I was able to conduct the entire transaction with Alex M over the phone and by text. Great deal and no surprises.. it was worth the 90 mile drive from... Mass. I came in, signed the papers, picked up the keys and thanks Alex. Couldn't have been happier with the purchasing experience for my new MDX.

Arrived 9am for 90 min max job for a recall I arrived back 3pm job not even started had to wait 1 hr 45 min extra then they give me my car damaged front... bumper basically denied photographer gone home wanted me to wait for car wash eh hello car there since 9am basically dismissed me.very unhappy with serice will not be going back R F..

I've been to this dealer for service many times before and switched to it from the other option in lower Westchester where I'd purchased the car, and where... the service itself was substandard (the other place was very cramped, and they actually damaged the body on the brand new car and they always close early!) I made an appointment this go round two weeks out, which was the first available date for a B1 service. For the first time ever, since I had an early meeting in the city, I opted to do the early drop off. That was the mistake. I dropped the car at 7 a.m. and hustled to catch the 7:19 at Larchmont. The valet had just arrived and was setting up, and he took my key. Well guess what, no one even looked at my car, nor had it even been logged in, until I called to check on it at 3 p.m. They had to go and find it at that point. So now they took a look and now the car needs a routine diagnostic (for which I will be charged with no give back when I opt for additional service...what ever happened to "we charge for the diagnostic but that comes back to you when you do the service here"?) which cannot be done until tomorrow because the technicians have gone home for the day. Now I'm scrambling to adjust my schedule tomorrow to accommodate for work plans without the car. I didn't sense any sympathy. The service quality here in the past was fine in my experience. I'd worked with Vanessa in the past but the reservation for service this time was assigned to someone named Jose Sabala. Honestly, I don't need a "personal" account rep. I just wanted the car serviced within a day. I shouldn't have to babysit a car dealership's service team and call to be sure they had the car and were going to service it. I had an appointment that I'd confirmed and I gave the key to a member of the service team. The oversight is on them and they should make it up. I've had much better luck when I take a day off from work and wait for service. Unfortunately, the waiting area isn't really optimal for doing work, so I kind of feel like I need to burn a vacation day--but really, should that be necessary? And the other downside to waiting is that they make note that you are waiting and start sending texts inviting you upstairs to the showroom to look at new cars. Don't do the unattended early drop off, just don't. And if you leave the car, even for a full 12-hours, set your calendar to remind you to call them about an hour after you drop off to be sure they're looking at your car. Out of sight is out of mind!
