After reading some of these reviews, I am writing on my experience as I don't think Cartersville GA Riverside is getting the credit they earned and deserve.... It was a very wet and rainy morning as I was driving through the dealerships in Cartersville GA looking for a new/used truck, went to all three on Main Street, then to the Ford dealership on Tennessee Street, driving up one row then back down the other, at no point did a sales representative come out into the pouring rain to greet me. I then drove through Riverside no sooner i had made my way down the first row in the back of the lot, a young lady walked out to my car and introduced herself as Christina and ask if I needed anything. I replied no thanks I am only window shopping. She said okay let me know if you have any questions. I eventually drove away as I didn't see anything that caught my eye not within my price range. The next day I went looking the dealerships in town, this time I had my son with me to help me pick something out. Again raining and cold outside we drove through all the lots, still nobody bothered to come outside in the rain to greet me, we even stopped the car and looked at the sticker prices on several trucks at many of the dealerships. One last stop, Riverside Buick, as I pulled into the lot he came Christina with her red little rain jacket on walking up to my car, she said hello again, is there something I could help you with. I then told her I was looking for a truck within a certain price range and had to be able to tow my camper. She immediately pointed out three trucks to look at and went to get the keys. We spoke on pricing and financing possibilities of the two trucks I liked the best, but due to financial reasons I couldn't get approved with my current situation or they wanted too much money as a down payment that I didnt have. So my son and I left the dealership. The next day Christina called me she said I have three different banks that I have been approved from for either of the vehicles and asked me if I wanted to come and test drive them. I told here I'd be right there. She went over the details with me once I arrived and we took both trucks for a test drive through town she continued to say "no pressure, I want to make sure you get the truck you want" after the test drive I picked the one I liked the best, we signed the paperwork and Christina had the truck cleaned and detailed for me. And I come back after lunch and drove off in my new truck. I know this post is long but I wanted to capture the commitment and the willingness Christina had to get me into a car that fit my financial situation, my needs, and my bank account. I must have drove past 100 other car salesman during those three days and due to the rain and the cold only Christina at Riverside wanted to come outside in the weather and help me, she was amazing throughout the entire process I would never look at another place to purchase a vehicle as I am sure I will be disappointed in their service after this experience with Riverside Buick GMC I have received. Thank you Christina, and thank you to the entire team at Riverside Buick GMC for making this a very comfortable and pleasant process what a wonderful job they all did to make this possible. Thank you Mark
Took 2017 GMC Sierra for air condition service. They fied a recall issues, then advised me that it would be 150.00 for antagonistic test plus two hour... labor fee total around 400.00 before AC was serviced. Drove from Woodstock called in advance to schedule appointment. was never advised of cost. They certainly grabbed recall charge from manufacture . Totally deceptive!! Beware!!
Bought a used car here. Was sold a 3 year “bumper to bumper” warranty l, despite my hesitation, was repeatedly assured that everything, other than regular... maintenance (brakes, oil changes, tires, etc) would be completely covered by this warranty. This was pushed by the “finance guy”, aka total lying slimeball. Also, after the purchase, as we were leaving, the sales guy, completely unsolicited, came over to us to thank us and tell us that we were entitled to the first two oil changes, and 1 detail, at no charge. At the first required oil change, I made an appointment, also describing a small issue we were having with the reverse lights. Naively believing what I had been told sbout the warranty purchased, even though no additional information was ever sent, and multiple calls to the dealership inquiring about the warranty, were never answered definitively, I took the car for the scheduled maintenance. Upon arrival, no one was able to recognize the warranty that they, the very same dealership had sold. After more than 30 minutes of being bounced around, I was finally told that “they would see what they could do”, but the salesman that made the promise of the first two oil changes being complimentary, was not available, and they were unable to fulfill his “promise”, and they said they had no phone number to contact him. (What employer in this planet doesn’t have phone numbers for their employees?) I don’t want to disparage the service reception personnel, as they were very nice. In the end, I was informed that the warranty only covered the drive train. The “bumper to bumper” bit was a complete lie by the “finance manager”, just as the “2 free oil changes and 1 detail” was a lie by the salesman. The latter was an unnecessary lie, since nothing was asked for or expected. The former lie by the “finance manager” was malicious and intentional, a total misrepresentation of what was being sold. At the end, I declined to pay the nearly $50 for the “free” oil change I was promised, and the dealership repaired the alleged “blown fuses” that caused the lighting problem. Bottom line - this dealership is stocked with bottom feeding liars. Don’t trust ANYTHING they say. Get EVERYTHING in writing, down to the last and most minute detail. This is the nightmare “used car dealer” we have all read about. Still existing, still stealing. Don’t do business with these low life’s.
We bought our car at Rome GA location. Go to Cartersville for service- more convenient. I scheduled oil change online for this past Saturday. Never received... confirmation via email/phone call. Turns out, location not open on weekend. 2 hour wait with appointment during week. Had to remind them to top off fluids & put sticker on windshield. Ridiculous. Otherwise, waiting area is nice. Stocked with drinks, snacks, comfortable seats & tv.
Great deals. Honest & upfront with you. Quick processing. Best experience I've ever had purchasing a new vehicle. Bought a truck and SUV in the last... 6 months from them. Destroyed the deal offered me at a Kennesaw Buick/GMC dealership. (No name mentioned)
Absolutely one of the best dealerships Ive been too. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back! Was in and out fast! Riverside Rocks
Well they sold me a truck and I am not easy they let me do my own thinking I am not very good at this
A great salesman / dealership! would recommend to anyone! It's nice to go into a dealership and not be pressured. I will not use another dealership from... now on, they had the best price out the door out of four dealerships I visited
Friendly professional service, live work buy local! Great truck local dealer for a local company keeping business local, David did a professional job... taking care of me
I want to start by saying what a great experience me and my wife Pam had Friday night at Riverside GMC in Cartersville. Not only was David very knowledgeable... but he wasn???t your typical pushy sales person. We went back the next day in daylight setting and purchased the GMC Yukon Denali. Great vehicle and great experience. Thank you David. Mark and Pam Sullins
