I would not only NEVER recommend this company

I would not only NEVER recommend this company to my friends, but I would also strongly advise that they NEVER USE Bill Talley Ford for service. They are liars and don't care about customer service. The reason is: I took my car to Bill Talley Ford to replace an air bag that was recalled. The service representative told me that it was hard to get to the air bag without removing the wood grained panel on the dash board. They also said that the panel could break BUT IF IT DID THEY WOULD REPLACE THE BROKEN PANEL. Since they said they would replace the wood grain panel if it broke I told them to go ahead and put the new air bag in. Sure enough, the wood grain panel broke. I have been trying for about 2 years to get Bill Talley Ford to fix the wood panel they broke. I have been in at least twice to talk to the manager and made numerous telephone calls. Finally, the manager told me that Ford was no longer makes that wood grain panel for my car (which is a 2007 but in really good condition). He said they couldn't do anything else and that I should call the Ford Home office. I did that and was also told that they could not replace the wood panel. After being patient, I finally gave up on Bill Talley Ford. I recently got another recall, this time for the driver's side air bag. I took took my car to another dealer in the area and they said they could replace the driver's side air bag AND GET A WOOD GRAIN PANEL for the passenger side that Bill Talley Ford said they could not get. The new dealership got that wood panel part IN ONE DAY! So, first BILL TALLEY FORD LIED about replacing the part if it broke and then LIED again when they said they could not get the part because my car was too old. So, I spent $1,8oo, out of pocket, to get the passenger side wood grain panel put in. I'm thinking seriously about hiring a lawyer and suing BILL TALLEY FORD.

NO ONE AROUND.

Went to other Ford Dealers. never returned. Thought they were classier than that. Bill Talley made me so mad.,, Sales,what. Live near by and pass weekly.

Had the piece covering the undercarriage replaced.

I had an issue at my last oil change. JD called me and took care of everything without me even asking. It involved ordering a part and calling me when it came in to have it replaced. He did exactly what he said he would do. I very much appreciate him taking the time to fix my issue, and treating me as a valued customer. Not many places do that these days and its much appreciated. I will continue to have my Explorer serviced at this location.

Still waiting for repair on my door!!

Took my car in on Sept 3, part was to be ordered. Went back on Sept 9 waited 2 1/2 (missed from work) and they ordered the wrong part. Called Chris Smith, Gen Mgr the next day. They ordered new part and picked my car up on Sept 19th. Just got my car back and a phone call that the new part was once again the wrong part. Said they will order new parts and pick my car up Monday or Tuesday. So needless to say my car is still not fixed and I am looking into going to Richmond Ford West for my car needs

DO NOT TRUST BILL TALLEY FORD

DO NOT TRUST BILL TALLEY FORD . They got caught in a lie saying they performed a Safety Recall on my car . When i took it to another repair facility , they printed off proof from the cars computer that this was not performed. BILL TALLEY FORD asked me to bring it back in again and they would look at it again , but still said it is fine . THATS WHEN I SHOWED THEM THE PRINTOUT FROM ANOTHER FACILITY WHICH SHOWED IT WAS NOT DONE . They Quickly asked me for a copy and said they will get back to me on it . Now for months , they have said “ talk to FORD , because we closed out the recall . This is a Loss of steering recall . And my car STILL TO THIS DAY looses electronic steering and displays it on the dash . It took them 4 months to get me an appointment in there to perform the recall and then did absolutely nothing. HUGE LIFE SAFETY CONCERN

Fairly major damage within 6 weeks

So I bought a 2015 Ford Edge from here on 5/31/19. I noticed days later that there were paint scuffs all over the car. The reply from them, "nothing we can do". 6 weeks later the lift gate massively malfunctioned. Because i didn't drive the hour back to their location the reply was "nothing we can do". I get the feeling that if i did bring the car there the response would be "nothing we can do". Don't go here if you don't have to.

2017 ford escape engine replacement.

Car has been there 1 month and still not finished. Said waiting for gasket. That is what they said s week ago. Said would be ready that day or next. That was a week ago. Car has been there for at least a month waiting for parts or other excuses

No Service

After receiving several notices and warnings to have my airbag recall scheduled, I called the Ford 800 number and was told the parts were not yet available. I checked back every month. In April I called and was told that the parts were now available for my Ranger. I called Bill Talley to schedule my recall servicing. The lady said they did not have parts for it; did not know if or when they would have parts; told me to keep checking back? She did not have a clue. I immediately called Sheehy of Ashland and was told the parts would be ordered for my vehicle and to be sure they were there we should schedule one month out. We did, they did and I was treated with utmost professionalism, given a ride to work, picked up from work and was done by lunch. Can't say that about Bill Talley Ford.

Sorry Truck is Sold

Called Cindy before leaving DC area to confirm truck was still available and confirm closing time. Drove 90 minutes each way to be told 90 minutes later truck sold days ago. Will not do business again.

my 2013 FORD FIESTA

THE dealership was kind and supportive. They alleviated me of my fears about the credit and buying process. They were not condescending and answered my questions about the new technology on cars. I am 68 years old and a woman so a lot of the new advances on cars, I am not familiar with. These guys are the kindest and most patient people I have dealt with. Services are prompt and also private if need be.
