DO NOT BUY NOTHING FROM HERE AND PAY CASH….. I worked hard to pay cash for a car I wanted…originally I was just shopping around and seen a 2017 ford edge Sel here so I went to test drive it and fell in love. Well Alton said everything on the car checked out was in great condition. Oil was changed, new spark plugs etc. So I paid 16K out the door. Went in to sign paper work and nothing was explained on what I was signing (my fault) Was never offered an extended warranty to my knowledge but hey why get one when your paying cash right? Figured they would be honest about it. So not even a couple days I noticed oil spots in my yard got under the car and seen it’s leaking oil from the seal so I call take it back they put me in a car to drive called said it was “fixed” well I looked the next day guess what it’s still leaking around the seal took it back for them to “fix” it again and it’s fixed this time fast forward 1 week after having it check engine light came on my husband hooked it up to the scanner and misfire on cylinder 3 coil pack Pop the hood and the bolt that holds the coil pack to the motor is broken off so he goes to change the spark plugs and lord and behold the spark plug was striped out into the motor… (they blamed all this on us) changed all the spark plugs accept that one because it’s striped into the motor the rest were pure black and didn’t look like they had ever been changed so I took it back to ford showing my butt because hey you knew this was a problem and “checked” it out but if you’d done your job then you wouldn’t have missed that right? They charged me $64 to hook it to the scanner when I already told them what was wrong with the car to began with because it was already on a scanner and only code shown was misfire in cylinder 3, So they retapped that plug and I refused to pay $800. They also stated I had other hoses broken under the hood which was a lie because my husband would have seen that including that I had taken photos of under the hood before I taken it and photos of the scanner code shown. Since they done that the car hasn’t been running right ever since. Fast forward to now started running like crap so now it’s throwing 5 codes including misfire on cylinder 3, camshaft sensors and a couple other codes. I wouldn’t even be so mad but I haven’t even had the car a year and it’s pretty much popped on me my mechanic has done everything and nothing has fixed this car yet. Save yourself and go else where to buy a new or used car please!!!

Courteous Staff, Excellent Service
This is my second time here at the service department and it’s been a pleasant experience on both occasions. The lady at the front is so courteous and the gentleman who performed the service on both occasions, is so considerate and does everything to ensure that the service is excellent. I will definitely be coming back.

Horrible Parts Department
I was stunned by the service I received at SANTEE FORD in Manning, SC. I will not be going there again. I called this morning to inquire about a part from them. The guy, Kevin, from the parts' department said he needed the last four of the VIN. I walked outside and told him the VIN. He proceeded to read it back as three D's as in dog. I said no....it is a D as in dog, B as in Boy and D as in dog. He went to put the phone down and put me on hold, but didn't quite put it down fast enough. "F*xxxxx Lady" is what he said VERY clearly as he was trying to put me on hold. Then he tried to over talk me when I asked to speak with whoever was over him. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible service! I don't care if there is a shortage of people to work or not, but employing someone like Kevin doesn't help your business. He needs to have some phone etiquette training.

Quality Employees, greatly appreciated
On the way to Santee Ford, Manning, SC to have my on engine light problems diagnosed, we heard painful meowing from under the chasse of my car. My daughter-in-law went to the back of the car to look under. She heard the cries even louder, but could not coax a crying kitten to come out. Upon arrival at Santee, the wonderful, burly men employed by Santee put the car up on a jack and patiently, kindly encouraged this small, frightened kitten to stick its head out. They gently removed it from the hot chasse of the car. The kitten, very young, was watered, petted, wiped with a damp towel (90 degrees outside) and adopted by an employee in the office. And YES they diagnosed and fixed my engine light problem the same day. I was not charged for the removal of the kitten. Having experienced the fine quality of individuals hired by Santee Ford, Manning, SC, I certainly will return and encourage others to have their automobiles serviced at Santee Ford. Bad business
Brought a car 3 weeks ago and it jerking , whenever the engine get hot. Had it back there twice. And they finally said it’s the clutch. Warranty won’t cover to fix it. Now I had come out my pocket to have it fixed. Never brought a bad car before in my life. I’ll never buy from this dealership again.

Wonderful
Tim , Brad, and the others , My buying experience was top notch. Everyone was so personal . They walked me through the process of setting up my Ford App. , maying sure all my questions were answered before I drove away. They told me if I had any questions about my car , to call and they would help me. I will be back for my service and upkeep of my new Explorer.

Totally disappointed with dealership
My automobile was denied service because the salesman didn't like seeing my boyfriend drive my deceased husband's car . Never received a return call from management. Went back there with him to get it service just to hear the salesman threaten my boyfriend so we left. And still NO return call from management. If there's an issue between them it has nothing to do with me sending my car for service. I'm a paying customer!

Routine Service
I was able to get a next day appointment to have my car serviced. It took less than 30 minutes for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Henry, the mechanic was very nice and informed me of everything that was completed and what may need to be done next service. Marty was also very nice and helpful and checked me out quickly. I will be back.

Oil Change
Slow service very very expensive 45.00 dollars. Never NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME AGAIN. I was there at 7:30 am for my 8:00 0,clock appointment. It took a hour and half and you charged me 45 dollars NO NO NEVER AGAIN

This last visit was a routine service: as always, they underfill the oil by about 1/2 quart. I also had them replace the air filters. The engine filter is tricky to re-fit, so after the service, I checked it. Sure enough, not installed properly, and hold down bolts not tightened. On the positive side, they are friendly, and prompt. These issues are similar to past work and car purchases from them. OK to use them: just be cautious and check their figures and work.
