Here's a pro tip for anyone owning a Subaru or possibly

Here's a pro tip for anyone owning a Subaru or possibly any other car utilizing STARLINK. STARLINK knows your exact mileage, service record and VIN #. the app tells you what your GUARANTEED trade in value is. Unfortunately I didn't discover this until after i sold my car. Wichita Subaru will claim they didn't know about this GUARANTEED value and it doesn't matter because that Subaru of America posting that value so they don't have to honor it. Subaru America will say they have no control over the franchise dealerships. so it's all just a gimmick to get you to come in. BUYER BEWARE!

If you’re thinking this, as a Subaru dealership would be

If you’re thinking this, as a Subaru dealership would be a trustworthy shop to handle your vehicle service like I did, you’re wrong. My routine service which I was originally quoted “a couple hours” for took 28 hours, 3 phone calls to the dealership, and an in-person visit once I realized they had zero interest in communicating all for them to inform me that when their mechanic was removing a lug nut, it snapped. This error, I was assured, was anyone’s fault but theirs, and that I should seek out the last person to work on the car for repayment. Entirely their word against mine, and if I wanted to be able to drive out of there, I’d have to cover the full cost of their error. There’s a hundred ways this could have been handled, and all of them would have been better than what actually transpired. Obviously lied to repeatedly on the timeline, zero attempts at communicating possible delays/updates unless I called/forced it, followed by the news that they broke something and it was somehow my responsibility, followed by the audacity to charge me almost $400 for a lug nut that’s literally $6 at autozone snapped while they were working on it. It’s pretty clear I got scammed, and it’s my fault for not researching a better option. Don’t make the same mistake.

This is the worst dealership I have ever seen or known.

This is the worst dealership I have ever seen or known. I just bought a 2016 Range rover and I have had it like 2 weeks now. On Saturday evening engine light came on. I took it back and told them what happened. These guys have been taking me rounds. Eventually they told me to speak to the manager. These guys are very rude, unprofessional and lies. Now they want me to pay $1436.08 so they can fix it for me. Mind you I have just had this range rover for only 2 weeks. I don't recommend anybody to do any transactions with them they are the worst. Am going to put a claim on that car. I don't trust them now they may mess it up more. Especially my african people don't go to Subaru of Wichita at Kellogg.

Purchased a used car for my college student daughter.

Purchased a used car for my college student daughter. Have had the car 4 months haven’t even put enough miles on it to get the first oil change. As my daughter is driving home from work at 11:30 at night dash lights up and car stalls. Had car towed to Subaru of Topeka 2hrs away as it was the closest and we were told that it could be serviced there since she is in college there. Got call stating nothing they can do. Car has a recall that has to do with the issue but according to the manufacturer the recall is not complete yet as there is no fix other than dropping a new engine. Called Subaru of Wichita several times to talk to someone “Rez” is who they say I need to talk to and no call back always an excuse for him not being available. I trusted them! I believe now that they knew all along there was issues with the car and sold it to me to get rid of it. I feel so dumb and violated. Don’t let the fake smiles fool you. I had been recommending them to people and passing out their business cards. I will not recommend them ever again. I think if they could at least act professional and just call a customer back even if they can’t fix the problem would have been the right thing to do.

Do not trust Subaru!

I was called by the dealer multiple times trying to sell cars. Made an appointment on Tuesday morning. Had a feeling that the dealer doesn’t have the vehicle so I called before I go, was told to talk to Jonathan, then Jonathan told me he was busy and will get back with me which he never did. So I called again, was told the car was sold! So glad that I didn’t drive to the dealer and fooled by them! Will never buy a car from Subaru, not honest!

Don't buy at this dealership and do NOT use their

Came in for an oil change. The service guy swears I didn't buy lifetime of owning car oil changes. So I am paying. It may seem small but over the life of the car it's a big deal. Also I am paying for services over 36k miles (several hundred dollars!) and dude isnt responding to my inquiry as to how long it will be. I've been here nearly 2 hours now. I had been thinking of trading it in for something different (non subaru of course) and his flippant and rude attitude sealed it. No more of this dealership.

Thank you!

A few positive things: 1) I was very concerned if my new Subaru would fit into my small one-car garage, the salesperson drove almost 2 hours round trip to bring the car to my house and put it in the garage! 2) I did not feel pressured at all to buy a car.. in fact, I was going to buy a new car and after the salesperson showed me around, I ended up getting one of their used cars.. 3) There ended up being a bit of a misunderstanding on an issue afterward, Subaru was quick to reach out, explain, and then even compensate for an issue they didn't need to.

Do not buy or repair Subarus from this store.

Service center doesn't care to attempt to replicate the problem they just throw it on the computer to test it instead. Which didn't do squat as the problem was an overheating issue. Three times I took it to them and three times they couldn't replicate the problem but they definitely kept charging me for what they thought the problem was. One radiator two hoses and a thermostat later they didn't fix the problem still and they offered to refund a hundred bucks lying and saying that I didn't state it was overheating the first time. If that's true why did they replace the radiator? If that's true why did they replace the thermostat? Something was hit enough for them to charge me to replace all the things that cause a car to overheat. With this kind of highway robbery it's not surprising they have such an awful review score.

Dont be Pressured into buying their JUNK

They took 3 months to get me the title of my new car due to incompey; I fixed the problem in 20 minutes. A car that had significant problems 1 day off the lot! Windshield Washer fluid was a hit and miss affair, the air conditioning needed recharging, and the fan motor was going! High pressure salesmen know exactly how to push you to buy, and once you sign your car shows all the damage they previously hid. Finally got rid of the car they sold me for $11,000 more than it was worth (which I tried to return within hours of buying it, but was told i HAD to keep it), went to a real Subaru dealership and had a MUCH better buying experience.
