The people: operator, service, driver, billing. Though I have not met any technicians, I am sure that their work ethics are the same great ones as the service personnel. The extras are great: coffee and car wash, and of course the courier service.. I truly appreciate not being up-sold, just repair what needs to be done and my request. Volvo and this dealership is one I trust.

Very excited...can't wait to get it.
Very excited...can't wait to get it Stress free, enjoyable experience. Roy Brunner was very informative & took the time to go over all the options. Roy was instrumental in helping us to figure out what was important to us to enable us to make a decision. And on the 2nd visit Wynne was able to find the model/engine (T6) in our preferred color with all the options we wanted. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can see it in person & drive it!

Not a fair business
Disappointed in Wynne Volvo of Virginia Beach. Test drove a used car on a Thursday night and the salesperson Pasquale was so kind and helpful. I noticed corrosion in the engine and pointed it out to which Pasquale said it was normal wear and tear. I asked if I could get it inspected but he said my Toyota dealership mechanic was too far away and there were too many other people who wanted to look at the car that he couldn?t let me take it for more than an hour. It?s a beautiful car and very clean. I decided to buy it on Monday and took it straight to my local Toyota dealership who has been working on my cars for over 5 years and they inspected it on Tuesday. My mechanic said the corrosion around my battery extended to the positive terminal and down to the main engine harness so it could need to be replaced and when the last tech changed my oil that he must have used the wrong tool to close it bc he cracked the housing which means the next time I get my oil changed (on Volvo of Virginia Beach's sticker on my windshield it says December which is alittle over a week from now) when my mechanic tries to remove the cap then the crack will separate and oil will leak. I called Pasquale and told him the battery corrosion would cost me $329 to replace the parts that are corroded and the oil housing would be $99. My dealership was willing to sell the parts to Volvo for them to make the repairs on my car. Pasquale said that was wear and tear and unless these issues made the vehicle dangerous to drive then they are not responsible for fixing these issues. And he said that he felt my mechanic was trying to upsell me especially since I?m trying to get a Toyota extended warranty. I called back to speak with the sales manager Manuel and was connected to Shawn Porter the financial consultant who was trying to sell me their warranty. Shawn also said that he felt Toyota was trying to upsell me their warranty so when I asked if these damages are covered by any warranty then he said No. So I asked how are they trying to sell me a warranty if these damages are not covered. Shawn proceeded to tell me how they already lost over $2,000 selling me the car at such a low price so they aren?t willing to put any more money into it. I called back to speak with Manuel and he told me to bring the car back in for his technicians to look at it. I asked him if I brought it back in, would they be willing to purchase the parts from a Toyota to repair these issues and he said he wanted his technicians to see the car first. I told him I was worried that if they did the last inspection that they wouldn?t be entirely honest therefore could I go to a different Wynne service department and have an unbiased inspection and Manuel said No. Bottom line: The salespeople are very friendly and seem helpful but at the end of the day they are salespeople looking out for their profits and not necessarily for their customers or their reputation as a fair business. I thought Wynne was reputable and would be more willing to make sure their customers are happy with their purchase. My recommendation is not to buy a used car from Wynne Volvo of Virginia Beach.

Service Issues
I have been coming to this dealership for 20+ years and have had 3 new Volvos in that time. I have never had any issues and have always been very satisfied with their service until recently. I just had my 67,500 service on my XC60. (I ALWAYS service my cars per the recommended schedule) On my drive home from the dealer, my "low tire pressure" light came on. I took the car back the next business day and was told all 4 tires were at 33 PSI when the paperwork stated all had been checked and filled to 36PSI. Oversight? Perhaps, BUT 3 days after my 60,000 mile service, my "low wiper fluid" light came on. That wasn't filled although all fluids are supposed to be topped off during servicing. Now I am wondering what other "things" are not being done during servicing that I have no way of knowing when the things that I can check aren't happening. Another item that bothered me about this last service was that I had my State Inspection done. When I got home, I noticed a chip in the windshield where the old sticker had been. This was not mentioned to me although this is something that needs to be taken care of and I would have expected them to let me know I needed to "keep an eye on it". Last item is not a deal breaker for me, but I was called and told my car was ready for pickup. I arrive 30 minutes later and told the car had not been washed and was asked if I'd like to wait. I say "no, not a big deal", but then FREE CAR WASH valued at $14.95 is listed on my invoice. I would rather be called when the car is ready OR not have the dealer say you get a a free car wash with service when you don't. This last service left me feeling like I got an oil change for $315 since I am not confident that the things that were supposed to have been infected were really checked. The clincher ~ Called and asked for the service manager. Not in, but spoke to the Sales Manager who listened to everything and said the Service Manager would call me. 5 days later, I am still waiting for a call. My last car buying experience at this dealer was excellent and Dale Mang was great!
