that retirement car

I have been in the market for that full on old man car (as my wife calls them) ...not wanting a 7 year payment I have been looking for a quality used car. I found the make and model but was finable get get any info back from my request to the dealership...

Awful Dealer

Dealer never contacted me, I had to call on my own about my inquiry. Everyone there was condescending and rude. I called and spoke with Rudy and he told me I was the first to ask about the car, I told him my next available day was at the end of the week. I noticed there was about 50 inquiries for the car on car gurus, so I gave Rudy a call and asked if it was sold, He tells me No but he could give me a call before the end of the week to let me know if something happens, I ask if I the car can be held with a payment and he says No. So come the end of the week I don?t hear anything and drive 2 hours to go see the vehicle, I arrived there almost right after the dealer opened, and the car I wanted had a sold sign on it. I was livid, I go inside and speak to Rudy about it and he tells me somebody put a deposit on the car !! That made me furious considering I wasn?t able to, so I tell him to cancel that persons deposit because I was ready to buy the car right then and there, Rudy tells me no and that I should?ve called first !! I told him he was supposed to call me if something happened but here I am. Rudy tells me there?s nothing he can do and he?ll call me if the person doesn?t come get the car, which I doubt will happen because he couldn?t even call me in the first place, and also because he?s most likely holding it for a friend. Rudy just threw me to the side like I?m a worthless customer. Spare yourself the visit, everyone there is rude. Premium Motors won?t be seeing any of my money unless some sort of miracle were to happen.

2010 Nissan Altima

We were looking for a used car to replace our 2010 Hyundai Accent which we have out grew .Since our family has grown since the birth of our two twins. I went there and was greeted by the sales manager Rudy . He was very pleasant and polite which made us feel very comfortable with him not pushy like your typical sales person. Second car was in very good condition which made me wonder if something might not be right. After the test drive I was very much impressed the car is in excellent condition. We needed financing and they were able to assist us with a good loan. Michelle did the paper work and explained everything to us. She was also great to work with. After two weeks me and family love this car. Over all this place is a stand alone dealership compared to your typical used car lots in the area. They provided us with a complimentary full tank of gas . I have bought many cars in my life and this purchase was the most easiest non stressful purchase ever. Again thank you Rudy and Premium for your help and great customer service.

Lexus RX400h

I was looking for a Lexus RX400 to replace my current one. I found one on Premium Motors web site. So me and my husband went over around 6:30 pm they close at 7pm . They stood open for us and went over and beyond the call of duty for us . Rudy made us feel relaxed and comfortable with the whole purchase . He was able to get us a loan at a very good interest and payment. I was very shocked as earlier in the week I visited CarMax and they tried giving me a interest rate almost double of what I received from Premium. I will give Rudy and Premium Motors my hat off to them as they are very professional and patient when it comes to there customers. I will defiantly do more business with them in the future.

Good customer service

First let me start by saying the staff here is amazing .The sales guy Rudy is very patient and very informative. My father needed to get pickd up to purchase a Jeep Wrangler for me as I'm in New Mexico stationed for the Air Force. Rudy arranged Arthur I think his name was to pick my dad in Woodstock and drive him to Villa Park at no cost. Second the car was everything Rudy described over the phone as we spoke for more than 1 week. The gave us a good price so we purchased it. Third is the best part yet they arranged shipping for us at a very discounted price as they deal with transport companies all the time. We were quoted 900 by numerous companies .Rudy arranged for us to pay 550. Again saved us some money. After receiving my Jeep 1 week later .I must say I'm so happy I love this Jeep Wrangler. I have received numerous compliments by all my friends here. No one can believe I bought this Jeep in the Midwest its so clean with no rust. I recommended Premium Motors .They are honest and straight forward. thanks again guys.

Questionable Dealership

I usually don't write bad reviews but I feel like one is necessary in my case. I was interested in a vehicle on their lot so I used to cars.com contact form to show my interest. It took several days for them to reply but I was told the vehicle was in "prestige condition". In the email I was told to call Rudy. I wasn't ready for phone contact so I replied to the email asking for Rudy's email address. I never got a reply. A few days later I called Rudy to ask some questions about the vehicle. I live over 3 hours away from the dealership so I didn't have time to just stop by and check it out myself. He informed me they already replaced the battery and flushed the coolant system. I gave Rudy a check list of things I wanted to check and he said he would take the vehicle for a test drive and call me back in 40 minutes. He didn't call back for 5 hours but said everything checked out great. I then told Rudy that I would be down on Friday morning (2 days later) to look at the vehicle. He said he would have it ready for me. When I got to the dealership Friday morning the vehicle was parked in front of the building. I was handed the keys to check it out while Rudy was still setting up for the day. The key fob didn't work to unlock the doors. I pulled the door handle to see if it was unlocked and noticed the dome light didn't illuminate in the vehicle. The battery was dead. They offered to jump the vehicle but I didn't have time to deal with any issues as I had a couple of other vehicles to check out in the area. The exterior of the vehicle was not in "prestige condition". There were several door dings and a few medium scratches on the body. Also, at least 2 of the 4 wheels had some serious curb rash on them. I never got to examine the interior. So either they never replaced the battery or the vehicle has an electrical problem that caused the battery to drain within 2 days of sitting. That's assuming he actually took it for a test drive 2 days either. I believe they tried to start it and it wouldn't start so they had to jump it. That is why it took them 5 hours to call me back vs 40 minutes. I would be really upset had I drove over 3 hours for this one vehicle. Luckily enough, I had others that I was interested and ended up purchasing a vehicle from a different dealership that day. So my trip wasn't a total waste. But this dealership was the furthest away and ended up wasting 2 hours of my day. I'm also very grateful the dealership didn't check the vehicle that morning to make sure it would start. It would have been terrible if the battery would have died on my 3 hour drive home. I don't know exactly what the issue with the cars. But here's what it breaks down to. 1. The battery was never replaced? 2. The battery was replaced but the vehicle has an electrical problem? 3. The dealership stretched the truth about the condition of the vehicle on their lot? This was just my experience with this one vehicle. Maybe some of their other vehicles won't have these issues.

Wonderful dealership to work with!

This dealership was a pleasure to do business with. Our salesman was Rudy who was extremely laid back and helpful. I did not feel any pressure or pushiness whatsoever from this salesman. Rudy was there to answer all of our questions and assisted us through the whole process. Rudy and Andy were very negotiable and fair with their prices and even had repairs done for us post purchase. They washed and filled up the gas tank the day I came to pick up the vehicle, which was not expected and very caring of them to do. The owner Andy was also a pleasure to speak with, he was very down to earth and friendly. I do not remember the man's name who was in charge of the financing/payment aspect of the dealership, but he had a great sense of humor and made us feel very welcome. Overall, they stayed late for us when we couldn't make it by their closing time on the dot, were very friendly/helpful, and overall one of the best dealerships we've dealt with. Thank you Rudy, and Andy for a wonderful car buying experience! Premium Motors in Villa Park is wonderful!!

Awesome!

After test driving over 10 cars from multiple dealerships, I FINALLY found the perfect dealership. The team made car buying easy, fast and simple. I bought a wonderful used car that was in great condition and checked out in all areas. Hands down a great dealership with a great caring staff! Would definitely buy again here and recommend to anyone!

Nice car; fair price; excellent customer service

My purchase of a 2003 Lexus RX300 from Premium Motors really put their dedication to customer service and satisfaction to the test, and they passed with flying colors. While I was test driving the car, the check engine light came on, and, as is characteristic of these cars, it went into a "limp home" mode, and I returned it to them intending on looking elsewhere. That same evening, Andy, the owner, called me to explain that his mechanic had found water in the connection for the engine knock sensors, and expressed confidence that this was the cause of the problem, so much so that he gave me a written guarantee that if the computer set the code again that he would do whatever it took to make it right. The very next morning, my wife drove the car and the check engine light returned along with the limp home mode. I went to see Andy about this, and while I was sitting there he called a Lexus dealer and ordered all the Lexuspensive parts needed to replace BOTH knock sensors and the wiring harness, as well as new gaskets for the intake manifold that had to be removed to do the job; he didn't hesitate, he didn't hedge, he kept his word. What is more, I told him that my wife needed the car by Saturday night to take a trip out of town early Sunday morning (this all took place late Friday afternoon) and he had the car ready to go on Saturday afternoon. An outstanding experience all the way around. I got a very nice car at a very fair price from a quality company. I would definitely buy there again. Thank you for a very satisfying car buying experience.
