How to Loose a Loyal Customer

Purchased a used car from Pittsville Ford for my daughter in December 2015. Very happy with the sales process and had an enjoyable experience. So much so that we continued to have the vehicle serviced regularly at the dealer. Incurred problems with last two visits. In August, my routine oill change required a return visit to fix a loose tire. In January 2020, made an appointment for a routine oil change and tire rotatation. This service is now being performed by Quick Lane, a subsidiary of Pittsville Ford & operating out of the old dealership location. My routine oil change took 4 hours, required immeadiate returning twice to service center due to problems with tire virbration and inflation warnings. A third return took me to the new Pittsville Ford center.where the previous service from Quick Lane needed to be re-checked and/or re-done. As a result, I have no confidence specifically in Quick Lane and dissapointed at Pittsville Ford in general. Friendly people but no way can I go back as I simply cannot trust them to do what they say they will do and for the service I've paid them to do. Sad day

Terrible Service

Worst experience ever with a car!!! They have had my car 2 weeks and finally admitted they don’t know how to fix it. Very difficult to get anyone to return calls... awful I wish there was something lower than one star!

Great service

Very smooth and easy purchase of an F-150. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with and went out of their way to be nice with my kids. Can’t say enough nice things about this dealership.

Horrible

I have taken my van to a mechanic multiple times when they hold it for weeks at a time. And again picked it up today with a new problem. Never take your vehicle there I am not just being rude they are not reliable

Terrible car shopping experience

Despot having an appointment, my experience started by having to wait 15 minutes sitting across a desk from another salesman eating his lunch. When I did get to speak to a salesman, I asked about the crash listed on the vehicle's history. The salesman knew I was coming to look at this specific vehicle, but was totally unaware of the reported crash. He pulled the car around, but then sent me on my test drive with a different employee who I don't even believe was on the sales team. As soon as we got in, I pointed out that both the tire pressure and the stability control warning lights were lit on the dash. Again, to the apparent surprise of everyone I spoke to. The entire experience was completely laughable.

My car has a latent defect.

I purchased a used car, a Ford focus, with a defect known by the dealer. The salesperson, Troy, told me he had one with the same defect. After receiving a class action letter, I tried to trade the car in. They won't take it back. This 2014 shudders and hesitates at every stop and go. I could not be more unhappy.

Helpful and courteous.

I had two vehicles to trade for one new one. Decided on the Ford Escape. Had bought from Pittsville Motors before. Salesman, Craig was very patient and helpful. Drove about 4 cars with different features. had the need for a certain range for monthly payments. Manager was very helpful and made this all possible. Not pushy or overbearing , but instead, very helpful and listened to what i had to say. Although i have had to Escape for just a couple of days, i really love it. It's just what I need and wanted.
