Kamal Mansoor is the real deal!

Kamal Mansoor is the real deal! He was the most honest, upfront, respectful, true to his word salesman that I have ever dealt with in my 53 years. I highly recommend working with him, he will make the entire experience of buying a used car feel like a breath of fresh air. If you have the honor to work with Kamal, do not hesitate. You don’t find many people like Kamal in today’s world. Do yourself a huge favor and work with this guy, you will not be sorry!

Wanted a clean preowned SUV

Went in to see a late model SUV that we had reviewed over Autotrader...No pressure at all! I was shown the car, and was given the review of the care. I bought many cars in my day and I pride myself very much on the ability to look at the appearance of a car (the small things) to determine if the car is right or not!.We wanted a nice clean late model SUV for me to have that would not break the bank! I came back the next day and made what I felt was a very fair deal. I was treated with respect! and with no pressure at all!! We are very pleased with our very clean pre-owned SUV!! I could not be happier!!!

Unpaid registration

Purchased a car from them in late January. I paid cash for the car and taxes and license. In February I received the bill from the dmv for registration renewal in March. Turns out the fees that the dealer charged me were for the eleven months that I didn’t own the car. Yes, buyer beware but I feel it shows low integrity on their part. Also they had the price stickers on the windshield covering two large chips . Dirty pool.

I was ripped off

I made the mistake of doing business here last week. I bought a blue 06 Subaru Forester for $5,000 out the door. The salesmen assured me that there were no issues with the car. It looked and drove fine... When buying, the salesman offered an option of returning the car within two days if I didn't like it. For this privilege, I had to pay $75 up front, and if I brought the car back I would have to pay an additional $175 "restocking" fee. It seemed like a reasonable insurance option, so I opted in. The next day I took the car to a reputable mechanic for a full inspection. At 133,000 miles one might expect some maintenance, but not like this. Here's what the mechanic found and recommended: - Left and right cylinder head gaskets leaking engine oil - Transmission cooler line leaking at radiator - Transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and brake fluid very dark - Coolant looks like rust water - Inside edge of rear tires worn - Alignment needed - Front differential and rear differential fluid service due - Spark plugs (gap at .052 - spec is .039-.049) - Fuel system cleaning (throttle body coking buildup) - Struts, coolant hoses, and timing belt all original - past due For the head gasket repair alone, I was looking at at least $2,000. The mechanic informed me that the previous owner had done a thorough job of cleaning up the spilled oil, so as to hide the fact that the gaskets were leaking. He also said the car did not appear to have been properly maintained ever because many engine components were original and should have been replaced long ago. With the rest of the repairs I was looking at a few more grand, which effectively meant the car was a LEMON. And even if I wanted to try and salvage the car, some things such as the rust in the coolant system were irreparable. The mechanic gave me his condolences and suggested that I return the car as soon as possible. The following day, I returned the car. The salesmen acknowledged the issues and offered to have his mechanic have a look at it (presumably the same mechanic who had ignored and even attempted to conceal these very issues). I wanted nothing more to do with these people. In the end, I had paid $250 for nothing, not to mention the $100 car inspection, and the time and effort wasted driving an hour back and forth to the dealership three times. Worst of all I still don't have a car. If for some reason you still choose to go here after reading this review, just a warning: watch out for the blue 06 Subaru Forester. The salesman told me that they would repaint the car, raise the price, and put it back out on the lot for sale. If I could afford to, I would buy a new car, but I can't, so I buy used. When you're not a mechanic yourself, you have to rely somewhat on the integrity and the decency of the human being selling you the car. Ultimately, I have only myself to blame for getting ripped off. All the same though, I can't comprehend how these people live with themselves.

Seems a little shady

We visited the KAS to see a VW beetle that KAS has for sale for $3500 on the web. When we dropped by the lot he has a "Sale" tag on the same car for 3995. His sale price is almost $500 more than his listed price on the web. I test drove the car, and I really liked it. I asked about the price, and he said he really can't lower the price from $3995 because they bought it a little too high. The car is still listed on the web for $3500 weeks later. Nice people or not, that to me is very deceptive. Huge waste of my time. The price isn't the issue, the inconsistency and what seems to be deceptive pricing practice is a huge red flag to me.

I found Mo to be very easy to converse with. No pressure, just good, useful information. He goes out of his way for you. Phil

Best customer service I've ever experienced

These guys are the absolute greatest. I searched for months and talked to dozens of dealers in the Sac area trying to find the perfect car. Out of every dealership I spoke with, KAS was by far the most polite, honorable, and personable folks I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. If you're looking for a great vehicle from a dealership that will stand behind their product, come see the guys at KAS. Thank you all for everything and I hope to visit you again someday!

Not so happy customer

Although the people were very helpful (of course, because they are motivated to sell their junk) the car itself has turned out to be a moneypit, and I am fairly certain they knew it. It broke down within a week of purchase and has had nothing but problems since. Even one of the seat belts doesn't buckle....... such a disappointment. They definutely uphold the stereotype of a used car lot.

Affordable and Great

They have great management and customer service. I went their with my dad and they took care of us. We originally went looking for a specific brand, but they gave us a way better deal and they even helped us change the battery on my dad's old car. I'm very satisfied with my car and would recommend this place for those who look for honest and good service.
