Great experience!

Working with John Tristiano and Tim Regan was easy and straight forward. I told them what I want and how much I wanted to pay and they made it happen. Many dealerships advertise "top dollar for trade" but fairview actually delivers on this. I shopped all over the GTA and found John was the fairest out of any other dealership. They did not have the truck I wanted but located it and got it to the dealership within a day and had it ready for delivery a few days after. I will be back to fairview to buy my next truck. Thank you Tim Regan and John Tristiano Erik Bishop

They might drop you like a cheap date...

Great initial purchase experience for my used RAM eco diesel until I had to do my first oil change on the road in moncton, NB while towing my camper...$280!!! OMG! When I got home I contacted Ryan at fairview to see if we could negotiate a loyalty package, for example 4 oil changes for $500...but the crickets were chirping. I assume they don't want loyalty. So buyer beware...you may get a good price out the door, but be prepared to go it alone henceforth...sorry Ryan but all you had to do was callback or email or text and it would have been appreciated....you seemed to have time for me when we were negotiating the deal? I have since learned you can get Shell Rotella T6 and a comparable oil filter for about $70. While I have soft spot for dealer loyalty, it's pretty much gone for Fairview. FYI as a comparison, my other car is a toyota prius and they always wash the car when they do my oil change in <45 mins for $55. Lesson learned...

Terrific Sales Person, Great Dealership

Another terrific experience at this dealership! Second lease on a Grand Caravan. Thanks Leigh (and John T) for coordinating and pulling it together so quickly for us! An ideal vehicle for my family to get around in.

Surpassed expectations! Rob & Haley were incredible!

We needed a new car and were dreading the entire process as in the past, we've never had good customer service and were made to feel like the dealership we were dealing with was doing us a favour. All that has changed with our experience here. Rob Dubois went above and beyond to help us find the right car for our budget. He answered our questions, made inquiries on our behalf and stayed in touch with us through the whole process. He is friendly, thoroughly professional and went the distance to help us. We don't really want to deal with anyone else again because we trust him and truly feel he is looking out for our best interests. We've never bought a Dodge before but based on our experience so far, we will definitely return. Haley Regan in the finance department is also a gem. Financing a new car can be nerve wracking but this is definitely not the case with Haley She works extended hours and was available by phone and e-mail to answer questions and make sure the entire process ran smoothly. Everything was done quickly, with thorough explanations and detailed everything we need to know. She is kind, professional and helpful. We really feel like she had our best interests at heart, too and wasn't just trying to close a deal. If everyone at Fairview Chrysler Dodge is as dedicated, professional and thorough as Rob and Haley, I don't know why you would go anywhere else to buy your car. We have high expectations for customer service and usually are let down but not in this case - they surpassed our expectations and have really taken exceptional care of us in this whole process. I can't recommend them enough!

Leigh and John surpassed our expectations!

We found an awesome used truck at this dealership and Leigh and John answered all of our questions so that we knew we were making the right choice. We traded in our old vehicles to obtain a 2014 dodge ram that will suit our needs perfectly. Both Leigh and John made this an enjoyable experience and we would not hesitate to recommend either of them to any of our friends!

Exceptional experience ..

I feel bad for the late review, but it is worth giving .. On August of last year, I was in a terrible multi vehicle accident ... my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T, was deemed a right off .. in October the Insurance Company told me that I had to hand back the rental .. I found myself in a difficult position .. I contacted Fairview and dealt with Sonia Borges, I explained my situation and advised I was looking for a vehicle similar to the one I had.. Sonia went looking and came back with the fact that there were not many on the market and the prices were high .. after further discussion she explained that there was a special on the 2017 Grand Caravan GT and she did the math.. with the monthly payments and guarantee's I would be be in a better position to buy .. this is now a Friday and I needed to have a vehicle by Monday .. Sonia went out of her way to find me a 2017 with the options that I wanted ... Sonia was a life safer .. she found me the vehicle I wanted and for an excellent price.. the experience of being in an accident was not good at all, but I give Thanks for the Customer service, which was above and beyond to assist in my dilemma .. I suggest everyone looking for a vehicle to go down to Fairview Chrysler- Dodge, ask for Sonia Borges, I am confident that you will not be disappointed .. Thank you for everything Sonia, and everyone at Fairview Chrysler that made my purchase a truly great experience .... Carlos da Rocha

Two Cardinal Sins

I stopped by the dealership March 29 at around 7 pm. There were two sales associates chatting and as I approached, they immediately asked if they could help. I told them both that I was looking for a pickup truck. I was very up front and told them I that was probably 90% sold on a Ford already (I currently drive a 2011 F150), but before I spent $65k, I wanted to see what my other options were. I explained that I was looking for a very specific configuration. I want a 2018 4X2, full crew cab with the longer bed, leather buckets, more or less loaded. I understand that this truck is an unusual configuration and will need to be a factory order. I wanted to make sure that Ram would allow that configuration. The one salesman assured me that it could certainly be ordered. Unfortunately, it was the other salesman who ended up trying to help me. His name was Sheldon McDonell. We sat down and he immediately asked me for my name, number and email. I declined. This was my first time looking at Ram and I honestly didn't want to be hounded by a salesman. Then, he excused himself and disappeared without explanation. A full 5 minutes later he returned explaining that he could only access the quote system from another office, although he has a computer on his desk. At that point, he told me that the truck I wanted wasn't available at any dealer. I told him again that I wanted to do a factory order. He then told me that I should buy a 4X4. I asked him to explain to me why I should spend more money to get worse mileage, less payload, and less towing capacity with no benefit to me. His answer was that I wouldn't be losing any mileage if I bought the diesel. He also insulted my intelligence by saying, "You know you can turn off the 4X4, right?" Once I restated firmly that my configuration was not negotiable, he turned to the computer on his desk and began to configure a truck. Again, this was after telling me that his computer didn't have access to that program. As he worked on the computer, I looked through a brochure that had been on his desk. I told him that the "Sport" trim was probably what I was looking for. I don't like chrome. He then asked if I wanted Nav. I told him no. His response was "it's only $600". Again I told him no. I asked if Android Auto or Apple Car Play were available on the truck. If so, I see no need for Nav. He told me that they weren't available. I looked down at the brochure and found out easily that they are available. When I pointed that out to Sheldon, his response was, "well maybe they are available". At that point, I'd had enough and left. The salesman was guilty of two cardinal sins. 1. He didn't listen to the customer. I know exactly what I want. I'm not looking to be sold 4X4 I don't want, a diesel I don't want or Nav I don't want (even if it is only $600). 2. His product knowledge was zero. I hope you find this as inexcusable as I do. This isn't a brand new product. The 2018s have been available for months. He should know them inside and out. The final offshoot of this is that I really liked what I saw in the brochure. I looked on ramtruck.ca and found that the truck I want can be ordered and it is quite a bit less money that the F150 Lariat Sport that I am currently looking at. I will be visiting another Ram dealer to take a closer look at this truck. Unfortunately, my experience on the 29th means that I cannot deal with this dealership. What I experienced shows a complete lack of professionalism and a lack of staff training. There are good dealerships around. I'll deal with one of them going forward. I emailed all of these comments to John Tristaino, Sales Manager, before posting here and gave him the opportunity to respond. His response was quite simply to ask for another chance at a sale without addressing any of my specific concerns...Not good enough
