    I had a 7:30 am appointment for a simple oil change, and arrived at 7:10 am and was the first vehicle parked outside the closed bay doors. When the doors... opened at 7:30 am, I drove in and was directed into the customer service area to check in. I had to wait quite a while before I was able to speak with a customer service representative as they were all busy with other people. When I was finally served, I was told that it would be about 2 hrs before I could be on my way! When I told the tech I had a 7:30 am appointment, he indicated that there were several other customers who got there before me. When I pointed out to him that this was not true - that I had arrived at 7:10 am and was the first vehicle at the doors and then the first vehicle to drive in, he simply shrugged. Apparently an appointment time means nothing to this dealership. And then the service area manager tried to claim that I didn't get there until 8:15 am, which is simply not true. I don’t like the way this dealership conducts business and I sure don’t like the distortion of the facts by the Service Manager. Being new to Charlotte, I can guarantee I will never go to this dealership again. Ever.

    I purchased my car at Capital Ford of Charlotte in January 2018 with an extended warranty. I have had my 2016 Ford Fusion for 5 months now. The last 2... months have been the worst experience of my life. First my AC goes out. I take it to the shop and it already has Dye in it. So I take it to Capital Ford after having my car for a day they tell me I need to pay $700 to get if fixed but they can give me a discount and only charge me $300. I passed on that deal and got it fixed myself. Yesterday 06/28/18 my car broke down in the middle of 85N at 5:00pm. I was scared to death. I was able to turn my car back on and make it to the closest exit. I called a tow truck and had it towed to my mechanic. The error code that came up was “steering assist fault”. My mechanic says I need a new Rack Companion. I called Capital Ford and I tell them what is going on. The guy in service tells me he’s never heard of that code before. That’s funny because when I looked it up it’s a known problem with Fords. I tell him that I really need help and I need my car fixed ASAP. He tells me to call the nearest Ford Dealership to me. I purchased my car from Capital Ford..I’ve spent hours in Capital Ford so why would I want to go somewhere they don’t even know my name? Not only would I never buy a Ford again but I would not go to Capital Ford of Charlotte ever again. In my time of need and confusion about what to do, they did nothing but point me in another direction. The worst customer service ever!!

    Went looking for a used truck, found one for 34000, started my first offer at 30000 and these people laughed in my face , pretty much said I was stupid,... never in my life have i been laughed at for putting a 30000 offer on a used vehicle,will never come back here again , bout a vehicle brand new when it was young ford back in 2002 and had the best car buying experience ever, man how capital on ford has destroyed this place, will never be back

    Made an appointment to have a gas pedal response issue evaluated and indicated I would wait for the car to be serviced as we live 1.5 hrs. away. After... waiting FOUR HOURS they had not pulled the car into the service area. When I asked my service advisor Mr. Dylan Mitchel when the car would be finished he responded in a very defensive and unprofessional manner. Waited another hour and vehicle was returned. Claimed they could not duplicate the problem but mileage indicated they never test drove the vehicle. I spent 8hrs. total time to get problem fixed and problem is still there. Total waste of time, combined with incompetent service. Will avoid in the future and suggest you do also. P.S. Capital Ford would not publish this review on their web site. Is that where their high ratings come from?

    I recently purchased by first new car at Capital Ford of Charlotte. My salesman Chance was incredibly helpful and met my every need. He listened to my... budget and taste and worked with me so I went home with my beautiful red 2017 Ford Fiesta that I absolutely love!! I would definitely return to buy a car from them again in the future as well as recommend them to anyone in the market for a new car.

    I had an awesome experience at Capital Ford in Charlotte and there’s really nowhere else I would go! If you want a FUN, LOYAL, HONEST, and KIND salesman,... then please do yourself a favor and ask for Chance Walser. From the moment I walked up to the building to the moment I drove the car off the lot, I can’t tell you how awesome my experience was, and it wasn’t all sunshine all the time but he helped me through it and I can’t thank him enough for that.
