xtremely disappointed with my experience at Lexus of Larchmont. What started as a seemingly straightforward car purchase turned into a frustrating ordeal that revealed questionable business practices. After reaching an agreement on an out-the-door (OTD) price with salesperson Justin Deenihan and Sales Manager Manny, I was shocked to receive an overnight contract with $3,000 mysteriously added to the price, along with incorrect tax calculations and additional undisclosed fees. They also stated they could backdate the L/Certified paperwork to allow the vehicle to qualify for the program. When questioned about these discrepancies, they attempted to walk back previously agreed-upon discounts. Check reviews on the various car sales apps and you'll find our review is not an anomaly. Their refusal to allow a pre-purchase inspection of the vehicle was particularly concerning and raises red flags about their transparency. This level of service falls far below what one expects from a Lexus dealership. Their tactics are reminiscent of a dubious used car lot rather than a luxury car dealer. Save yourself the headache and seek out a more reputable Lexus dealer who honors their commitments and operates with integrity. The bait-and-switch pricing tactics and lack of transparency make this dealership impossible to recommend. Will add photos of the different contracts later. RE BUSINESS RESPONSE: We never spoke with David so we understand the need for him to regurgitate the misinformation provided by his sales team. There were no missed deadlines only high pressure sales tactics with moving xxxxx by the dealership. A request to inspect a vehicle (the same day) is not unreasonable. It was our decision to walk away. Vehicle re-posted for sale as formerly L/Certified.

My salesperson Paolo Beauplan was excellent! He is very patient and knowledgeable. I really appreciated his honesty. I definitely would recommend his services at Lexus. True Class! Paolo and Lexus gets 5 stars from me!

This is my first time trying the Costco Auto Program in

This is my first time trying the Costco Auto Program in buying my first brand new car. My first time buying a brand new car was daunting because of the terrible experiences I've heard that people had in purchasing a vehicle through a car dealership as there's many tricks and games played on the sales floor. I was educated with many of the games played and was ready to roll the dice in my journey in buying a new car. However, my experience was far from that. I signed up online via the Costco Auto Program and was contacted immediately the very next day by Cassidy Hernandez (Business Development Representative) from Ray Catena Lexus of Larchmont who assisted me in a brand new vehicle I was interested in. In addition, I also received an email & text message from Bob Pellecchia (Sales & Leasing Consultant). Cassidy and I spoke over the phone and she confirmed the discount provided by the Costco Auto Program and promptly provided the Costco Member-Only Price Sheet via email for me to review. Bob texted me right after if I had any further questions and we got on the phone for the out the door number as I knew this is the car I wanted (color, trim, interior, model). Bob was 100% transparent with his final out the door number from Day 1. Also, I knew his out the door number was extremely competitive and aggressive compared to others with the Costco Auto Program discount. There were absolutely no games played or high pressure sales tactics. No bogus or hidden fees. He made me feel at ease with my purchase of the brand new 2024 Lexus RX350H Premium Plus. He provided me with simple answers to my questions and I slept on it for 1 night before providing him an answer to put down a refundable deposit on the vehicle I wanted to purchase. The next day I called and let him know I am ready to put down the refundable deposit and would like to pick it up the coming weekend (Saturday). He emailed me the draft Vehicle Purchase Agreement with the out the door number that we discussed. The entire purchase experience has been amazing and very straightforward. He provided the utmost excellent new car buying experience! He is truly a sales professional, extremely knowledgeable, respectful with excellent car buying experience in mind. There was no stress whatsoever. The day before pick up Bob contacted me in advance to let me know things are running a little late due to it being the end of the month sales and the dealership was extremely busy and prepping my new car would be ready by 11AM instead of 9AM as discussed previously. I understood as a customer. He was very professional and apologetic regarding the delay as I could have showed up at 9AM without knowing and which would decrease the buying experience by waiting. My family and I got there a little after 11AM and we instantly recognized our brand new car with a nice big red bow on top. We finally met Bob in person and he showed us our brand new car and helped us take a few pictures. He also provided quite a few free items: Ray Catena Lexus bear for my son, (2) stainless steel thermal cups, a cap for my son and a foldable cargo organizer. I inspected it from top to bottom for about an hour. He was very patient and understanding of my inspection that I performed. Brandon James (Technology Specialist) was introduced to me by Bob to teach me about the technology on the vehicle as I was coming from a 2013 vehicle which is a huge change. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional and has client experience satisfaction in mind as well. I took the car for a test drive and everything was great. After everything checked out, I was ready to execute the sale with all the paperwork required and drive it off the lot! The experience was amazing and we would wholeheartedly endorse Ray Catena Lexus of Larchmont and especially Bob Pellecchia, Brandon James and Cassidy Hernandez to anyone looking for a car and truly see them in action to live up to Lexus Experience Amazing!!!

I picked up an RZ450 last week.

I picked up an RZ450 last week. My sales professional was Danny Piao. He was respectful, courteous and very patient. Ray Catena runs a first quality showroom. I have a choice of multiple Lexus dealers in my area. I chose to give my business to this dealership Danny is an outstanding sales person and will work tirelessly make the customer happy. I highly recommend him if you are in the market for a Lexus.

My wife is ready to trade in her RX 450h for a newer

My wife is ready to trade in her RX 450h for a newer model. I found a used RX 450h at Ray Catena Lexus of Larchmont, NY offered for internet sale. It had the colors and options my wife wanted, so we asked for a sales appointment and were given one with a sales person who contacted us. We explained we were trading in a car and would pay cash for the difference. When asked, we supplied the VIN and mileage, along with a description of the optional features and packages. We stated several times via email that we wanted to drive down, swap the MA plates, and drive back in our "new" car. We didn't receive any acknowledgement. As the day of our appointment neared, my wife washed, vacuumed, and cleaned out the car. She also went to her bank and got a bank check, extra cash to cover additional fees, and she located her MA title to sign the car over. The afternoon before our appointment, the sales person sent us an email that the car was sold with no explanation or apology. We were very upset. An immediate apology and admission of a mistake would have put out the fire. An offer to take care of us if we found another used car we liked on any of their other lots would have been nice. Instead we were patronized and attacked. "It appears there were several instances where our requests for information and commitments were not met as smoothly as we would have hoped. I understand that our insistence on certain details, such as your phone number and deposit, may have caused inconvenience" The above quote is from the owner and is totally false. We were not asked for a phone number-check your records. We were not asked for a deposit- again, check your records. All contact was via email. These are verifiable facts. We would have gladly provided all information to create a quick, smooth sale. Subsequently we were offered an opportunity to speak with the general sales manager. We declined. What's he going to do, unsell the car? The owner, in summary, states: "We respectfully acknowledge our differing perspectives." His perspective seems to be it's all our fault. Our perspective is important, and should be recognized. We are the customers and we had a horrible experience at a Lexus dealership.
