very good!

Very good service. The young man at the service counter was very nice and helpful. The price was what was expected and fair. It was done promptly and professionally.

SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE

Just terrible. I bought a brand new K5 GT from Kia of Auburn (I live in Atlanta) things went very smoothly and we were super happy with the overall buying process. However, like most dealerships, once the car is out of their hands, they don’t care much about their customers. They offered to deliver the car to me here at my home, and took my Audi trade in. Long story short, the entire front wheel assembly was damaged on the BRAND NEW car (I would prefer to believe this was caused by the gentleman delivering the car and that the dealership didn’t knowingly send me a damaged vehicle). Took it straight to our local Kia and they were very helpful at getting my car in right away, unfortunately the parts are going to take a few weeks to come in. When we notified the sales team at Auburn, they failed to take any responsibility and did not offer any solutions. I was told they would send me a loaner (our local Kia did not have loaners at the time) which I never even heard back about. I never heard from the sales manager Maurice until I let them know I was leaving a review. He called me and STILL failed to take any sort of responsibility and basically the only thing he seemed to be concerned about was the rating that I gave their dealership when Kia emailed me after the purchase. He had the nerve to ask about the rating when I’m sitting here 3 weeks without a car. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here. Save yourself the headache.

Nobody does it better!

I was leary of this dealership based upon a prior experience. This time was very different. I was greeted by the most courteous and knowledgeable salesman, Mr. Philpot (Q). From beginning to end he was very accommodating and attentive to my auto needs. The vehicle that I chose fit me perfectly. I was able to get within my price range and monthly payment. My vehicle was not at the location so I was provided a loaner until my car was delivered. There were a couple of issues that were easily resolved. Finance (Eric) was also very courteous and attentive to my needs. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others. It was my best buying experience yet.

Overpriced

Overpriced. Predatory Dealerships like this one are the reason for overpriced cars. Asking $8,000 over MSRP is ridiculous, telling me it is a document fee makes it worse. Buyers will be instantly upside down the day they drive off the lot. Do yourself a favor and look at the window sticker before you even talk to this dealer.

BUYER BEWARE

THIS PLACE BREATHES INCOMPETENCY, UNPROFESSIONALISM, and LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. If there was a way to give zero stars I would choose that option. I visited this location on a Tuesday and was pretty much just shopping around but I found something I was interested in and I spoke with a salesman. I told him my price range and he gave me numbers way over my budget. After sitting there with my fiancé and infant son for hours, we decided to leave. The numbers were in our scope of budget so we left and started looking other places. We went home afterwards and got a text from the salesman we were working with stating he could get us in the price range we wanted (why he didn't do this while we were there, I don't know) but we ignored the text. The next day he called and said we could do the deal and we needed to come in that day. Well, we didn't want to but he made it seem imperative; so we went. The salesman provides us with no paperwork yet asks us for proof of insurance. He then states he got us 5 dollars below the rate we were not willing to pay...5 dollars. That's it. We took the deal only because we have been looking for a car awhile and needed something ASAP. We made a down payment that day, which is now Thursday (2 days after our initial visit). Because we we're using a co signer we did not sign paperwork that day. We we're told it would be gassed up, detailed , and ready to go on Saturday. We had to return on Saturday, which was fine with us. We arrive Saturday with our co signer and the salesman then asks for our paystubs. Never told us about this previously so we could be prepared. He claims he didn't know he needed to our paystubs (How? You're selling a car!) Luckily, we had that on hand. We sign papers and then we are told that the keys to the car we just signed for are locked in the service room and they could not get them so they provided us with a car until Monday. The salesman stated that the car would be ready at 12 noon. I arrive Monday at 12 noon and tell the receptionist that I'm there to pick up my car I signed for on Saturday. She looks at me confused. I told her the keys were locked in the service center and I was told return at this time to pick them up. She calls the salesman and he greets me to say that the car handle and issue with the door and it needed to be repaired. Never knew about this issue or repair. I was then told that it would be ready later that day (still Monday). I never received a phone call so I went up there again only to find out that the part had not yet been received and it would arrive the next day (Tuesday) and the car would be ready. The finance manager gave me is phone number to contact him personally for updates. Well... today is Tuesday. I called around 4:30 (location closes at 7) and was told that the car would be ready at 6:30. Someone calls us and says "hey we can drive the car out to you. We are on the way. See you soon". We live 15 min or less from this location. 1 hour passes, no call. 2 hours pass no call. At this point, it's closing time. We call the salesman and he says "we can't bring the car. We have to get manager approval first and it needs detailing" CLICK!!!! I hang up. HOW? How! WHY? This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional and lacks any concern for the customer. You've had my down payment since THURSDAY. There was more than enough time to handle anything wrong with this vehicle. To not even be told about the door situation and fed some BS excuse that the keys were in service displays a lack of communication. No one ever wants to give you a call back, you have to call them only to hear that what they said would be taken care of, is not handled. I am involving my lawyer in this matter, the contract is being reviewed as we speak to determine my rights a a consumer. I've contacted corporate to file a complaint toward this franchise and I plan on making it known in every platform I have that this place is as bad as the reviews say that are. BUYER BEWARE!

Unethical bait and switch

I was contacted by the sales team after submitting a Kelley blue book instant cash offer. The manager of the internet sales department told me she had a cash offer in hand for my car. After arrival, they attempted to sell me a car off the lot and offer a trade-in value. The sales rep told me their motive was to get potential customers in the door "anyway possible". They were not interested in my car after promising me the minimum amount from Kelley blue book. Desperate unethical sales tactics. Beware!!!

DO NOT BUY HERE

I would encourage everyone to avoid a purchase at this KIA location! They demonstrated the most appalling deceptive practice I have encountered in any car search I have ever done! I noticed a blue Kia Plus model on their website. Marshell reached out to me, having seen some tracking data that showed I was interested in this model. I used it as a chance to ask some questions I was confused because the "List Price" was way above the MSRP for this Year and Model Trim. I was concerned they had purposely listed any car that they have way above the MSRP rate, then fabricated the "Dealer savings" that way. Their dealer savings was over $3800 but I could not see how that was possible since the MSRP was much much lower. Marshell would never tell me the MSRP for the car I was interested in (A KIA Soul +). When Marshell realized I knew it was above MSRP by a good margin, it was stated that was because of add ons and extras, although the website did not indicate it was anything but a standard 2019 Kia Plus model. I kept asking what add ons were included or how had it been customized. Marshell got a tad hostile at that point. Then Marshell said was sick and could not tell me that day. Marshell also said the sales managers did not want to deal with people who had questions as they had customers on the lot they dealt with. Marshell said he would be told the next day. The next day came and Marshell's exact words via text regarding the upgrades/customization were:"It's got the upgraded signature Soul offset sport rims, and it's got cargo cover and Carribean Blue exterior!" Yes folks! Color is NOW a customization and/or add-on. I asked for a picture of these sports rims that were the "reason" the price was higher. Marshell sent me a picture. I will attach if I am allowed. It literally was the tires of the Kia Soul BASE model, which are CHEAPER TIRES. So they are trying to sell me a 2019 Kia PLUS model, put BASE tires on them and SELL THEM for MORE money than it would cost for the standard Plus model tires????? When I called Marshell out on the fact that the tires that I was being shown were for a lower level trim and Marshell stated this was an upgraded package?? Marshell ignored me after I brought that up. There was literally NO RESPONSE ANYMORE. What should be as concerning is the fact that they are pricing cars WAY above MSRP and showing "Savings" when they "discount" it. I am concerned they are not actually selling cars at this elevated price and are just using it to show huge savings. I think they are required to show a price that they consistently sell the Make and Model at before it can be used at the benchmark for savings. If they are doing that, I find it extremely odd they are able to sell way above MSRP. Perhaps they are. They are also not supposed to be selling you a higher price model with trim level that is actually lower than what is being advertised. As you can see with the picture, these are lower trim level. I guess because I am young, they felt I would be stupid enough to just not ask questions, require them to be transparent or even care that their employees are now selling "Caribbean Blue" as extra. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP.

We love KIA!

We recently purchased our second car from Taylor of Kia in Auburn. He made the whole process so easy for us. We love our 2018 Kia Sorento and look forward to purchasing again in the future!
