Write a reviewI purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Select Auto Group in July 2024. I was told the vehicle had been inspected and was in good mechanical shape. So far, I have spent close to $6000 in repairs just getting the vehicle into driving condition.

I am a single, female senior citizen, and bought a used Subaru Forester in February of 2019. I just finished reading some of the reviews of this business, and found that other people have had similar experiences as I have had. Before I made it home in my new car, the check engine light went on. They told me to bring the car back, and they would fix it. They failed, and they refused to refund my money. I contacted a lawyer, and the local government agency associated with bad faith car dealers, and they were “forced” to accommodate me, but not before the car died on Hwy 287. I had it towed to Valley Subaru, and they eventually had it towed back to them. They were supposed to replace the engine, and when I got it back, they told me it had been done, but I would have to have the oil changed every 500 miles! As it turned out, the oil leaked every time I drove it. I was able to unload it, but got only about half of what I paid (and made sure the purchaser knew of the problem!).

I had to purchase a vehicle for my daughter which was an issue because I was out of state. Alan Yarbrough was very helpful in helping me find the right vehicle AND spent the time to walk my daughter through the process. I would recommend this dealership and Alan to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I must admit I was a little skeptical because of some of the bad reviews I had read earlier on here before I decided to pay them a visit. However, everything turned out to be the exact opposite. Joe got my paperwork ready and found me an even better deal on the interest rate at half of what my own bank was offering! I even got a three year warranty. It cost a little more but I am glad he threw it in there. Gave me a piece of mind. He was friendly and made sure I understood everything. As I was driving the vehicle home, I noticed one of the brakes were squeaking and that the key fob wasn't working. He told me to bring it back in and that they would check the brakes and put new batteries in the fob. So far, so good!

Mike and John were very helpful in helping me replace a totaled car. Excellent inventory at fair pricing. I highly recommend shopping at Select Auto. I didn’t realize my son bought his first car there as a teenager getting excellent service too. What a pleasant experience vs the big dealers. On my test drive they were happy to stop at my mechanics to allow for a car inspection.

Shady, won't submit loan paperwork to the bank you are approved with and sit on your paperwork for 9 days. No contact from the dealership until they needed proof of residency despite all my documents having my legal address. Demanded me bring vehicle back after 9 days and only reaching out on that day saying they need something else to have loan funded. Submitted what they requested at 1030 and by 11 was threatened by Alan that if the car wasn't back in an hour he'd call the police to report it stolen. Won't refund down payment and threaten and intimidate you by calling the police to report it stolen. Sheridan Police contacted me and laughed at the accusation when given the true facts. Alan, who's not even a manager called the police without cause, justification or authority. When speaking to the GM John about issue to clarify my vehicle wasn't still considered stolen, he mentioned he could prove his residency with an insurance card if he was in my position. Guess what John, my insurance card I gave you upon delivery of my vehicle had that address, my DL had that address. All my papers had that address. I think it's safe to say I've proven my residency. Yet John refused to apologize about his business willfully attempting to involve the police with a frivolous threat and intimidation. Stay away!

Very unhappy with this dealer. You expect the basic to work in the car or the doors , windows, lights inside the car ... I did not check all the doors yes my fault... This is why car salesman get a bad rap and they should. Only care about their own pocket not the customer! Don’t buy a car from them!!!

How you gonna sell a vehicle that has issues barely 15,000 miles down the Road and upsell a Warranty that doesn’t Cover the Full Repairs Like You Claim. That was a $1,400 addition to the Price of the Vehicle. That Now Has Issues. The Place You Tell People to Get There Car Looked at or Worked on Says that the Warranty Doesn’t Pat Them Squat. So I have to Pay out of Pocket What a Worthless Point of Having a Warranty. Why Don’t Next time you tell people that your insurance won’t cover full cost. Just Trying to get an extra $1400 From People. SHADY BUSINESS!!!!

Got my Audi Q5 from them despite my husband and friends' warning that this looks to be a shady dealership. But I wanted the S line Prestige Audi and the price was reasonable. I got the Audi with a wear-and-tear warranty and paid additional $2k+. After 3 weeks of getting my Audi, the steering wheel pump started failing and I took it to a shop and I was told that my warranty does not cover wear and tear. I called the warranty company, and they did verify that it is not a wear and tear package. I told Mike Aryan, the agent who sold me my car and told him to settle this with the warranty company. He didn't do anything nor did he provide me with additional information. After a month, I didn’t hear from my car loan provider so I decided to call them and was told that my name was incorrect in the documents submitted to them and that they cannot even create my account. I told Mike Aryan again and he blamed the credit union (car loan provider) for making the mistake. The credit union gave back the documents 2 weeks after my loan was approved (Spoiler alert: Mike Aryan made the mistake, not the credit union). Had I not called, my account had not been setup and I would have been liable for late payments. As usual, Mike Aryan denied any wrongdoing, as is expected of any good for nothing crook. This dealership is not worth your time. In my opinion, go somewhere else. They’re not worthy of your business. Since the issues started, he never called to discuss anything nor follow-up, all were just promises to discuss in scheduled calls that never happened. Worst customer service ever. Again, they're not worthy of your business. If ever you do need to deal with them, please verify everything they claim and always keep following up on what is needed from them. Spare yourself of the bad experience. These are the lies that we were told: Lie#1: My husband and i overheard about him mentioning steering wheel pump while he was talking on the phone with the mechanic that does the car checkup. He walked away out of our earshot and when he came back he said, “Your car is in good condition." Lie#2: He said that he’ll give me an extra FOB key “out of his own pocket”. The car initially had only 1. When I brought this up after buying the car, he kept changing the topic. Lie#3: He said to provide me with an emissions coupon (the car is 9yrs old). Mike Aryan never did. The DMV staff even told me, “Your dealership should have provided you with an emissions coupon”. When I brought up all these, Mike Aryan blamed me for not taking responsibility and that he’ll block me. Terrific response. I guess they’ll say whatever they want to close a sale. I can never stress this enough, please avoid this dealership. Never give them business.
