    Typical shady "car salesman" experience here. " - Carguysarebad I decided to assume a lease. I am out of state and arranged to have it inspected by BMW... of Manhattan. The inspection report did not list any damages and decided to proceed and have it shipped. Once arrived the problems began. There was a vicious shake when driven. Hoping the wheels simply needed re balanced, I took it to my local BMW dealership. All 4 wheels were cracked. 3 of the 4 were repaired prior with such poor workmanship they could not be fixed. I contacted BMW of Manhattan and ROBERTO FELIZARDO stated the previous owner must have changed the wheels after inspection. Translation: "Idiot, buyer beware" I elected to elevate the poor "lease turn in inspection" issue to the general manager, Joseph Rocker. After many, many attempts via phone, emails and certified letter there was no response. Bottom line: The previous owner ripped me off and BMW of Manhattan does not provide a thorough inspection nor do they back their services. The fix cost me over $1800.00 so I'm not penalized for someone else's damage at lease turn in. They are not through and will ignore you after they get paid. Shop elsewhere, typical shady "car salesman" experience here.

    I was having many problems with my car no one could figure it out I was trying to stay away from the dealer but ending up spending more money somewhere... else they did a very good job couldn’t be more happy my car is still running as good as it did as a result to that I ended up going back to the dealer to by another car and only have them do the maintenance no one else would highly recommend.

    From the moment I bought the car, the cover ups started, first it was that my car could use Apple car play but was told after my purchase that my car did... not have that options and this sales person said I should “use a 3rd party software extension” that could or could not void my connect drive warranty. Then when an intake mechanism broke and only found out when I went in for inspection, giving them 2 weeks till my old inspection was expired they told me that I it would take 3 weeks to get the part and it’s fine to drive not telling me they did do inspection after I made it clear I had an important business meeting after the inspection was expired but they said that was fine, but failed to mention that’s illegal, after called all the managers they forced an inspection and passed. BMW Manhattan will get everything done but it’s a 2nd job, I’ve spend my summer at bmw of Manhattan bc they installed dashcams but messed up the instillation 2 times, and one time I was killing my battery, tne serive staff will make you wait 30 min while they look at you through there glass office doing nothing, nearly everyone is angry and pissed at you for walking in, I was so disappointed bc I love bmw but not bmw of Manhattan

    My Takata airbag inflated was recalled for my vehicle. I left the car with Jim Reed who took care of it within a matter of hours. It turned out that the... airbag in my car wasn’t defective and what I thought would be a 2day wait, turned out to be a 4hr wait which was of very little inconvenience for me. Uber to and from the dealership cost me $45 which was much better than having to rent a vehicle. The attendees were very reassuring, accommodating and pleasant.

    I recently leased a 5series from Jose Valdez. He was honest and straight forward. Quick and open with all information. Friendly but yet still very profession!... I have also spoken to another sales there but was unsatisfied with his work. Definitely no other dealership had an sales close to him and that's including leasing companies. I have and will refer him to my friends and family. And can't wait to lease again in 3 years or purchase from Jose. He gives a FIVE STAR service! Satisfied customer, Richard

    Poor communication; poor staffing; poor service When you think of BMW Manhattan, you expect that exceptional service would be the first phrase that comes... to mind. This is the furthest thing from the case. Worse than that, this store is DIRECTLY affiliated with Corporate, and the manufacturer. To say that they don't have their act together, would be understating the matter. I made an appointment on Thursday November 15 to have my vehicle taken in for a diagnostic service. I explained to the rep clearly that I knew the issue, but that Corporate NA required me to get an "official" diagnostic performed, in order to have the vehicle assessed for goodwill assistance, as I was about 5 months out of warranty. The girl clearly stated that it would not be an issue. I woke up at 5 am on Friday to beat the morning traffic, and still ended up driving 2.5 hrs to get to my appointment on time at 8am. My rep was Christian. He promptly asked me if I was aware that Manhattan "Does not do diagnostics on Fridays". The attitude was very rushed, as if they are turning over sales. I was told that they could get to my car by Mon-Tue. I stated that this would be fine, as long as a loaner could be provided. Again, I am being rushed with an answer "Were you not made aware that loaners will not be available for 1-2 weeks?" I asked him to speak to the service manager, who promptly offered the option of dropping me at an Enterprise rental, and pay a discounted rate. I spoke with the service manager, who basically stated that if I knew what was wrong with the vehicle, what was the need for me to be there. I took my vehicle and left. I don't care if my other two BMWs are more expensive than this one, you simply do not act so blatantly indifferent to the miscommunication that you created. I will NEVER bring my business to this dealer again. They absolutely STINK. I found a better dealer on Long Island (omitting the name, so that the post is not considered bias)

    Jose made my experience painless and actually enjoyable. It’s amazing how you feel as the customer when the car buying experience is tailored for you!... I would recommend Jose and BMW of Manhattan every time.

    My husband and I were shopping a lease program to fit our budget, location, and mileage needs. Jose Valdez was one of the most kind, knowledgeable, and... welcoming sales representatives that answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to secure our confidence. He helped us feel comfortable with our lease choice and maintained an open door approach to any future questions or concerns going forward. The experience was stress free! I highly recommend Jose as trustworthy, and honest. My husband and I purchased a lease, and feel comfortable contacting Jose for future leasing programs or potential vehicle purchase from this dealership, BMW of Manhattan.
