Okay, I normally don't have any complaints at this

Okay, I normally don't have any complaints at this dealership, but seriously, xxx! The General Manger just called a meeting with all the service staff while there is a waiting room of people waiting for their vehicles being serviced! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I should add that Tracy and the service staff here are awesome and the reason I utilize this dealership for service. It's the manager who needs a lesson in customer service. The service staff gets five out of five stars.

Get in writing estimate prior to work!

$800.00 for coolant and transmission flush?? $300.00 were labor cost for a task that I was told would tale about 1.5 hrs but I was there over 2 hrs! Rough estimates on various site were less than $300 thru a dealership that I found out after the fact! The only good thing about the service deptmt is Tracy, and unfortunately I will not be back to see her smile and friendly spirit!

In any ratings, the factual events and data matter.

In any ratings, the factual events and data matter. In this review, the key point is the attendant's behavior and the scheduling problem in which the dealership tends to ignore the customer's time. For a top-dollar new car, you would expect decent service. We bought two cars, a 2017 and a 2021. Of course, cashing out was fast and speedy. But the problem shows up at the Service Department, the most important factor of owning a car, maintenance. The Kicks model came with a slight wind noise from the passenger side door while driving. When I reported it at the first oil change, the response from the shop was it will settle eventually. But it just got worst. After the third oil change, I asked for a schedule for this problem to be looked at. The attendance at the time gave a hint that the Nissan Engineer will be on site on a given date, so I accepted that date. When I arrived at the given time, 8 AM, on the scheduled date, the other attendant indicated that the other attendant does not know about the shop schedule, only the oil change schedule, so she took my car as a drop-off, rather than a scheduled one, and told me that there are three more cars ahead of me, and I have to wait. Oh, by the way, this dealer does not offer any rides, so you have to have a ride back home or from home. When I made an inquiry as to why I had to wait for three other cars ahead of me, since my car was scheduled, the response was: "well your call is a drop-off, and has to wait in line." when I stated: "then what is the scheduling for, isn't that supposed to hold a window for my car to be worked on?" the response was: I understand you are frustrated, would you like to have a coffee? I am so sorry that you are upset, I only work here." she kept repeating the same statement. I repeated again, that I am not frustrated, just asking what is the difference between a drop-off and a scheduled repair. The attendant got upset and said I only work here, let me get the service manager. Well, the service manager simply ignored what I indicated and explained to him about a drop-off vs. scheduled repair. My wife had to be late at work because she had to come by and pick me up, of course, the dealer did not care. I called after 3 hours, and no one responded to the call, and have to leave a message, still waiting for a response, to let me know what the status of the car is. Since the wind and noise are coming from the seat belt module, it made the problem a safety issue. So I called Nissan and filed a ticket for investigating this problem with the wind in the seat belt module. The bottom line, the service department is not worth buying a car from this dealership. Remember, buying a car takes a day or so, but maintenance is a long way before you exchange the car. I have bought 5 cars from Al Seara, in the past three decades, and the level of service has never been this low as it is in Nissan's service department. As a matter of fact, I exchanged the first Nissan car for a Honda from Al Seara. After 4 hrs, I called, and Tracy indicated that no mechanic has yet looked at the car! My car in spite of having a scheduled repair at 8 am, still sitting there with no prospect of being looked at. That was the message, and Tracy does not know when a mechanic would be available. When I asked why I was scheduled to bring the car at 8 am, the response was that the given time was just for drop-off time, not actual work.

This has been the best car buying experience I ever had

This has been the best car buying experience I ever had with Sales Consultant Christopher Wright at Grand Blanc Nissan and I have bought several vehicles in the past, but I never felt such a sense of belonging or connection to my salesperson and the entire dealership team. Christopher was not only patient with my indecisiveness, he actually was listening to everything I told him I wanted and needed. Let me explain, I had a certain budget that I had to stay within, but wanted all the bells and whistles of any having a brand new car. So he gave me options, he had a plan (A)and a Plan (B), I just didn’t know it! I left the dealership with everything I wanted and more with a manageable monthly payment! So KUDOS to Christopher Wright and the entire Grand Blanc Nissan Team! The BEST car buying experience I ever had!

No refundable pending test drive

Liz was very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a Nissan Leaf and wanted to put down a deposit pending a test drive. Unfortunately they don't do that.

It took some effort to get the vehicle we wanted, but...

It took some effort to get the vehicle we wanted, but perseverance on my part and that of my wife saw it happen. After much due diligence, I decided that perhaps the Sentra could best fit our leasing objectives. With the wonderful assistance and determination by Chris, we got the color of choice and of course, the car. Going through the final process with Todd was an added bit of satisfaction. He was there for questions, and he explained the process well. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to this dealership. I wasn't too keen on three trips from Owosso to achieve my objective, but it is now worth it. Marv Sanders

Aims to please there customers. Will try very hard to accommodate what you want in pricing, packaging and out of pocket expensiveness. I was sold a NISSAN ROUGE in 2020 by Jessie. Both he and the Store Manager made my Leasing experience, hassel and stress free. The staff were quick to wait on me & treated me like family. I would definitely recommend buying or leasing from this Dealer! Kendra Jenkins

Beware of the Add-On Charges. Rude Treatment!

After contacting them regarding a used car and explaining our budget, we were encouraged to drive nearly an hour to negotiate the deal. We (and our salesman) were keep waiting by the Manager for more than 30 minutes. He added on a $500 fee and ended up at a price OVER the advertised price on a used car that had been on their lot for 6 months. These guys are disreputable. Stay away! The worst car buying experience I've ever had.

Tajuana Wilson, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We regret that you feel you were not accommodated. I assure you we went out of our way to try and get you a vehicle for your budget. We upgraded you to a 15 year newer vehicle and explained that when you purchased low budget vehicles that it is always a good idea to protect your investment with a service contract, which you declined. The car you test drove and loved drove great when you took delivery. Unfortunately as a car ages it deteriorates and at some point the owner needs to ensure they are doing all their scheduled maintenance. We never take belongings, trust me we don't want all the clutter. We are not a storage unit and once you trade in a vehicle that does not run, we remove it off our lot if the customer doesn't retrieve their belongings in a timely manner. We hope you have a great day!
