Barnstorm Jeeps

I was first approached by Nick (he has a detailing business), very friendly and helpful. Brought me around to look at Jeeps. Met Scott, he was very enthusiastic with his inventory. Referred me to a Jeep I thought was out of reach. He did everything he could and helped me purchase this awesome Jeep. Anyone who is interested in a used car visit Barnstorm in Spencer.

Bought a jeep from Eric and it had some issues that he was unaware of and could have been very costly to repair. Both Eric and Scott were very helpful in helping me get into another jeep at Barnstorm for no cost with no mechanical issues after a thorough inspection. The jeep they swapped out and gave me was a great ride with some better features. I would highly recommend this dealership and owner and staff to do the right thing for a customer.

We drove to Barnstorm Jeeps to see a used car that had been advertised on the internet. When we got there, the salesman immediately told us that the advertised price is not the true price, because the true price includes an additional $1000 "deposit". He said "It's just the way we advertise". He told us that this fact was indicated in the ad, though he couldn't find it on the print-out we showed him (it was there - we found it later - but in very small print). This advertising strategy seems deceptive, in my opinion. Based on our own experience, the ads attract people based on the dollar figure in very large print, which turns out to be substantially lower than the true price as is explained only in very small print. What is the figure in large print even meant to be, if it's not the purchase price? We appreciate the salesman telling us about this policy as soon as we got to the dealership (though they could have mentioned it when we called ahead to inquire about the vehicle, and saved us a wasted trip). But the fact he routinely has to lead off with this clarification, as he said he does, shows how many customers must turn up with a false idea of the price of the vehicle they saw advertised online.
