Thank you Valerie for taking great care of Lucky and getting him on the road, we salute you. Only concern I have is Chevrolets reliability, I have tremendous faith in the brand after the 'Check engine light' at 40k miles

My husband and I have been researching vehicles for the last couple of months in order to find a vehicle that was more suited for our family's needs. We finally found a nice, used 2023 traverse at Sterling McCall Chevrolet, which is about 45-50 minutes from where we live. When we arrived we were not greeted by anyone and actually had to ask for someone to help us with what we were looking for. We were directed to Javier. He was very nice, but seemed like he had almost no experience. During negotiations, he presented us with an itemized list to break down the cost of the vehicle. We noticed pretty quickly that there were 2 add on packages. One for a clear coat for the paint, which he really couldn't explain but it was pretty self explanatory for $1495. And another "Blackout package" for $1995. We did not want either package but we're told that we couldn't take them off but they would drop $1000 off. No explanation of what the blackout package was other than to say that he "thought" it was the wheels and bowties including the ones on the front and back of the vehicle, but he wasnt sure. A quick google and the chevrolet website basically confirmed most of that. We reluctantly agreed and scheduled an appointment to bring it in. We were told that it would be cleaned before we drove it off the lot. It wasn't. There was something sticky in and around the center console. No big deal, but when buying a new car, you'd think cleaning it would be a priority. We set up an appointment to bring it in on Monday, and were told it wouldn't be ready until Wednesday, they did notnoffer a loaner, but did offer to Uber us home. When dropping off the vehicle, at first they acted as if they had no idea what we were talking about. In fact, they didn't know our salesman and said that they "get new salesman like every week." We finally were able to speak to Javier, whom again, was very nice but still seemed like he had no idea what to do. He still couldn't tell us what all would be done. Then went to speak with his manager and said just the wheels and bow ties. We negotiated also having the front and back emblems replaced with black emblems as well as the lettering on the sides of the vehicle. We were assured not once, but twice that they would do it. They again said they would clean the inside. It wasn't ready on Wednesday, but was on Thursday. We picked it up today, barely had a chance to speak to anyone and they only did the wheels and still didn't clean it out. This is at least our 4th time purchasing a vehicle from different dealerships and this one was the worst experience so far. They were not transparent with costs. Acted as if our business didn't matter to them, and did not complete what they said they would. I would not recommend going here. And further proof of that is the fact that I also placed a review through Google 5 days ago and still have not heard from the dealership despite the manager saying someone would contact us. Bottom line, if you're going to basically force someone to include a certain package in the purchase of their vehicle, make sure they get what they are actually paying for. Because it really just seems like a way to get one over on the customer by making them pay for options they don't need without actually delivering.
