Excllent experience

Kelly Davis got us the payment we needed, answered any questions we had and overall a great experience! He got us a warranty and did better than the other dealerships that we were looking at for the same car we got here. Super friendly and great to work with.

Short changed!

I paid cash for a car here and instead of being given my change which was 30 bucks I was told a check would be mailed to me. That was feb. 16th and today is aug.6th no check no returned emails. Poor business!

Terribly Crooked

Service was poor. Check engine light came on 2 days after purchasing the car so I took it into a reputable mechanic. My mechanic then told me that the catalytic converter, exhaust system, manifold, muffler, and everything in between needed to be replaced. The total cost of the repairs was going to be $2000. Mechanic also said that the dealership had to have known about the catalytic converter problem because there was an improperly cleared OBD code still in the system. As a college kid, I barely had enough money to pay for the car itself, let alone an extra $2000 on top. I would not recommend this dealership unless you want to be ripped off.

$2000 Repair needed 3 days after purchase

The service there was okay- not too good but not terrible. The problem came after I got the car off the lot. The check engine light came on while driving and I took it in to the family mechanic (has been with us for 15 years and very reputable/fair), my mechanic then proceeded to tell me that the catalytic converter, exhaust, manifold, and other components all needed to be replaced. He said the the dealership had to have know about the cat converter because there was an improperly cleared OBD code still on the system. None of these problems were disclosed by the dealer beforehand. They managed to effectively rip off both a college student and her USAF veteran father. Bottom line is: do not go here. I would sue them if I could.

Online Buyers Beware / In Person Buyers Rejoice

I had mixed results with this dealership. If you’re looking to buy a car online or at least negotiate online, this isn’t the dealership for you. I submitted 6 inquiries, submitted a loan application, called in 4 times and only got 1 phone call in return, after filling out a loan application and after making 4 phone calls myself. I was promised several things during that time that went unfulfilled. It seems like there has been high turnover in sales reps lately and their online inquiry forms do not go to any of their agents. Ultimately, the deal they were offering on the car I wanted was too good to pass up, so I decided to go into the dealership and try my luck in person. Especially since when I was speaking to a human on the phone, I did feel relatively taken care of. When I arrived I was greeted and taken care of very well. James was my sales rep and he did a good job making me feel comfortable. I did have the displeasure of dealing with Bre the sales manager. Seeing several posts online stating similar bad experiences with online negotiations, and their responses from the dealership I left a negative review in hopes of being taken more seriously, It did not yield any positive results. In fact when I went in to purchase the vehicle I wanted, Bre printed off my review and told me she didn’t want to work with me since I wrote the review. While It was 1 star and I didn’t recommend the dealership, nothing I wrote was dishonest, and was genuinely good feedback for them. Bre was more interested in arguing with me, than taking my feedback and constructive criticism and fixing the issues. And as a manager, to seek to argue about something rather than to take care of the customer seemed backwards in a sales role. It was a long day at the dealership and I must say that James did a great job with me. If I needed information he worked to get It for me. My trade in didn’t go how i would have liked It to have gone, but per the circumstances I feel treated fairly with my trade negotiations. All the numbers made perfect sense and buying the car I wanted was a smooth, but lengthy process. My favorite part of the day was meeting with Chris the financial guy, he was tremendous, professional and very good at his job. I felt unbelievably comfortable while in his office. My one last gripe about this dealer is that while there was no availability of online negotiations, I witnessed all the sales reps sitting at their desks doing literally nothing for extended periods of time. Seems like they could have been chasing online leads, but that wasn’t the case at all. Very disheartening to see the clear availability of sales reps, and lack of interest in supporting online customers. To sum up my experience at MAC, if you must negotiate online this is not the dealership for you. If you want to negotiate in person this is a good place to go. I didn’t like my experience with Bre, but I also probably started off on the wrong foot, she’s probably helpful and friendly if you don’t make the first impression of writing a bad review. James was absolutely phenomenal and seemed like the only real salesman in the office, the rest of the sales team seemed like they’d rather be elsewhere. There didn’t seem to be as much sales pressure as other dealers but I’d say that might be due to a lack of motivation. The facilities were nice, not amazing but I did feel like I was at a dealership that valued appearance. I wasn’t pressured at any point to do something that made me uncomfortable, and I was given good information while I was there. My final statement would be, go see James. He will take care of you.
