Director

i bought 2 cars from Frank, a Camry and a CRV. Cars were in good shape and price was fair. what i was especially happy about was the follow up service i got with the CRV. I shipped the car to FL to title and register down there and ran into a paperwork problem w FL DMV. First they didn't accept the NY state dealer paperwork where Frank bought the car. Then they questioned the bill of sale. In both cases I reached out to Frank in a pinch and he jumped right on it, contacting the NY dealer to get the paperwork cleared up and emailing to me the same day. Then when the FL DMV rep called him out of the blue to clarify the bill of sale problem, Frank got on the phone with her and immediately emailed her the right info. We were able to get the car titled and registered without any more BS. Without Frank helping out the way he did, I would still be using a temp reg and tag. This guy is a great businessman and will help you out even after the sale is completed. He's a good man and nothing like the stereotype you hear about shady used car dealers. If you need a good used car and want to deal with a class act Frank is your guy

2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 White Pickup Truck!

Happy New Year! is well worth saying! Frank Krause Automotive exceeded my expectations of trust and humbleness. I traveled many miles from Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Spring Lake, New Jersey to pick up my truck on January 3rd. It is very hard these days and times to trust someone just on words...not even close enough for a handshake! This was a wonderful experience for me being that I am 67...68 in a couple of months, a single woman who's only choice is to handle business by knowledge and faith. I mention this because many women must handle and make decisions on their own and Frank Krause is a great person to do business with; and, you can trust that you will be in safe hands! I highly recommend doing business with Frank Krause, no matter who you are. My 2005 Chevrolet is everything that Mr. Krause told me...great running condition, looks clean and in overall great condition...body (exterior), interior, tires, etc. The miles I traveled were well worth the trip and meeting Frank Krause in person...what a great guy! Driving back to Rocky Mount, NC was very pleasant and peaceful with no worries. Thank you, Frank Krause! Now, your name is a household name! Several people have express their interest to me in calling on Frank Krause for a great automobile purchase deal experience!

Two brothers loyal to Frank

Just bought my third Toyota from Frank after giving the secon d one that I have been driving for 8 years now to my daughter. it is still going strong after putting 100 thousand miles on it. The car had seventy thousand when i bought it. My brother has enjoyed similiar service from the Honda he bought from Frank and will soon be ready for another. My mother will e next in line after she turns in her lease. It is always comforting to know that the used car buying process will always be cobnsistenyk good here.

Don’t buy from Frank Krause

Buyer beware, took advantage of a widow with her teenage son who needed to get his first car. Lied to us about fixing car, we had basic 30 day warranty and the car stopped accelerating 3 days before warranty expired. Frank was very pissed off that he had to fix it, refused to tow the car so we had to use our insurance to have car towed to his place to have it fixed, then told us he fixed it. Needless to say, 2 months later the car is not accelerating again, brought it to Pep Boys and technician told us the whole throttle wasn’t replaced, Frank just replaced the sensor and technician told us he has seen this trick done before. BUYER BEWARE THIS PLACE IS NO GOOD YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF STAY AWAY BETTER OFF GOING TO A DEALERSHIP THAN THIS JERK

Dealer response

I keep a folder on every car, so it was easy for me to see that not only did I reduce the advertised price over $700.00 on this particular 2005 Corolla with 81,000 miles, I also included a 30-day internal powertrain warrantee, when I sold it to the customer in late July of this year, as an even further gesture of good-will for this lady and her son, so I will not let her play the "widow" card on you, as she was treated more that fairly. After the sale, she had an issue opening the trunk from inside the car, and I gladly fixed that problem for her, by repairing the lock mechanism in the trunklid, not covered under warrantee, but she fails to mention that I fixed it for her without issue or cost. When she reported to me that the car was not accelerating properly, I was never "pissed off", this is not true, as these are used cars, and in this case, 15-years old, and I am quite accustomed to problems, they are to be expected to some minor extent, and nothing for the customer to be upset about either. Since we are talking about one of the most reliable cars built, a Corolla, it is therefore most unlikely that a any problem can be major. When I told the customer she would have to get the car to me so I could diagnose and repair the acceleration (throttle) issue, she expected me to tow it. I'm not in the business of towing cars and don't own a tow truck, so I can hardly be expected to tow them, and the warrantee I gave her free of charge did not include towing, this is what motorclubs, such as AAA, provide for. When the car was delivered to me, we drove it (it was driveable) and we diagnosed it as malfunctioning electronic throttle sensor, which we replaced with a new part. The throttle itself, is the gas pedal, and does not require changing because it is mechanical, and not subject to failure, unlike the electronic control component bolted to it that is motivated by it. This part is available separately and is what we changed. We road-tested the Corolla, and the car was picked up by the customer. It has been 3-months, not two, as the customer states, and she apparently has the same problem, and instead of calling me, she takes the car to Pep Boys who wants to replace more than what may actually be needed, telling her I performed a trick. I've been a specialist in Toyotas and Hondas for 30 years now and don't need "trickery" to make repairs. Good repairs are made with accurate diagnosis, quality parts and installation. Had she revisited me with the same problem, any possible malfunction with the new parts I installed would still be covered under the warrantee included with those new parts, should they have proven defective within this time frame, and replaced free of charge, but she has chosen to rely instead upon the diagnosis of Pep Boys and pay them rather than have me revisit the issue. No one is perfect, not me, not Toyota, and not any manufacturer of parts we install, but everyone should be given the chance to make what they do, right, and if the part we installed, which apparently provided smooth operation for three whole months, subsequently failed to continue doing so, we should have been advised of this trouble, and the situation would have again been remedied without cost. Instead, the customer chose to become an "upset mom" upon the advice from Pep Boys. Due to careful selection of cars for sale and careful handling of customers and their concerns, I am glad to say I haven't had many upset customers, as you can see, its been quite the opposite. Since no one is perfect, there must be one occasionally, or I would not be in business. I thank all those happy customers for their support and loyalty over the years, as I always continue to learn and try to do my best.

Trustworthy Dealer

I am so happy w the 2002 Tacoma I bought from Frank. It is in beautiful shape as he described and have put 2,000 miles on it since purchasing and have had no issues. He let me take it to a mechanic to get it checked out before buying and they said it looked good. Frank doesn’t negotiate much on price but he seems to be honest and committed to only selling vehicles in good shape.

Needed a reliable and luxurious SUV for my family.

This is Elliot from Howell. Frank Krause just got me a great deal on a black Lexus RX 350. He is a true pro who knows cars inside and out. He also has so much experience that he can guide you through the buying process effortlessly. I completely trust his judgment in picking reliable cars for a good price. This is the second car I have bought from him and I will also buy my next car from Frank too. He is a good man who will answer any questions you have and find you a great car.

Frank Krause Auto

Frank is a man of integrity and he only deals with high quality used cars. This meant a lot to me because it made the process painless. I didn’t have to worry about whether or not I was getting a fair deal; in fact I was confident that I was getting a great deal. Thank you, Frank!

Love my truck

I bought a truck from Frank. It was the smoothest car buying experience of my life. I don't plan on buying from any other dealership ever again.
