Love my new car

We walked in james Chevrolet and needed a car. I told them the car i wanted and within 2 1/2 hours left in my brand new chevy spark! Jeff was amazing and we love our new car!!

STAY AWAY

STAY AWAY!!! THIS PLACE DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL I HAVE BEEN CALLING SINCE OCTOBER KEEP IN MIND I BOUGHT A CAR IN NOVEMBER 2018 AND I GOT RID OF IT BECAUSE NO ONE EVER RETURNS PHONE CALLS WE ARE IN JAN...IM STILL WAITING ON THAT PHONE CALL LARRY CANT DO HIS JOB AT ALL HE NEEDS TO STEP DOWN AND ALLOW SOMEONE WHO CAN! THEY ARE LIARS AND NOTHING MORE

I purchased A used 2014 chevy silverado truck,my contact dealer was Jeremy Ruther .he was very professional ,and a great host.we spent over 5 hours there and every one there was exceptional.when we left we went home with a new to me truck Great job everyone

completely disregarded the provided budget

I will not recommend this dealer to friends, family, or anyone in general. I was in an unfortunate situation that required me to look into getting a new vehicle earlier than planned. I showed up during one of their “big sales”; I informed them of my budget and said something along the lines of ‘don’t put me in a vehicle I can’t afford just say yes you have something for me, or no you can’t help me’. They insisted they had an option for me, let me ride the vehicle for the day, etc. When I return at the end of the day, they proceed to tell me I’d have to put down $2k more, and that my monthly payments would be $200+ higher than I said I wanted. They also offered me $1 for my trade. THEN when I said that wasn’t an option they showed me two other vehicles completely out of my budget. They also recommended I do a voluntary repossession of my trade vehicle since I owed so much on it ... It was a completely disgusting and unprofessional experience and an entire waste of my time. I couldn’t have been more disappointed seeing as I’d heard such good things about the dealer. They lost a potential customer and will not be getting any recommendations from me.

Great!

Had an easy time buying from here. Excellent service. Got what we wanted without feeling pressed to buy. Obviously pricey as it is a business who needs to make money as well - that should be expected from any car dealership; however, very willing to work on prices. Got a nice dependable car to last me much longer than the one we purchased from Fuccillo. They on the other hand scammed us - but thats not what this review is about.

Shady Business Practices

I would give negative stars if possible..... Funny how salesman see a woman come in by themselves and think they can pull one over on them (luckily she's an intelligent woman). How are you going to offer $13,000 on a trade and then try to sell a car that's worth maybe $18,000 for $27,000? So really you are only giving $4,000 for the trade, you think you're real slick don't you? Not this time!!! Better yet next offer was $13,000 for the trade and the bank wanted $10,000 down to finance a car that's only worth $18,000, that's funny, simple math, $18,000 - ($13,000 + $10,000) = $18,000 - $23,000 = $5,000 over the value of the car, so why would she be financing anything at all? Even with sales tax and a generous $500 for miscellaneous fees that's still only a total of $19,760 which STILL leaves over $3,000 over the total, so again what exactly would need to be financed? She should be walking out the door with NO payments with $13,000 for the trade and $10,000 down (not to mention she should be leaving in a "much nicer and newer vehicle"-James Chevrolet of Johnstown). Forget that, the fact that you're trying to doctor the price of the car you're selling to recoup the amount you're "offering" for the trade plus the fact that you're trying to sell a 4 year old car with 40,000 miles on it for $5,000 more than every other dealer is selling the BRAND NEW version with NO MILES on it guarantees we will never do business with you and will also guarantee everyone we know and everyone they know will never do business with you either. Very very BAD business James Chevrolet of Johnstown!

Horrible dealership

Do not waste your time stopping by this dealership. The mantra dealer for the petis a scam. They attempted to sell me a 2015 Dodge ram for about $6k above retail. Had me drive over an hour just to find out they liked about where we were in the buying process. Please don't waste your time
