I just completed a perfect experience.

I just completed a perfect experience. I bought aa 2023 Clubman JCW online just from the pictures. Nick S. Was friendly and responsive. Paperwork by email was a breeze. Shipping to me 5 hours away was only $500! I had delivery to my home 7 days after I made payment and vehicle was inspected and registered with new plates. Delivery company was also excellent. Vehicle was just as advertised and a nice new oil change and professionally detailed. I would certainly buy another Mini Cooper from this dealer again!

This dealer uses bait and switch tactics to lure online

This dealer uses bait and switch tactics to lure online customers to purchase vehicles they otherwise couldn’t sale for the price they are asking. They put up an excellent pic of a car just like the ( not so good one) online and put the vin number from the not so good one on the sale add. Then when they ship it to you you’ve got the correct vin numbers but not the car in the picture. Nick Speranza was the sales person.

I was delivered a car on Friday, August 9, 2024.

I was delivered a car on Friday, August 9, 2024. When driving it I noticed a grinding sound when making a turn. I also noted that the sticker in the window said that it was near due for an oil change. Wednesday, August 14th - Mini Dealership: The technician called me down to the bay area before I could take a seat in the waiting area. When he opened the hood he noticed transmission fluid in the coolant fluid. A complete inspection of the vehicle was performed. No work was done. I was advised to immediately send the car back. In addition to screws being loose the gasket was blown + other noticeable mechanical issues. LOWER CONTROL ARMS WORN, INTERCOOLER DAMAGED, BLOWN HEADGASKET, OIL IN COOLANT SYSTEM When I told Austin, service manager at NY Autofind, he accused the MINI service center of of fraud and requested I go to a different shop. I went to an independant repair shop who advised the same. It has been 10 days since I received ths vehicle. It has been in the shop for 5 days. Austin has ceased correspondence and will not answer the phone. Upon the last call Austin refused to give me a manage or owner name and hung up on me. PLEASE save yourself and your wallet!!!!

I read the NY Attorney General's settlement against used

I read the NY Attorney General's settlement against used car dealers in the Bronx and Long Island where used car dealers used fraudulent sales tactics and practices to cheat New Yorkers and my experience is almost identical with the same practices described in those complaints. I purchased a "certified" used Mini Cooper from NY Auto Find on May 16, 2024 and took delivery of the car on June 8, 2024. I noticed that the car was bellowing blue and grey smoke. Before this I was told the car was in excellent condition, that it had been serviced by the dealer before shipment and was certitied like all their cars. I took the car to a Mini dealer and was told the turbocharger and exhaust pipe had to be replaced, that this issue was longstanding and with the amount of smoke from the car-impossible to miss. I was told that a condition of the purchase was that I buy a warranty for over $2,600. The warranty has an exlcusion for pre-existing conditions. I was never allowed to see the warranty before signing it. I only received the warranty copy on June 13, 2024. The whole process of buying the car starts online where you have to agree to the warranty before you get to the next page to even see the interest rate. I informed the salesman that the car was generating a lot of smoke from the exhaust-he told me that is totally normal and to drive it. He was just trying to get me to wait beyond 30 days. When I told the dealer by text message and then by formal letter what the Mini dealer found (repairs in excess of $7,000)-they told me that their service manager Austin Thomas would contact me. Austin said initially that they would pick up the car and fix it for a fraction of the costs. But then made a reference to my being a "%% year old woman" and said I would have to ship the car from Chicago to New York. I was defraufed and am now having to pay over $7000 in repairs but am sharing this in the hopes that it prevents someone else from going through what I am.

Literally threw away $14,500 with these con artists.

Literally threw away $14,500 with these con artists. I had TWO different minis that BOTH didn't make it to my 1000m, 30 day warranty without being inoperable. I had to have a car switched, then the new one had an electronic issue that they refused to get fixed for me. I'm a disabled veteran, I saved for 4 years from my military pension, they KNEW this....and the salesman Nick still conned me and sent me home on a 500 mile trip with a car that had bad struts, springs, door wouldn't open, timing chain issues to name a few..then when I got the next mini it took 3 weeks and it now just shuts off randomly and loses all power for a minute then pops back on. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. I wish to God I would've never got myself involved with this shady buisness. Regardless of what they're going to say below this review, everything I said is FACT. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. YOU WILL NOT BE IN GOOD HANDS AND NOT BE SOLD A SOLID, RELIABLE VEHICLE. I'm sick to my stomach knowing how absolutely greedy, dishonest and dishonorable people can truly be in this world. This company takes the cake. Don't just save for the vehicle that'll be broken down...save for your attorney fees when they decide they don't have to abide by NY state lemon laws. They will flat out lie to you about liability as well. Do not believe a word they say regarding laws or regulations. This is how they treat young disabled VETERANS who are also single fathers....just imagine what theyll do to you.
