Nightmare!
This nightmare started Aug of 2018 when the transmission went out on my Cadillac which was paid for! But I decided it was time for a upgrade with a reasonable car note. I started doing my homework to search for the perfect car for me and my kids. I drove to many dealerships and test drove many cars too many to count. I finally found Bowman auto sale with what I thought was the perfect car (not nightmare) 2010 Acadia fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. Not to mention it was in my price range of just under $8,000, me and my kids loved it. But I didn't stop there I test drove it at least twice and asked many questions about it and even requested the car facts. It had a couple of minor warnings lights on at the time of the test drive that I was assured was nothing but a sensor that could be turned off for the stability traction. The sensor went off they said they replaced some kind of brake sensor under the steering wheel. I took it to a Auto Zone to have them do their diagnostic test to see if it detected any other warning lights/issues. It did not. After about three days and feeling good that I was purchasing a mechanically sound vehicle I took out a loan and bought the truck "As is no warranty" the nightmare began! When I drove it the day of purchase the A/C didn't work no problem they fixed it. Next, the reverse camera didn't work but they would not replace or troubleshot without me paying a $100 diagnostic fee. I declined. I figured the reverse beep worked I could live without the camera until I had money to replace. When I drove the car off the lot headed home all sales closed. I was trailed by someone who noticed my top brake light was on while I was driving on the expressway(odd)...ok so I called them and they said to bring it back they would look at it at first I was told it would be a $100 charge! I asked for a supervisor and after explaining to them this car was not safe for me to have drove off the lot someone could have easily reared end me and a few other things.. that waived the fee and serviced the car. I was told it was the brake sensor??? (remember that was fixed already when the traction light wouldn't go off?) hummm...Staring not to feel to good about this purchase all of a sudden. But since the repair was done and no other visible issues I thought all was well. In Oct 2018 just two months of driving the car my brakes were grinding soooo bad! I was surprised I really had barley drove the car, but never the less I had them replaced along with a wheel rotation since I had also started to feel a light vibration when driving I thought this would fix that problem. It did not! In November 2018 (3mos later) I took the truck in to be looked at and was told I need a new TRANSMISSION! WOW OK RIGHT!! SO I TAKE OUT ANOTHER $3000 loan FOR REPAIRS! After I called and emailed them to let them know of my problem to no resolve. I HAD TO TAKE THE BULLET (NO WARRANTY) now here we are May 2019 9mos later. My truck stalled out on me at a stop sign. Had it towed to repair shop. It is the TIME and CHAIN! I NEED A NEW MOTOR!!!!!! WTH I GET IT WAS AS-IS BUT THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE AND INJUSTICE TO ME AS A CONSUMER! They had to have known this car was a piece of junk the whole time smiling and taking my money! These repairs will cost up to $4000 more on top of the cost I paid for the truck and the transmission. This dealership should be ashamed and needs to be held to a higher standard to take care of there customers! BUYER BEWARE THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE THE WHOLE TIME NODDING AND SMILING AND TAKING YOUR MONEY!!

Very pleased with my Jetta purchase.
I've walked out of a few dealerships unsatisfied with looking for a used Jetta. I researched through carfax.com and found a a car listed through Bowman in which I met with Linda Kelly. What a great experience Linda was professional and never made me feel like I was dealing with the high-pressure sales person.I drove from New Baltimore to this dealership and will do it again for my next vehicle purchase. 2012 GMC Acadia
