I'm completely happy with my choice to purchase a 2018 Explorer. Four months ago I spoke with Pervis Reynolds regarding the Explorer and he provided... inciteful information regarding body style, feature upgrades and finance options over current lease. I was torn between getting a new Jeep Cherokee Laredo and the Ford. He emailed me some specs and asked me to look them over. I later decided to not get a new vehicle because I didn't want to give up on my old jeep. After a few more months of check engine light issues and countless small repairs I had enough of watching the tow truck take my baby away. I contacted Pervis and asked for his help again. I informed him of what I wanted. "I just want the heated seats and light interior. I don't care about the other technology features". That was my claim. He checked into the vehicle I wanted and set me up for an appointment that evening. After the test drive I was sold on the vehicle even though the interior is dark. "No denim jean residue on the dark leather". Pervis is right! I even love the technology. My jeep was good to me for 18 years but I'm loving this Explorer and all the technical features Pervis sold me on. I appreciate his knowledge, kindness and professionalism. Pervis worked hard on my deal and I'm grateful. He's an awesome guy.

From the Service Manager, Jon, to Hunter and Stephanie who showed compassion and empathy after my having gone through a huge ordeal wiped away, at least... for a short time, my pain and helped me to smile while ensuring that my car was taken care of for my long drive back to the north and caring for my safety. Hunter left no stone unturned in his effort to help me to get the car fixed without an undue financial burden together with Stephanie's and Jon's approval. Whether it was a small gesture to getting me a cold soda to a meal and a ride to an imp appointment, it was done with speed and kindness. Eddie worked on my car and made sure it was safe right down to plugging a hole in my tire. His mechanical ability saved me hundreds of dollars due to a bad part affecting another part of my car. Kudos to him also. Please thank you for helping me and when I told my son overseas, he wept. He got so emotional and will thank Hunter and Jon when he comes home on leave next summer. You are all the greatest ever and anyone should be grateful for your kind actions.

On Friday, 3/30/2018, I received the most horrible service at the Five Ford Dealership on Stone Mountain Highway and I am very upset and disappointed... with the dealership and with the unprofessional service that I received from them. I called the dealership Friday 8AM and spoke to the tech in the service department and wanted to go ahead get my A/C fixed as it wasn’t blowing cold air, and that I wanted it repaired on the next day, Saturday. I visited the dealership previously and got a $1,200 estimate; however, the tech informed me he looked in his files and couldn’t find that $1,200.00 estimate and that he would have to have the service department look at SUV again today to give me a new estimate. I arrived to the dealership the same day around 2:30-3:00 pm, and the estimate now increased to almost $1,700.00 for a condenser and a compressor and the repair would take 5 hours at $120.00 an hour. The tech informed me that the tech that looked at my SUV previously was no longer working there, and he couldn’t find my previous estimate. I requested the tech to give me a written estimate and he replied “you don’t trust me?” This dealership is not some small repair shop on the side of the road that is not use foot traffic and providing good customer service, or is not use to communicating with the public. I received very unprofessional service and the lobby service department had 3 other customers waiting for their cars to be repaired, and they heard this unprofessional way that I was being treated by the tech. The tech refused to give me a professional written estimate and simply showed me how much my vehicle would cost for repair on a crumbled up piece of copy paper that had other scribbling and writings on it. After I demanded he give me a written estimate then he printed out a document that had black out marks on it and the numbers on the document wasn’t readable and I asked one of the customers who was waiting in the lobby area for her car if she could read the document and she said no. I also wanted an oil change and the tech told me they were backed up, however, about 10 minutes later a male customer walked in and wanted an oil change and wanted a drive home while his car was being worked on. He also said that he wanted his car detailed. The tech said “yes sir” we can give you an oil change, however, we don’t usually give car detail unless you get a service, but I will see what I can do, this customer received good service right away. However, I purchased my SUV and $3,000 warranty which wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on and I received horrible service. I asked the tech if they could drop me off at work if I got my A/C repaired and the tech immediately said no because it was too far. The tech didn’t even bother to ask me about the distance to my job. Also, the tech said the only available tech that could fix my A/C was off on that weekend, and he couldn’t give me the previous tech’s lower estimate because that tech no longer worked there. This place should have set prices and not devide their tech work orders and give their home boys this type of repair and I would not have to wait until next Saturday. I informed him that this is not the way to run a successful business and especially for a dealership such as Five Ford Dealership. I just cannot believe that this business only has one person working on a/c repair and that this business divides up their work orders and the only tech that repair car A/C was off on the weekends. That just doesn’t make any sense to me. To me it just sounded like the good ole boys looking out for each other and not giving good customer service to me as a female customer as I purchased my SUV at this dealership. However, I will never return to this dealership ever again. I purchased a Ford Escape warranty and it wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on and I never received any service with this so call warranty and get my A/C repaired. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE from them ever again
