Great Dealership
Great deal. Wonderful staff. I won’t shop anywhere else because they worked very hard for me. They even take care of me after the sale.

Be wary of a few things
Hidden doc fees, failed to check air pressure in tires as requested (tires were dangerously low when we stopped to check), car was hit in lot while we did paperwork and no one alerted us, tags were not transferred as requested. Called to address issues and no one has returned our call.

Crooks
Was looking at buying a truck from them it was a good advertised price, but due to the fact I wanted to finance it they added a 1000.00 to the price not to mention a bunch of other fees. I ask for break down of what I was agreeing to and finance guy got a attitude.

Truck needed a new engine-- They wanted us to buy
Short version, we bought a used truck and shortly after found out it needed a new engine. They claimed we needed to spend 5k more to put an engine in a truck we just got. We have proof it should not have been sold. Save yourself a headache. RUN!!!

Lied To
While in the car shopping process was contacted by a representative from ole Ben Franklin Alcoa. I told the representative exactly what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. This representative told me the deal could not be made. 30 minutes later the inventory manager contacted me. I again was very specific about what I wanted and what I was willing to pay as I didn’t want to drive 2 hours for nothing. This gentleman assured me he could make the deal and “wouldn’t not sell me a car over money”. The next day I scheduled to go and finalize the deal and the gentleman called me to ensure I was still coming. I again ask if he was certain he could make the deal and was assured he could. After driving 2 hours, the gentleman I had made the deal with was not at the dealership and I was told it was an impossible deal to make. The salesman tried to get me to look at other options or change my mind on price. I was offered no compensation for my time and not even an apology for being lied to. I would not recommend wasting your breath on this business. There morals are definitely not top notch.

Do NOT do business with Ben Franklin Alcoa
I tried to purchase a car through Ben Franklin at first, about a month ago. My wife and I went in, asked how much a car was, and the salesperson said something in the range of 28-29K..forgot the exact amount. Too much for us so we left. As we got to our car in the parking lot, a salesman came out and said, "I can go to 26K". We said we'll think about it. I went back a second time and the salesman assured me there was nothing wrong with the car I was considering, so I took it home and tested it with one of their employees. I found several things wrong with the car (gas gauge doesn't work, 7th cylinder lacks compression, doesn't shift at times, fuel supply issues, etc.)..nothing I can't fix. So I went in and offered a low price..they didn't take it, fair enough. I went in later and offered them 24K. They didn't take it, fair enough. Then I was willing to accept the offer the salesman gave me on our first visit, 26K. At that point, he lied and said he never offered 26K and the new price was between 28-29...can't remember b/c I was so mad at all the lies he had told me. He denied over and over that he told my wife and I 26K and tried to downplay his statement that "There is nothing wrong with this car." I know, I should have walked out on the first lie, but just a warning for anyone else who tries to do business here. They will not honor their word and they will lie about their cars.

Bait and switch
As per this and their website, they were offering a jeep for sale. After several phone calls and conversation about said jeep, the paper work was already drawn up and I was comming the following day to pick up vehicle. I had to wait for a ride there so would not be stranded trying to get two vehicles home. Upon getting there said vehicle is nowhere to be seen. Upon talking to them, they said the jeep was sold earlier that morning and bad communication and tried to show me other vehicles that were not what I was interested in and way over priced for their appearance. Not to mention body and paint work being done in a parking lot and not inside in a booth. The paper work was done and we had a deal, not to mention the vehicle was being detailed for me in front of her as we spoke on my way down there. 110 miles one way by the way. 30 minutes later, supposed vehicle wasnt even there to begin with. So testing theory here... friend called the following day inquiring about same vehicle, yes the same one... yes it is available come on down and take a look at it. Then said no I'm sorry its at our sister lot and we can get it here for you... well friend thinking fast on her feet said well I'm right down the road from your sister lot and called them again and said it wasnt there.... they said their mistake the vehicle was out on a test ride and it is here waiting for you to come look for her self while I was listening on speaker. Said vehicle does not in fact exist, not to mention their products are not the same ones they are advertising description and all. I would rather run through xxxx with a gas can then reccomend pliers, and incompetant individuals like this. I hate I had to put one star on here, they deserve to have their doors closed where they do not respect your time or you at all.

False Advertisement Price
Seen an Advertisement for a Volkswagen Jetta 2014 for $995. Called and was informed that was the correct price. Came down and was told by three reps that was incorrect. Showed them the ad and said they corrected. It is still listed as $995. I wouldn't trust anything they say unless you go down in person. No other incentives or apologies when drove all the way down from another city.
