Service Manager

Was not informed about battery test fee prior to service, found this out on the way to pick the vehicle up. Got into a heated discussion with the service manager. Finally agreed to pay fee, looked over bill and found a shop item fee on there, asked for an explanation what it was. Got told we charge everybody this, got heated an said a few choice words, service manager came out of the office with an attitude and said they would take care of the bill for us not to bring our car back there ever again. The ladies at the desk were very nice, their guys in the parts department are very knowledgeable. Guess we'll have to find a Mitsubishi dealer in Charleston or elsewhere.

worst experience ever,

We purrchased a used Ford Explorer, after 5 hours in the finiance office, noone will call you back after leaving messages from salesperson, finance personal even the general manager. We had an issue with the vehicle had to take to service, after getting a quote for repairs went to pick up the vehicle and the price was over $300.00 more than quote. Very unsatified with the dealership and would not recommend this dealership for anyone. We have traded with the Ford dealership over 40 years, this will be our last.

Best dealership and service techs

I had a issue another dealership good not fix and mountaineer ford fixed the issue and saved me quite a bit of money. I recommend Mountaineer Ford to anyone.

2019 Roush Mustang

I give it one star because this thing will not let me give zero stars. I dropped my car off on 7/15/20 for a 7/17/20 appointment date. I paid cash for the car, it has 4K miles on it, and it needs a clutch and flywheel. Today is 8/27/20 and my car is still not repaired. Over the course of the past seven or so weeks, I have been misled, lied to, the folks in the front blame it on the folks in the back. The folks in the back blame it on being short staffed or not having qualified mechanics, etc... My first several calls to check on the status were professional on my part, but after being told it "was on the rack" or "be ready tomorrow" and then finding out it hadn't been looked at I find it difficult to continue that courtesy. When challenged on what one individual told me - his response "do you think I make my responses up or pull them out of a jar and read them to you" - "that is what service told me". I have zero confidence in anything I am told from the service department. I would like to point out, employees there lying to one another, lack of qualified help, or, after finally looking at the car and having to order parts is not my problem. It is yours. If you aren't able to service the cars you sell timely, you should fix your problem or sell fewer cars. If I get a response to this, I will not call a number in attempts to "make it right" or make me feel better. I just want the $70k car I bought, from you, with a warranty, repaired so I can drive it and to be told the truth when I inquire about the status. Those are not an unreasonable asks.

Poor Service

I bought a truck from them in January 2018. Earlier this spring I took it in for service and to let them know that the rear window glass wasn’t working. The tech checked it and said they needed to order a new glass and that it was covered. I never heard from them and took it back for the next service and asked about it and they said the tech quit and that he never ordered it. They also said it was out of warranty, though it was in warranty at the time. By then there was an issue with the sunroof, which I was informed was covered. After two weeks of not hearing anything I called back and spoke to the service manager (June 19) and he said he would get it taken care of. I’m still waiting to hear back from him. I would not recommend this place.

Oil change and tire rotation

Worse Time since 2015. Arrived at 2:05pm for my Appointment at 2:30pm, after walking around I saw someone take off in my truck, went back to waiting room and around 4:25 I went to front and saw my truck in Bay. They didn't tell me my truck was really. The people in service department we're unfriendly and uncaring.

Ford Escape

Everything was good,,,, the sunshine was beautiful outside that was a plus !!! But the technician were very helpful and did there best to get things done as quickly as possible ..
