Bait and switch

Classic bait and switch. Say they have a new car, contact for price. Told they don't have the new car but have a used car at an inflated price.

I apologize for any inconvenience but,I promise you that the statement "Bait and switch" is incorrect. When Ford invoices a vehicle it automatically goes into our inventory and populates to our website. It is a problem that we are very aware of and I wished I could change the procedure but it's out of my control. I have vehicles that I've been invoiced for.. that are up to 150 days old and we still haven't received them. Now, if you tell me that you spoke to a sales person on the phone and they told you that a paticular vehicle was on the lot and it wasn't then you can call me and I'll pesonally correct the situation. The Glockners have been in business for over 170 years and through 6 generations and this behavior will not be tolerated.. We are the only dealership in the Tri-State area that has not took advantage of our customers by charging what all the other dealers consider (market adjustment).
