Kwan Choi, provided satisfied service! Right time length, friendly was extremely nice, responsive and helpful! From the first conversation he was upfront... and honest. We are a far distance from this dealership..Kansas.
Been having my 2015 Jetta Serviced by VW Lee's Summit since buying it about a year ago at another VW dealership. I have to say that Richard, Scott,... Dale and the rest of Service Staff are Top Notch in professionalism and have exceeded my expectations.
Service associate was very helpful. He saw that I was waiting on car and had my computer and offered me an empty office to use. He reviewed what would... be done and gave me a timeframe. The car was nicely washed and cleaned. I appreciated the video sent by the service technician.
Thank you Brent. We appreciate you.
William was very helpful and I passed inspection after having a few bulbs replaced. I would recommend this place. The staff is knowledgeable, professional,... and the setting is very comfortable.
Service was excellent and id recommends ti anyone. See you again next year and I hope to get another top notch quality customer experience. :D
I second what some other reviews here have suggested that Lee’s Summit VW are in the baiting suckers business not the fair car dealer business. I... had the salesman tell me that my offers would fly in financing more than once to be rung thru the ringer all day over $1k. These guys are expert con artists at its best IMHO. Stay away unless you want a sucker deal that is sweet only for them. You have been warned.
I recently purchased a car from Volkswagen of Lee's Summit. I wish I hadn't. I put less than 50 miles on a used 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman S... before I had to have it towed back to the dealership. After less than 24 hours of possessing the car, I looked under the hood after a notification that the engine was running hot. The car did not appear to have any engine oil or coolant. It appears that the water pump failed and the lack of coolant led to a blown head gasket--probably necessitating an engine repair. There are two explanations for this. First, Volkswagen of Lee's Summit did not properly inspect the car or perform due diligence to find out that the water pump was faulty before putting the car on the lot for sale and the head gasket blew after only a few miles of driving. The second possibility is that Volkswagen of Lee's Summit committed fraud by knowingly selling a car with a faulty water pump and head gasket. Neither is acceptable behavior for a business. Thankfully, I was within the three-day grace period that allowed for an exchange as provided in the purchase contract. I spoke with the sales manager about my options. My options were to replace the engine in the car I purchased with a "comparable" used engine or to select an alternative car on the lot as part of the exchange. Neither appealed to me. I was not satisfied with the terms of the proposed engine replacement. I considered accepting another car for an exchange, but I am not sure about the quality of automobiles offered by Volkswagen of Lee's Summit seeing that they sold me a car that essentially became worthless after being driven fewer than 50 miles. After some discussion, I also had the option of cutting the deal loose and retaking possession of my trade-in--but this is not an acceptable option. In my negotiations with the dealership, it did not appear that anyone seemed to recognize the fact that they sold a faulty automobile. Volkswagen of Lee's Summit was more interested in preserving some sort of profit on the deal rather than addressing the gravity of the situation. Eventually, I worked out a tentative deal to exchange the car for a similar model--but it is not the model that ultimately brought me into the dealership in the first place. I have not made a firm decision on whether to accept the deal at this time. I am still very concerned that any used car at Volkswagen of Lee's Summit will come with similar significant problems. I cannot recommend this dealership. I do not feel that it is a reputable or professionally-run organization.
They have the best service department and the friendliest people you have ever met. When my car was ready the young man came out and explained every... thing to me and wanted to know if I had any questions. The waiting room is very nice with a large TV.
I always love when I drive into the service area. They are all very professional and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable... and at home. Scott Craig went beyond the call of duty. Drove me to the ER at hospital near by and stayed with me until family arrived. Plus when I doubted my brakes were ok, he took time, out of his busy schedule, to actually show and explain to me there was no problem. They treat you like you are part of their family. I rate this service area as nothing but a 5 star.
Last year I bought 2 used cars from this dealership. This was during the “we pay all sales taxes on your purchase”. After I signed the paperwork,... they refused to pay the taxes on one of the vehicles. Additionally, they agreed to repair some hail dings; but refused after i signed paperwork. If not for this I would have given them all 5 stars. Failing to live up to their commitments is the most important factor.
I (Sheryl) have attempted to reach you by phone but have not been successful. I wanted to assist you with these The State of Missouri does not have d...ealers collect sales tax. In order for us to be able to give you a check for your sales tax it has to be something that qualifies with your lender. It appears that you were able to do so on one vehicle, but the other vehicle has no mention of it at all on the guest sheet or any paperwork in the deal jacket. It appears you DID receive additional discounts to offset the tax amount. Also, we have what we call a "We Owe" Form that is completed for any work that is required to be done to the vehicle after the purchase. I do not see where it was put on the form to be completed. There is also another form that you sign that is a my understanding, which states that everything is on the We Owe that was promised. I will be happy to discuss with you, you can reach me at 816.600.4224. Thank you
