Chris was very accommodating as I was on my last few miles of oil life of my engine and needed an oil change right away, also I was fortunate they were able to fit me in for a 35,000 mile service checkup as it was raining that day and I needed wipers badly. Thank you Chris and West Herr for taking such good care of a returning customer. As Arnold Schwarzenegger says:”Ah’ll be back!”

So. Better read entire thing .. Had some serious problems with my truck. This was now the 4th time for the exact problem. So to start service was great. I delt with Chris (service advisor West herr dodge in Greece), he handled my aggravation awesomely. He also jumped right on looking into this problem. Ended up needing yet another transmission. (Not very pleasant experience owning a 2016 ram 2500 Cummins automatic..) long service story short, an new transmission was atleast 3 months out. I then got quite annoyed at the thought of being another 3 months without my truck. I asked for options and was taken to Andre and Andrew(salesmen for West herr dodge Greece) I spent most of my Saturday with Andre going over multiple options, they brought a used truck in from Syracuse for me to look at, beautifully presented. Exactly what I was looking for, however we just couldn't agree on a price. (I was obviously very on edge given I had zero intentions on buying a new truck but here I was...) So after many hours of looking at other options and other trucks somehow we stumbled upon west herr Ford of Greece had 2 bran new super duties. Exactly what I wanted. So we shifted gears and went next door. At this point Andrew took over as well as Rolland ( finance manager west herr Ford Greece). Andrew explained everything that was happening to Rolland and man let me tell you. The rest of the process was painless Andrew for being a new salesmen handled everything awesomely, Rolland was awesome as well, he managed to get my payment $50 less than the used truck with Ford incentives. I couldn't believe it. So needless to say all and all it was an awesome experience. These guys were all great. Gave top dollar for my truck even being broken. So to the reason for 3 stars. It is a hard decision. I may update this later to a higher rate later on. So you know now I agreed to a bran new truck. Upon delivery it was not very clean. The chrome tailpipe is rusty the chrome was covered in waterspots.. you would think spending that much money you would be comfortable eating off the truck. I would not. So they then wiped it down with a towel. Still not super satisfied but given they agreed to put a gooseneck hitch in the new truck it has to go back for that. I'm really hoping they address this problem then. Last little problem, I purchased the truck with a bed liner, they agreed to put in a gooseneck hitch at no charge to me, however they did not inform me untill after the purchase was complete that with said gooseneck I would loose my bed liner and be left with just the original standard steel bed.. so I asked for options and was told I could leave it as steel without a bed liner or I could pay $690 out of pocket for a spray in bed liner.... My personal opinion, I bought the truck with one they should make sure it keeps one.... Again. I may change my rating after my appointment depending on how it goes.... Sorry for such a long review. I hope it helps someone. All in all the people were awesome the quality was a little lax in my opinion.

Both Tony and West Herr have been an absolute joy to work with even in this climate of poor availability of vehicles. Tony worked hard to find the perfect vehicles for myself and my daughter, For this reason I will continue to purchase all of my future vehicles from West Herr and will always use Tony as my salesman even if I buy another brand of vehicle in the West Herr family.
