Reviews
Write a reviewThe work was fine but the dealers/services business practices are purposely deceptive and they will scam you out of money. We bought a brand new car in 2025 from them. We were given the impression if we didn’t bring it in for regular service our warranty would be voided but that we would be covered for oil changes/ servicing the car. Fast forward to today at our 15k mile visit and I walk away with a $300 bill. Not that the mechanics didn’t do a great job but we weren’t told that while the oil change is free we would have to pay for the inspection. So essentially to keep our warranty we have to pay $300 every 5k miles. So we’re paying them for our warranty? Pretty messed up. Mind you this car doesn’t need an inspection and was just inspected in February for our annual inspection in Philly by our mechanic— who we love and would rather give business to. And the kicker is that this regular service doesn’t actually impact the warranty. When I asked the guy at customer service about it he let me know that our dealer warranty would be null but not the manufacturers if we don’t keep paying the $300 every 5k miles to tell us our car is fine. This also wasn’t made clear to us. Basically we could have paid for an oil change and saved us the trouble of going to the dealer. Completely deceptive and completely immoral.

Called to negotiate an out the door price for a new car and was quoted MSRP plus fees. Not willing to concede at all in the price so I moved on to another dealer.

Mazda 3 purchase came with lifetime oil changes. They make it hard to get appointments then try to upsell a new battery then was already purchased prior to this derby center. When question the service technician got annoyed. Was told all work was performed within two day low air pressure light came on (Just needed air.)Then the washer fluid all of a sudden has a leak that I think was caused by maple shade Mazda in retaliation for calling then out for upselling services I will never purchase or go back for service free or not from this car dealership.

First time Mazda owner and so far I'm sold. Dropped my car off this morning for a complimentary oil change. I was promptly met by three of the nicest people I have met all day. Melissa, Juanita and Sandy.....you guys' ROCK! These ladies were very professional, but it was more than that. They welcomed me and took the time to explain everything to a T. I see why you three are the faces of the Service Department. I appreciate you very much. It sounds crazy, but you made my day. Thank You, P Wilson

First of all, this dealership has about 10% of the inventory all the other ones on the same block do, so I would go to them instead. Also, they have multiple locations but only post their cars under one location, so don’t expect it to be easy to figure out where the car is. I scheduled time with a sales rep for 11am. Drove 1.5 hours (75 miles) through Philly just to have them sell the car from out from under me 20 minutes before I got there. They schedule multiple people at the same time, so as long as one person buys, and they make their commission, everyone else trying to visit can pound dirt once they get there. Please go somewhere else, there’s a reason their reviews are so bad.

UNACCEPTABLE AND SHADY. My Mazda 6 Signature was due for a 60,000 mile service. These guys will 100% completely ignore the Mazda service manual which calls for spark plugs to be replaced on the 2.5 Turbo every 40,000 miles. Instead, they give you THEIR preventive maintenance schedule showing '2016 and newer turbo vehicles require addition of spark plug replacement at 30,000 miles'. No it doesn't. I was clear when I booked the service that I don't need spark plugs as I had them done at 40,000 miles. I just want what Mazda's service manual calls for. They won't unbundle their service schedule and insist on a $520 60K service loaded with stuff I don't need, and spark plugs I don't need for another 20,000 miles. They only care about padding their pocket with unnecessary service items. Love the car, but Mazda you are off the list when my wife's Pathfinder gets replaced next year. These guys prey on uneducated consumers.

The parts/service department are absolutely clueless. Eric Verderame was curt, rude, and nearly offensive in his behavior and mannerisms with customers.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. Sales is pushy and service is terrible. Enjoyed the car but needs a new engine at year 5. No way. Service does not honor their warranty. We will be getting an attorney. Do not shop here. Go to Honda or Toyota or even KIA.

I took my vehicle to the Mazda of Maple Shade on 1/11/2023. I have been having issues with my car alarm going off all hours of the day and at night and was at a loss as to why issue was occurring. When I came to pick up my car later that day, I was greeted by Eric Verderame who told me that nothing was wrong with my vehicle and that he had “checked everything”prior. Eric did not offer me a solution to my issue, however, stated that “squirrels were setting the alarm off” and “someone was trying to break into my vehicle”. Eric’s professionalism was very rude and inconsiderate and I told him I would never bring my vehicle back again. Eric responded to “never come back here again”. I highly do not recommend Mazda of Maple Shade. Take your business elsewhere!

Negotiated for an hour: bottom line, did not have cars for display or purchase. Waste of time.
