BUYER BEWARE

I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, with only one previous owner, low mileage, and no accidents, from Car Corporation on August 31st, 2020 for nearly $14,000. The car had not yet been inspected, so I left that day without a car and it was delivered to me the following day, September 1st, 2020, after its inspection. Just two and a half months later (November 20th), and after only putting 900 miles on the car, the car broke down as I was driving it. I called my insurance company for roadside assistance and was able to get my car back home, which was only a couple of blocks away. Eventually, I had my car towed to Hyundai to see what the problem was. The techs at Hyundai said the engine failed due to no oil. Oil was puddled in under engine cover as well as covering the undercarriage of the vehicle. The tech had to add oil to check for a leak, and after starting the engine, oil was spraying from the filter area. The tech then removed the filter to check for double gasket and found the gasket on the filter was out of place. This defect existed at the time the car was brought to me on September 1st. I had no work done to the car in the short time that I had it. Used cars sold in Maryland that are less than 6 years old with less than 60,000 miles on them have an implied warranty, meaning the car is expected to function for a reasonable amount of time. I have reached out to this business countless times (via phone and email) to explain the issue and give them the opportunity to do the right thing, but they have not been responsive. This situation has been dragging on for awhile now and I need it resolved. Car Corporation sold me this used car and whoever they employed to change the oil filter did so incorrectly, which caused a lot of damage, so they're responsible. I have contacted the Attorney General and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I am also speaking with local attorneys. I recommend buying directly from a dealership (Hyundai, Chevrolet, etc.) that will stand behind their cars and happily resolve any issues that arise.

Purchased kia forte 2019 on December 9/2020 from C

The service was excellent. The agents were very professional and trustworthy. We were very happy and satisfied with services we received. I will definitely refer car Corp of MD to others.

Five star car dealership

If you’re looking for a car or truck go see them! Raquel did a fantastic job, best sales person ever. This company and Raquel have gone above and beyond to make our sale go as smoothly as possible. They have been accommodating and reliable. Any questions we had they answered immediately! Wish I could give them 10 stars!

Hands down best service

Hands down the best place I’ve every shopped out. Raquel and her staff helped me every step of the way. They were able to find the right vehicle for me, finance the deal, give me a fantastic warranty. What more could you ask for. After the process she followed up and made she my family and I were good to go. If you need a vehicle or help with the process check them out

over charge for dealer prep and paper work

i bought a new Honda and paid 299 for paper work and processing fee. You charge 500 for paper work and another 900 for processing fee. WHAT A JOKE!!!!

Terrible set of people

Dishonest set of people. Called numerous times days before and even on the day I had to go there to see an car, just to make sure the car was still available. Tell me why I got there, and they had sold it and they were lying to me the whole time. Just say the truth and let me know what other options u have, not playing me and getting me to come out there for no reason. I’m so upset. Had to call out of work because of lying adults with no decency whatsoever!

Best Experience Ever

From initial contact all the way through signing the final papers, Car Corporation was 1st class. I, like many, am not a huge fan of the car buying process however Alyssa and team made my recent process the best car buying process I have ever been through...Literally. The 'no pressure' attitude alone is well worth the visit! Thank you Steve and Alyssa!

Buyer Beware!!!

They never responded to my messages. Being an out of state buyer, I made all the preparation to buy a vehicle, including getting a cashier's check from the bank. I was told I would get a call in 10 minutes after I waited most of the week, and it never happened.

Exceptional Service

This being my first car I purchased myself, I was incredibly nervous about the entire process. I researched different dealerships and saw multiple different cars until I came to Car Corporation. The service and kindness by everyone involved was evident when I bought my car but it was the aftermath that showed how incredible this place is. When driving my car home, there was an issue that turned out to be incredibly minor (oil cap wasn't screwed on tight enough). Seeing the car have an issue so soon, I was obviously incredibly frustrated. I emailed Steve, the owner, that night and I received a phone call from him literally within an hour of sending the email. He apologized immensely and then I received a phone call from Bernadette, the salesperson helping me, also called me that night to apologize. Steve then showed the highest quality service I could've asked for. He had someone drive downtown to Baltimore City (where I work) to trade in the car and have it reevaluated, detailed, cleaned and did an oil change (again!) all complimentary. The car was returned to me before my shift ended. The travel alone had to have at least been 2 hours. On top of that, when my car was returned, a handwritten note was given to me, which included a very generous Visa gift card. As a first time car buyer, I couldn't have asked for better quality customer service. Steve and everyone at Car Corporation are incredibly kind and genuine and I couldn't speak more highly of my experience. Thank you guys again! If you have any hesitations about buying from here, do not- this place is wonderful.
