Write a reviewI recently purchased a car from CRM Motors Inc in Pelham,
I recently purchased a car from CRM Motors Inc in Pelham, Alabama, and while the experience had its challenges, I’m ultimately satisfied with how things were resolved. I bought an older vehicle, so I didn’t expect it to be perfect, but I did notice a few pre-existing issues after driving it for a short time. After notifying the dealership, the majority of the problems were addressed, which I appreciated. One thing I learned is the importance of understanding the "As Is" policy, which is clearly stated on their vehicles. Initially, I wasn’t fully aware of how it worked, but after an intense and productive conversation with the owner, Chris Ray, I gained a better understanding of their policies and what they’re responsible for. I’m grateful that Mr. Ray took the time to work with me to resolve the main issue. I also want to highlight Whitney Jones, the sales representative who sold me the car. His customer service was sharp, honest, and direct—exactly what I wanted. He was always available to answer my calls and guide me through the process. General Manager Brandon Nathan was also helpful during my discussions with Mr. Ray. While there were some bumps along the way, CRM Motors showed they were willing to help, and I now have a working vehicle that meets my needs. They have a great selection of cars, and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a straightforward car-buying experience. Just be sure to ask questions and understand the "As Is" policy upfront. Overall, I’m glad I gave them a chance.

Awful experience at CRM motors
My experience at CRM motors was awful, sales lady wouldn't really listen to what type of car I wanted, I was so excited to buy a new car for my kids, but this turned out to be a nightmare working with this sales lady. My parents recommend this place to me ( which they offer a recommendation pay, well we have asked sales lady about this 3 times, ignores all my texts). After going up there for the fourth time or so I finally got a chrysler pacifica. Well it started acting up on me and I have texted her many times and called up there to see what I can do and still nothing. Didn't really explain nothing about warranties or much of anything at that, experience was so confusing. And to think I wanted to go back and get me a car for myself not a mom car,but don't think I will.

Nightmare
Bought a GMC Sierra 1500 from CRM in March of 2020, since then it has been in the shop for 60 days total (currently still in the shop). It’s had the motor, the transmission, the catalytic converters, radiator, vacuum pump, rear end leak, and a brake fluid leak. Thank God for the warranty that has paid out $20000 in repairs. No one on-site has been of any help and it wasn’t until it got the owners attention that anything was done. All sorts of promises, none come to fruition. It has been an absolute nightmare. Read down the list of reviews. There are several more like mine.

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Bought 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Power steering failed within 2 days of purchase. Exhaust manifold started leaking within 3 weeks. Found out stud had been broken off in block. Took it back to dealer for repair. Lasted 2 days. Since then alternator failed. Tie rod ends failed. Differential seals failed front and rear. Not even a year from purchase. And I paid a premium over fair market price.......what a waste. Better off shopping elsewhere.

I want to buy, they don't want to sell
Found a truck that meets my needs and began negociating with Keith Wheeler Sales consultant at the dealership, I have been working with Kieth for almost 4 weeks to try and puchase this vehicle. I have made very serious offers to which they have not countered or attempted in any way to close the deal. Each time we communicate by email Kieth signs off with "hope we can do business in the future". It is almost like he dose not want to sell this truck to me for some reason and this gives me the feeling that they are not being honest. I asked for a Car Fax report and they said they cannot provide one. What reputable dealer can't provide a Car Fax? I do not believe they think i am a serious buyer because i live in Texas and am willing to make a great effort to go to Alabama and get this truck but the dealership is making it more difficult every day. At this point I may or may not get the truck and either way I am OK. I just need them to understand and treat me like i am a real buyer willing to pay them for a vehicle. I have purchased several vehicles in my day and This is the worst car dealing I have ever had to do.

Immoral
After purchasing a used truck from CRM in March, it has needed roughly $8000 in repairs, most covered by warranty, but, regardless, a vehicle should never be sold in this condition. The GM, Blake Whisenhunt, hasn’t an ounce of empathy. The truck has been in the shop for a total of 4 weeks out of the 11 I’ve owned it. This review could be so much worse but I’m literally at a loss for words. This has been an incredibly frustrating process, even more so for my pregnant wife. This truck was supposed to help us, not burden us. Please do not shop for a vehicle here.

Terrible
Bought a 2010 Ford F-250 diesel with only a little over 110,000 miles on it in March 2019. The truck is so bad that 2 different Ford dealerships cannot fix it. A couple of weeks after we bought the vehicle, the serpentine belt assembly went out and then the AC went out twice. The truck also apparently has an aftermarket anti theft device hardwired to it that is causing it to become completely disabled/nondriveable half the time. My husband and I lost hundreds of dollars in repairs and rentals not to mention work my husband lost due to issues with the truck. When I contacted CRM back in October they claimed they’d be willing to take it back, when I brought it in they said they “didn’t have enough room on the lot” and that they’d “find another buyer for me.” They never contacted me back after that and when I contacted them finally they told me they “hadn’t heard from anyone.” The truck is still at Ford undriveable and we had to buy a new $43,000 truck just so my husband could continue working. So if you enjoy owing $400 monthly payments on a $20,000 truck that doesn’t work, CRM is your place....

Broke before i could get home
Bought a 2012 F250 Diesel and paid $31,000 for it and another $1995 for what they called a "Great" warranty. On my way home I got a " Failed Air Pressure Sensor" warning and the " Check Engine' light came on. I live about 90 miles from their lot so I went on home and parked the truck until I could get it to a shop. I took it in and was told that the "Check Engine" light was caused by a bad EGR and the repair would be about $1,000. I had the shop file a claim on the warranty that I had bought and it was denied. I called CRM and advised them of the problem. They seemed concerned but in the end they did nothing and even stopped returning my calls. With what i paid for the truck I expected better from them. If you buy from them don't expect any service after the sale.
