I bought a Kia Telluride in 2021 from a different dealership and was overall satisfied with the experience. My experience with Circle Hyundai was disappointing on a few different fronts. My salesman was Craig, and I don't really have any gripes about him - he is doing a job. He was nice and helpful enough. First, they are charging 4k over MSRP for Palisades. They will tell you it's only 2k, but they are adding running boards to all of them and charging another 2k which is preposterous. Second, the best rate of financing they offer is 6 percent on a new car. Now, they will tell you that they just follow Hyundai Financing and that they don't make the rules... fair enough as it relates to a dealership gripe. But their fees are ridiculous. Hundreds of dollars in "doc fees" and 600 registration fee. At the end of the day, they let me walk over a difference of 30/month, which they easily could have made up by waiving their extra 2k over msrp. This was after I agreed to put more money down than I wanted, and were going to basically let them rob me on my trade. Didn't even let the manager or owner know and wasted 3.5 hours of my time. Yes, wasted, because I told the salesman the rate and monthly payment I wanted over 72 months, and he said "don't worry they will make it happen" -- to only be told by the "finance" guy that "if I knew that was your number I would have never tried to run the deal". My advice to people reading this - find a dealer that values customer loyalty and isn't taking advantage of a fluid market by price-gouging. There are plenty out there, you just have to look a little outside the area. I would not return to this dealership nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Worse than the Russian mob

Absolutely abysmal customer service. This place refuses to disclose interest rates, does not honor pricing from their own website, modifies and distorts Hyundai’s programs, and will twist your arm and promise you the moon to get you in the dealership, where they will try to annoy and irritate you to the point that you’re willing to get screwed over. They also charge $1999 for $40 worth of pinstripe stickers and a $30 door guard kit. If you don’t want this garbage, they’ll still charge you an extra $1999 for installing your NOTHING. Run away!

Excellent at Every Level

I’ve bought 3 Sonatas at Circle from Kevin Gleason. My experience was always very satisfying at every level. I appreciated the extra effort by Kevin and Roger in the Financing Department as well as the fine work in the Service Department with Mark Z. I’m quite sure will be another Hyundai at Circle.

ATROCIOUS!! That about sums up my experience!!

ATROCIOUS!! That about sums up my experience at Circle Hyundai in one word! If I could give less than a one star rating, I would. I've never dealt with a Sales Manager like Vincent Lorenzo, that essentially leads on a potential customer from online to in-person, with nothing but sales price lies and mischievious tactics explaining his pricing for a potential new vehicle purchase/trade-in. From a large ad with small fine-print online advertisement to get you in the door; to car sales price adjustments that don't match car window stickers or online deals or MSRP prices, that Is not how an "honest" dealership should operate. If can give advice to anyone, please do yourself a favor and LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR NEXT VEHICLE!
