Horrible Experience

The JD Byrider service department in Wilkesbarre is horrible. Very unprofessional and it only seems like they care about collecting a paycheck. Not about the customer satisfaction or needs pertaining to their vehicle. The service manager Adam is horrible. I dropped my vehicle off over 14 times in the last year. Which I get it. Vehicles will have some maintenance issues . I also get that the service department gets super busy. I dropped my vehicle off June 27th and my vehicle sat this whole time until July 10th without anyone making an attempt to look at it. When I called they told me I’m So sorry but we forgot about your vehicle. They ensured me that my Vehicle would get looked at . Can you believe it’s now July 13th and no update . I’ve called to speak to the service manager Adam several times. No call back , no response . On top of that they never answer the phone. If you were a customer .. wouldn’t you want good communication and good quality service when it comes to your vehicle. A rating of 1 is still too high for this location . If I had an option to select ZERO I would. It’s a shame when you have a service manager who doesn’t care and is so nonchalant. His attitude sucks. The Wilkesbarre location can use some more friendly individuals . Eddie in the service department at least he tries to assist the customer and he’s always pleasant.

Hidden fees BS?! Whatta joke?!

1st appointment. Took about 5 hours guy kept walking around talking to other co workers/ customers that were in the office. Didnt have everything for the vehicle we were interested in even though we called and spoke to the guy before we made the 57 minute drive down. And lets talk about hidden fees ?! 17k for a 2014?! Jeez?! $200 every 2 weeks almost $700 a MONTH ?! For 3 months ?! Then almost $500 a mouth for 50+months?! What happened to the 36 months?!?! Bank said because we make more $ during the beginning of the month they are taking it all at once?! . BS. Obvi if we couldve paid almost $500 we most likely wouldnt of traveled 57 minutes to this place for “ 200 every two weeks BS” that was advertised. Bank duude was rude. We agreed to auto pay . Bank guy goes you miss one payment we come repo it no questions asked . Okay buddy . PLUS ! Lets talk about detailing ? The car was NOT CLEAN! Said it wouldve been . But nope guy said it was gonna take longer if we wanted it them to clean it … so your telling me A 2014 … USED … almost 20 THOUSAND DOLLARS! NOT CLEAN !? I mean CRAZY! Not what I expected AT ALL! After all the crazy hidden fees , the 700$ for 3 months; the $500 for 50+ months the 20k for Used dirty a$$ used vehicle with taco bell sauce in the glove department. BUT with ourbad credit after purchasing a home recently & our low down payment they did get us into something which i did appreciate. It was an unexpected expensive experience i was not expecting now i know vehicles are expensive and i was expecting something and i sensed that this car lot was “ too good to be true “ but i went anyways and as of now i have purchased my vehicle so unknown where the future holds And unsure if i will return or refere anyone there for a vehicle at this time.

Predatory lending at its best

20k for a 9k vehicle a perfect example of predatory lending BUYER...BEWARE... at least 25 words do yourself a big favor research your purchase before you dive in sad to see a business endolging in this behavior beyond sad thank you!

Don't go buy a car there? They will tell you many

I would not send my dog to buy a car there. They have a sign that says 99 dollars down. Don't believe it. They have better cars on the side and then back of the building but the salesmen never showed us them.

Very poor attitudes they wanna be on you about payments but could careless about your vehicle being fixed take your vehicle in to get an oil change and get told even when you ask about something concerning that everything is fine everytime until it's last minute then they slap you with the cost of all things you've been questioning about so you don't get hit all at once and make it impossible to fix because how much it cost

Kevin the finance manager is horrible. He is currently...

Kevin the finance manager is horrible. He is currently friends with an american choice employee and called her to tell her I planned on "dumping my car". Not true just couldn't drive a car that didn't run and needed something immediately. I believe he denied my application solely because of his friend. I currently have a 2019 from an actual dealership. Thanks for nothing is byrider.
