Don’t trust Brokers and Sellers’, their cars, or their ‘warranty.’ We purchased a 2018 Forester from them, with warranty, this summer. The body work was so-so, with an off-center rear hatch, running paint, and bad brakes. That’s the deal though, right, the cars have been in serious accidents, then ‘repaired.’ You pay less knowing you are receiving an inferior product. Still, when the A/C failed on my way home, I was surprised. No problem though, I’ll just use the warranty as they had instructed me to do, right? Right. The warranty people were fine, albeit very, very slow to get back to the garage each time. However, the warranty wasn’t going to cover nearly the cost of the repair, only 60% of it, leaving uncovered items like, refrigerant (on an A/C repair!). Further, they didn’t even fully cover a decent aftermarket compressor, for a car with only 54K miles. In total, now I’m out almost $700, as well as weeks of inconvenience. So, I email the address on the Brokers and Sellers business card, which comes back ‘undeliverable’. Then I left a message on the web portal. When I get hold of someone by phone, he’s golfing and “will call me back.” A few days later, I manage to talk to him, and it was a disaster. First, he’s very upset I called the warranty company, even though that’s what the salesperson had told me to do upon purchase. He never explains why, but I’m guessing he’s worried about their rates. Then he ‘hypothetically’ accuses me of breaking the A/C myself—wait, what now? Then he says, ‘Foresters are known to have A/C problems anyway.’ Well, then, why didn’t they take more care to check it? He says they don’t check anything on any of their cars, and bear no responsibility for anything. The just sell. Anyway, he says, why didn’t I bring it to them so the body shop could repair it, after all, they have “so many cheap parts, they can fix it cheap, no problem.” Umm, who wants “cheap parts”? And why trust the same shop? I’d be looking at another failure 1-2 years down the line, with a $1,500 repair job totally on me next time. No thank you. The conversation finale was the best part. He says, ‘If we give refunds for problems with our cars, we would go out of business.’ Very telling, I’d say. In other words, ‘we want profits from being in business, but we don’t want to accept the risk of loss that comes with being in business.’ In any case, he promised to contact the body shop and get back to me. That was a month ago. I asked only for the actual cost difference, not a penny for weeks of inconvenience and added expenses of being stuck without a vehicle. And they haven’t even the courtesy to return my call. The bottom line is, Brokers and Sellers has my money, so now they don’t care.

Didn't seem interested in getting a sale after i asked for photos from previous damage. The photo kink was sent but no follow-up with whoever sent it to me. I asked a question about another vehicle that was listed on marketplace but never got a response back. I think to save themselves frustration maybe they should post the accident photos alongside post accident listings.

Even though this is a frustrating and challenging time to buy a use car Brokers and Sellers made it easy to select the correct vehicle. By allowing the buyer to take the vehicle to a reliable mechanic to complete a diagnostic check and inspection was a great plus to me. Especially when you are dealing with rebuilt vehicles. The experience was pleasant towards the end and we were able to find what was needed through consistancy and corporation of the dealership.

Happy
We were looking at a variety of used vehicles and found nothing but very high prices on very high mileage cars. I was hesitant at first but as with everything....do the footwork. We were never followed, pushed or hounded, all the members of Zains team were helpful and up front about their vehicles, even so much as to steer me away from one I was looking at. I was allowed to take the vehicle to my mechanic and have him go over it which he did...and he told me to go do the deal. I showed him the pre-repair pics so he knew where to dig....i drove the car about an hour and put it thru a workout. One can NEVER be cautious enough so do your work. This is why sites like Carfax can be your friend. If you do a vin search you can see the Pre-repair damage, this is crucial for your mechanic. My experience: I feel secure with our 2017 GMC and would like to thank the Brokers and Sellers team for their refreshing attitude with all my questions.

Questionable Business Practices
Asked dealer some direct questions regarding the repairs of their advertised car for sale and have been completely ignored... I can only assume they have something to hide when it comes to what exactly was repaired on a car with a salvage title... Very questionable. Too many red flags. Not worth spending hard earned money here. Something fishy going on...
