we were sold a truck that has nothing but issues. the service department has had it longer then we have. After they completed some work, they told us were responsible for $480. when they didn't even tell us before that we would have to pay. if you want a lemon, go see them.

Was out working and check engine light came on stopped into dealership for advise to park truck or keep driving and make appointment, then I meet Okla Thornton the guy was amazing said he would plug into truck and advise, then went on and said if I had a little time he would get truck issues resolved. Okla and the other service advisor lady was very helpful and courteous. I will definitely be back and will bring my other vehicles to this dealership.. Thank you!!!

Warranty Work
Car overheated, rough, white smoke "blown head gasket" per my hometown mech, 1K miles away. "UnderWarranty" . Towed to Star, " look at it this week"." Y heater connector" 1,200 to fix, do this before checking heads. .Call come get "Car finished, heads are fine" Drive 1 hr to Star. Car runs terrible. smell of antifreeze under hood and Exhaust, alittle white smoke from exhaust. Different Star Mech. "Don't Drive." My Mech. Y is collateral damage ? warranty. Few days later told "heater core" ~1800 to change. Again 1hr to Star and checked per my home mech:: no signs of bad heater core, Found Leak heater core hose. Still runs terrible. Next day "will pressure test core". Couple days later"JUST CLAMP ON HEATER CORE's HOSE BAD" (REMEMBER). My local mech: BLOWN HEAD GASKET. Star: "no signs of blown gasket". Why running so bad ? Will recheck. Couple days later, "You have a blown head gasket" Spend ~3 mths "waiting for new heads" " Back ordered" When I get car back heads are OH'd/not new. (OH'd ok. But can get OH'd heads same day, my heads OH'ed 2 weeks) Asked what the 3 month delay was: NO ANSWER. . My mech:: mechanics are paid per book "hrs" and with small jobs they can earn 1.3 hrs per hr, On big jobs like this the mechanics only make 1 hr pay per hr work... "They're using you as FILLIN"...You are 1K miles away, what are you going to do? Next, Car apart and I get call from the service manager, Warranty has ok'd the repair and will pay for it. BUT since the car was up north there is Rust on some of the parts and it will take longer than the Warranty will allow so "Work STOPS". "Until you agree to 500 bucks above what warranty pays" Freg. Calls "almost done" "any day now" "tomorrow". Star did finally get Chrysler to pay for a rental car for the last few weeks. (Thank You for that). Rene told me that car would be ready Friday, then Monday Tuesday and so on. . "Please" no matter what get us the car back with time to test drive it prior to 5hr trip to Dallas. "Oh it will be perfect" and you'll have a week or two to check it out. Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow. The afternoon prior to leaving for Dallas my daughter gets a call. You have to return the rental by five pm and pick up the car tonight " What???" No choice or you will get stuck with rental car bill...... Despite this I was happy to get this done and wanted to "stay friends" as my daughter needed a new car, I ordered 10 Pizza's to be delivered from Big Springs Papa John's to Star.. The next day I cancelled the order. (below) Car makes it to Dallas, but has no antifreeze in the bottle.. Added~1gallon. Engine compartment wet, smell antifreeze, something squealing. Car to dealership in Dallas in am, a Saturday . No mechanics on duty, you have to leave car, not safe. Called Star, asked for "Service manager", Was told to get a car from Hertz, try to get at Stars rate . Turns out the leak was the SAME LEAK, the Same Clamp on the heater core discussed above .(They forgot), removed pressure test, . $120 to diagnose, $1 for Clamp, 400 for rental car... Dallas Chrysler says that the leak is fixed but 2 yr old alternator is squealing ? antifreeze on belt, or alternator or bearings going bad.. Could last YEARS or HOURS no way to tell. "Throw another 600 bucks at it. Can't chance my daughter breaking down again". (Never asked for reimbursement for the alternator, MY CHOICE to not take the chance) Dallas mechanic write up clearly marked ClAMP BROKEN not PROPERLY ATTACHED. Now months later I am told " No supervisor works on Saturday " " Dallas should have billed Chrysler"."Rene no longer works here" .Months later still no response.. My "Warrantied" Blown Head Gasket cost me ~ 400 thermostat, 200 tow 1400 for "cleaning parts" and labor replacing the Y, 600 to replace a 2 yr old alternator soaked in antifreeze (probably good, possibly not) 400 car rental 120 Dx a broken

Purchase of a brand newf 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sports
If you are in the market for Jeep, go some where else. I believe this is the worst dealership I have ever had deal with.
