I bought a used Ridgeline a couple weeks ago and couldn't

I bought a used Ridgeline a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the vehicle and all the people I interacted with at the dealership. Justin Svetliik was my sales person. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and answered every question I had. Shortly after arriving and talking with Justin, the sales manager Josh Downing came over and introduced himself and welcomed me to the store. A nice touch. Mike in the F & I area doing the paperwork was fast and made it as painless as possible. Bottom line, I will be back to buy my wife a vehicle in the near future and I would encourage anyone needing a different ride to stop in and see how these guys can help. Note - my sales person Justin is not listed below but I would gvie him a 5 Star rating.

Above and Beyond

I just want to give a big shout out to the staff over at Honda of Jefferson City. I was looking at a used CR-V and I drove 3 hours to come see it. The car was exactly what I wanted. It had one owner and aside from som minor repairs was in immaculate condition. The repair team there had taken the time to make sure the car was up and running great. It needed a new fuel injector and they hadn’t received the part yet, so they were up front about it and saw to getting it fixed. There was a good size scratch on the front bumper and I asked if they could just touch it up with some make up paint. They told me that they didn’t like the way the make up paint looked after they had done that and so they did some really excellent paint matching. That took 2 days to finish touching up the car and so they went out of their way to make sure I got the car 3 hours away. The whole team there went above and beyond for me every step of the way. I’m especially grateful for Justin S! He was helpful, communicative, and he made sure that my experience was great. I got way more than I expected and I’m very appreciative. Thank you all.

Great service through saleswoman, Emma

Really appreciated saleswoman, Emma. She was no pressure, very personable, and easy to talk to. She was knowledgeable and focused on my likes/dislikes regarding a vehicle. As a woman myself, I prefer to deal with fellow women.

Unbelievable Staff and Service

Our salesman, Craig Bond, was so very helpful and with Mike Sullivan's financing expertise, they were able to help out two people in desperate need of a vehicle ASAP. The process wasn't easy for them but they were professional and made sure we got what we needed within the day. We can't recommend this dealer more. We will be back when we're buying again. Best salesman we have ever worked with LaRon Walle

Drove down and meet with a salesman LaRon Wallace one of the best we have ever worked with. Very informed on the vehicle. No pressure to buy from him but willing to show other vehicle car fax what ever we needed. We left there unsure if that was what we wanted. Do Not Buy there !

Do not buy here ! Purchased used car , assured it was inspected completely and safe to drive , brakes went out needed rotors and pads plus blinker electrical system immediately! No I didn’t purchase their 2500 dollar warranty for 30k miles . Very disappointed, don’t trust them .

Buyer Beware

Worst car buying experience ever and shady financing practices. They’re nice but after you make the sale they ghost you! When we sat down with the finance department they weren’t clear on anything so we walked out really not knowing what we were paying for. We spoke about how our previous vehicle loan was written and how Columbia Honda cut us a check for the taxes so we could transfer the title into our name with no problems and he told us don’t worry he’ll take care of it. So we took him at his word. Still waiting on them to take care of that. I haven’t been able to get anyone on the phone. Also they were so eager to make the sale they told us to take the car home and bring it back the next day with out the proper paperwork because the car was filthy and bring it back and they would get it detailed. So I did that and ugh, the car still had gook in between the seats and was still dirty. Also the weather mats that came with the car were gone. I had to go back and they didn’t give me the right ones back. Also I had to pay an extra 150 dollars to get it detailed right. Then 2nd day the vehicle wasn’t running correctly! Avoid the head ache and go somewhere els.

Even texted Levi the sales guy and no response. As a consumer and costumer I can only do so much. I’m trying to give them a chance to fix this but my patience is growing thin. Will give an update soon.

Well here is my disappointing response. Wish I could say something nice about the sales part of Jefferson City Honda. Steer clear of this dealership, go somewhere els if you plan to purchase a vehicle. Finally got a call back from management and of course no help at all. It took me writing a review about the issues I had with them for them to finally reach out to me. Just excuses. About the taxes since it wasn’t written into the loan like I asked them to do in the first place, they can’t do anything about it now. Like I said in my first review, it would have been a deal breaker if they said they couldn’t do it at that time. I would have happily gone somewhere else. They made it seem like I should Have written it in my self. What a joke. Bought the vehicle for 26,601 had a trade in of 4,500. Put a 1000.00 down. total being financed 33979.74 and now I also have to come up 2171.83 for title fees. He had the nerve to ask me other than that are you happy with your purchase? Worst car buying experience ever. The only good thing they have going for them is their repair shop. Sales needs to take some pointers from repair on customer service!

Horrible Communication and Dishonest Business practices.

Horrible Communication and Dishonest Business practices. Purchased a vehicle from this dealership on 8/8/22. Throughout the course of three months they have failed to provide quality consumer care. They do not return phone calls or voicemails, their staff is hard to reach in general. They sell vehicles off the lot before the require paperwork is filed in order for the consumer to pay sale tax and acquire plates. Timeline of events: 1.) 8/8/22- Purchased vehicle 2.) 9/12/22- Called Dealership to inquire about paperwork needed to pay sales tax for vehicle- left a voice mail with finance, NO callback. 3.) 9/13/22- Contacted Finance manager, Taylor. Informed me they were waiting for IDOD paperwork, and his title lady ́would keep in contact with me all week to give update on paperwork's whereabouts. I did not receive one single email or call from said title paperwork agent all week. 4.). 9/20/22 -Called Dealership again - Front Desk receptionist said no one was available. Left voicemail with salesman who sold vehicle to me. - NO response 5.) Reached out to dealership on 9/21/22 mid-day and spoke to Steve Rennells (Sales Manager) - informed him that if he didn't figure out what's going on, that we would pursue legal council. 6.) 9/21/22 evening- Steve phoned me, said that they needed ME to take this vehicle to get the IDOD inspection done because they could no longer perform it since car was in my care. So, they never had the proper paperwork done on the vehicle before they even sold me this car. -He overnighted me a check via UPS for the sales tax & $12.00 to cover the cost of the IDOD inspection. He also sent Dealership plates to put on my vehicle for the time being (currently still on my vehicle by the way). 7.) 9/22-took vehicle to receive IDOD inspection. Put paperwork and receipt of inspection in UPS overnight envelope provided by Dealership back in mail. 8.) 10/17- Calls Dealership to ask about paperwork, Steve states that the dealership is waiting to receive a dealer's title from Dept. of Motor & Transportation. 9.) 10/19/22- I called The Dept of Motor and Transportation, Spoke with a reprehensive named Matt. He informed me that the paperwork went out in the mail to the dealership on 10/17. 10). 11/9/22- Calls Dealership to inquire where paperwork is. Received Steve's voicemail, left voicemail. -No callback was received. I have already filed with the Missouri Generals Attorney's Office and will be contacting an attorney next week if Honda of Jefferson City doesn't make this right. This entire process has been a nightmare! Stay Clear! They are nice and attentive when you're buying the vehicle, but once they've made the sale they ghost you and give open ended answers to avoid personal liability. No dealership should be permitted to sell a vehicle to a consumer without first acquiring the necessary title documents in order for the vehicle to acquire plates and the sales taxes to be paid. Shady!
