Absolutely the worst place when it comes to paperwork or customer service. The temporary plates on the car we bought expired and we're still trying to chase someone down to get our plates. You're gonna get the "oh he's in the other building" or " I don't handle that, you have to speak to someone else ( who isn't available and never calls you back). They might know how to sell, but don't rely on them to get your paperwork straight or on time. BTW, we had to have two tires repaired within a week of purchasing the car, slow leaks....

This is our second purchase from Richard Catena and both were handled professionally and without any drama. We compared cars from various local dealerships and online sources before committing to R. Catena. Vinny made an initial follow-up call and we provided all information with respect to the car we wanted and our financial information. In the span of 24 hrs we spoke to the finance department and had all the paperwork approved. The car was ready once we arrived for pickup and our daughter couldn't be happier. Bought a 2007 E from them .they were great ,we delt with John who is very cool for an older guy ,lol only kidding John ! Anyway we started with John and ended up finishing with Peter V who also was great , I highly recommend , the cars they have are beautiful ,no need to hit 5 different dealers ,John has all the great ones under 1 roof , Peter V made the paper work process very very easy ,and of course when I got home I had the car checked by ny local mechanic and he was very very impressed with the car ,super clean and for the $$ it was a great price ! Pete was awesome and we got into basically our dream car at an insanely low price. While it may feel a bit weird to buy a car from a wholesale dealership, in a warehouse in north Jersey as-is, we had no problems whatsoever and got into a great car, a 2009 Prius. The car was in great shape, some dings but structurally and mechanically sound and very clean. One caution would be to bring your own mechanic because you can't take the car to one to be checked out unless they have enough staff that day, on our day they didn't. My husband and I really honestly enjoyed our interactions with our sales guy, Pete. He may be selling used cars but he wasn't overtly trying to hustle. We left feeling respected and professionally taken care of, something that is very rare in the car industry. We have already recommended this place to several friends and given that it is almost 2 hours away from our home, that says something! We would definitely shop with them again. +1!

I discovered the 2011 Audi Q7 Prestige TDI online. I sent an information request to the dealer and Peter V responded. We had a more in-depth phone conversation about the Q7 and the vehicle I was planning on trading in. We arranged an appointment. I traveled 4-1/2 hours down to the dealership. I then met sales associate Will outside their facility. All vehicles are stored indoors in a nicely maintained heated building. I was impressed with the quality of their inventory. Will and I test drove the Q7 around the area while a coworker assessed the value of my Ford F-150 King Ranch. Soon after we came to an agreement and I purchased the Q7. All financing and extended warranty paperwork was completed on site. I had a temporary plat for around 3-weeks until my state registration was mailed to me. I was hesitant at first on buying from a wholesale dealer, but this was a positive experience and I will purchase from them again and I would highly recommend them. Thank you Pete V and Will!!!

My sales associate was William . I was in the market for Mercedes found it at Richard Catena Auto Whole sale at a great price. The car was just as described . Drove down test drove it and was out the door in 1 hr. I would rate the dealer as outstanding.
