Purchased a tacoma off their lot, the owners son ended up

Purchased a tacoma off their lot, the owners son ended up doing the deal with my father and I. He said he would get us x amount for our trade-in, he gave us $1.7k less than he told us. Sales person also said he would look into getting us an additional key but at the end of the deal, after all paperwork signed... he said "I never said I was getting you a second key, I said I would check with my manager and get back to you". Keep in mind, this is the owners son, not a regular sales rep... would you do business with someone that lies and deceives you? Granted most dealerships do for their best interest but this establishment was said to be great. I think not... stay away from this Dealership and all their partnering dealerships at all costs.

Terrible service, no follow up, no response.

Call, email, etc, they couldn't care less... The below is a summary of the issues I had, which were reported to the dealer twice, and never responded, other than automatically generated messages: I paid almost $1,500 (up from the originally quoted ~$1,000) and got essentially none of my requests addressed. 1 - The Airbag light remains coming and going, with the annoying noise; 2 - The Wheels were not aligned, the car is trembling when I drive it. Worse, ever since I left the dealership it has a sign of "Pressure Loss". I inflated the tires and there's nothing wrong, but the light is still on, and it wasn't before. 3 - Two years ago we asked for the rear wiper blade to be replaced. They replaced it for one that was an inch bigger than it should be, so for 2 years that thing has been hitting the top of my trunk. I asked for it to be replaced and of course it wasn't. After driving back to the dealer it was fixed, at last. 4 - My lane assistance and ACC aren't working. I was told I had to pay $1,400 to "recalibrate it". I took it to Safelite Autoglass and was told someone touched the camera, left it disconnected, and as a result, I lost the warranty. 5 - The car was filthy dirty outside (dirtier than when I left it), no clean, wash or voucher offered.

Horrible Dealer

We've been to this dealership multiple times. They try and bait and switch us every time. They commit to giving us a great deal, get us all excited. Then slowly the deal gets worse and worse. I had my old car completely cleaned out for them to take. Then they tell us the deal doesn't really even exist. I've been there 3 times they have done this every time. Super sleazy.

Poor customer service

They refuse to answer their phones and sales won’t return a call with a very simple question. I also noticed a salesman sitting in one of the floor Atlases literally on a personal call. I turned in my leased car and wasn’t informed it had been officially received - had to ask if we could go. Never getting a VW again just based on the odd service I got from Santa Barbara, Neftin and here. Bums me out, love the cars..,

Worst car service experience in 30 yrs of driving

My 2019 Jetta has a faulty transmission (dangerously lurching forward from 1st to 2nd gear and dragging between other gears) and the passenger window does not go up and down. When it does, it rocks and makes a loud banging noise. The car was brought back to dealer a couple weeks after buying it. The kept the car for one week, but did not repair the transmission or window. They had little concern or interest in helping. I sent a certified letter to the GM of the dealer which he ignored. I opened a case with VW Corporate and DMV under the Lemon Law. Meanwhile, the car has gone back to dealer two more times with the same issues. Each time they keep my car for one week and they return it in the same condition. After the first one week visit, they never bothered to check the transmission fluid (which should have been the first item they checked). The car was sold to me with NO TRANSMISSION FLUID and I was driving it for a month before they discovered it during the second week long repair. The dealer blatant lied to and sent false reports to VW Corporate who was is as useless and professional as the dealer. I have been driving for 30 years. This is the worst car, worst dealer, worst car service experience I have had. 90 days of owning this car, three full weeks at the dealer, open cases with DMV, BBB, VW Corporate, dangerous to drive with the faulty transmission. frustrating broken window--all around bad dealership with zero commitment to customer service. Once the car was purchased and they had my money, they were done with me. How does this dealer stay in business?

review Barber VW Ventura

Dealing with Barber VW of Ventura was the most dredful experience we have ever had in the purchase of a new car. The paperwork was mixed up with someone else and we received a nasty letter directing us to return the new 2014 VW we purchased. Calls to the dealership were not always return, it was necessary that we go direct to VW for some answeres. VW assighed a reginal inverstigator to our problem. Only then did we get the issure resolved. The other issues were the same one hears alot of. Once the deal was made the salesman was no where to be found, the person who was suppose to explain the care features did not know half of how things worked. Personally I will never deal with this dealership again, nor recomend anyone else to go there.
