You should read this before purchasing a vehicle from Spokane Carmax. The vehicle we purchased was not in the shape advertised. It had massive amounts of body issues which they were not willing to fix. More importantly there were a number of options that were advertised and the vehicle did not have which we found out later. These included stating the car had 20+ inch wheels, Harmon Kardon system, parking assistant, among several others. When we found out we let them know and while they admitted the information they had provided was erroneous they were not willing to adjust the price to what the car was actually worth and refund some of what we had paid. Unfortunately we were heading on a vacation that was organized long ago two days after the purchase or we would have returned the vehicle. We have so far spent over $700 getting the car to be half the way the photos presented to us look like. The salesman was an informed individual which is a plus since I have seen many sales people that don’t have a clue what they are selling. Also, the vehicle we traded in was a plugin hybrid for which they gave us $4,000 less than the low KBB book while the car was in mint condition. That’s ok. We agreed to it since we did not have time to sell it ourselves. However, they are blatantly lying by advertising that car as a vehicle that could get $4,000 in government incentive for being a plugin hybrid. This is an outright lie. The only person that gets that incentive is the first owner and the dealership knows that. So they are using a false statement to get people in the door. Same thing they did to us. I am sorry our experience was not pleasant and this is literally the first time we have ever written a bad review for anyone but I would strongly encourage you to pass on this place. Hope this helps some people.

Satisfying experience
I have purchased two vehicles from Carmax I did not feel I was being taken advantage of. I received more for my trade in than expected. I have recommended them to friends and family.
