Ketan Patel was the salesman who helped us in selecting

Ketan Patel was the salesman who helped us in selecting our Honda Accord that we ended up purchasing. He worked with us and was not aggressive. He was very patient in allowing us to make our own decision. His behavior/attitude had a lot to do with our decision to buy a car from Open Road Honda—Edison. He remained with us throughout the entire process. If you are in the market for a Honda, please go to Open Road and ask for Ketan. I have no doubt you will be as pleased with his service as we were. Thank you Ketan. We love our car!

I’ve bought two Hondas (new) from Open Road at different locations since 2013. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Open Road, they are consistent - they provide horrible service and their sales tactics are sleazy (not only based on my experience, but from others I’ve referred). Not to mention, both Hondas (Fit and SI) had leaking issues from the ceiling. Both of which they told me was my problem. So much for realiability. The only upside was the MPGs were good. After being a Honda customer for 10+ years, I’m glad I made the switch to Tesla. TLDR: Buy somewhere else, and you’re probably better off buying a different brand.

Horrible service!

Horrible service! I purchased my vehicle in September of 2023 and I have yet to receive my plates. I am driving around with temp tags that are expired. I was in touch with John Nguyen who stated he was going to assist me but has yet to answer my calls as well as my emails. The gentleman by the name of “Fats” sold me the vehicle and he has been no help as well. Looks like I will be making another trip up to this dealership to try and get my plates.

Shocking

Took my Accord in for service and had to wait 2.5 hours for oil change but I expected that. Once home I opened the hood and was shocked to discover the cap on the brake fluid reservoir was not tightened and the straps on the air filter assembly were not fastened. I was not expecting that.

Hello Tom, We're sorry for any inconvenience you faced during your recent service visit. Your time is valuable, and waiting longer than expected is never ideal. We're investigating what might have caused the delay, as well as the oversight with the brake fluid cap and air filter assembly. Your safety is a top priority, and we're committed to addressing these concerns to prevent any recurrence. Please reach out to us directly so we can discuss this further and ensure your satisfaction. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Unethical car deal….. stay away!

I contacted this dealer with no intention of trying to decrease their asking price on a CPO car. When the invoice was sent to me there were many added fees they added. Their so called “ Aftermarket’s” totaled a whopping $2,489.00!! Their doc fee is $799 plus the “total license fee” is $300! They wouldn’t budge on the doc fee. They also dropped the “aftermarket’s” down to $1,295 and wouldn’t budge on that. I had the deposit ready if they removed the unnecessary fees so there was no sale. The salesperson continued to try and get me to pay for the resistall spray coating and the anti theft wheels stating that I “ need” them. This is not an honest or ethical dealer and I would not recommend dealing with them.

Worst dealership in the tri state area

Leased a 2022 Honda Civic touring last July and was given a run around for 5 days to finalize the lease stating that their computers were down after having me sit at the dealership at minimum 4 hours a day. 3 months after leasing the vehicle the parking and brake sensors stopped working and I contacted the dealer about the defect, I called the dealer about the defect and they told me to come in so they can fix it. In April 2022 now after sitting there for 8 hours Donna Scala tells me they can’t fix the defect as they don’t have the part and can not give me an eta on when they can fix it. They then call me a month later in May to schedule an appointment stating that they have the part and can resolve the defect. So now i came back in today at 9am for my appointment to fix the defect and was told the car wouldn’t be ready till 4pm, so 4pm rolls around and I ask Adam Arnault if the car was ready and he states that the part that they ordered was the wrong part and the defect could not be resolved yet again. So my question is how in the world did it take them 7 hours to figure out if a part was correct for the vehicle. I then asked to speak to the service manager Kyle Roth and he stated that there is nothing he can do about the situation and “I don’t know what to tell you” as he does not have an eta on when the part can come in to fix the defect, and that’s their service MANAGER what a joke give me a better excuse then that at least. So I hope others can learn from my experience and try their best to avoid this dealership. Also when you’re almost done with the leasing or financing process they will tell you to leave a 5 star review and do the right thing after running you around for days to finalize the deal.
