Do Not Service Your Vehicle at this dealership
The worst service I have ever experienced. Nothing but lies and deception. A 2 day job took 15 days and still had issues. I would sell my truck before I would return this dealership.

Unethical Scams!! Stay Clear and Go Elsewhere!
We went to Zeigler Automotive / Zeigler Buick GMC at 6900 N McCormick Blvd Lincolnwood, IL 60712 www.ZeiglerGMCBuick.com on 8-20-22 to purchase a vehicle. We spoke to the internet salesperson (Dominique Deleon) through email (signed by Ahvai Taylor) and on the phone. We confirmed availability and the price. The price was also listed on the internet. We then scheduled an appointment to come in, look at the vehicle, test drive it and discuss the terms. The salesperson we dealt with was Ray Jando. We liked the vehicle, a used 2019 Buick Envision., so we wanted to proceed and purchase it. Filled out a credit application and it came back as approved but for a ridiculously high payment amount. I asked to see a breakdown as the payment amount did not make any sense. The salesman (Ray Jando) brought back a breakdown and there was an additional $9k in “mandatory fees” added in. They were listed as “reconditioning” and “CPO”. The vehicle definitely wasn’t reconditioned as the interior was filthy and needed a detailing. Any dealership I’ve purchased from the the past always had the cars detailed and clean before delivery. The reconditioning listed on the breakdown was $4k. The vehicle was also not CPO. It mentioned it nowhere in the advertisement anywhere and the salesperson said that we could get it CPO if we wanted to for about $3k, but it wasn’t worth it because you can get an extended warranty with better coverage for less. The CPO cost listed on the breakdown was $5k. We told them that we were declining these extras and would purchase the vehicle as the listed and advertised price. We were then told that we couldn’t and were required to get the $9k in “add-ons”. The salesperson (Ray Jando) admitted that he knew the extra fees were BS, but there was nothing he could do about it. I then took the breakdown and wanted to take a picture of it and the salesperson (Ray Jando) ripped it out of my hands and folded it up and told me that I couldn’t do that. He then had the sales manager come out to talk to us. He was very rude and pompous. He told us that he had another offer on the vehicle, but we could place a bid on it and if the bid beat the other offer, we could have it. I told him I’d be willing to pay the listed price. He said it was impossible and that we had no choice but to pay the $9k in fees. He said he already started the CPO process and he couldn’t stop it, which was just more BS. We were getting up to walk out and he stopped us and said “let me see if I can do anything”. We waited a few minutes and he came back offering approximately $1500 off of the $9k “extra fee”. We said no thank you and just left. We wasted several hours on Saturday for no reason at all. It was an hour drive each way plus the 2 hours we wasted in the dealership. While we were sitting there getting screwed around, I text the internet manager (Dominique Deleon) that we had been talking to and setting the appointment with asking what is going on with all of this nonsense and she never replied at all. She replied several times up to the minute we got to the dealership no problem. I’ve never been so disgusted and disappointed with a car dealership in my life. To add insult to injury, about an hour after we left, TrueCar emailed me letting me know that the price of the car was just reduced by $367. Why in the world would that happen if they had other offers and deposits on the vehicle?? Just proved that the staff was just lying to us the entire time. I would never give that dealership or any of their other dealerships my money or recommendation at all. I’d highly recommended everyone stay away from them unless you want to get ripped off!! Just received another email today, 9-2-22 from TrueCar saying the car is still available and the price dropped another $321.

I contacted Buick and confirmed the car is not CPO and there is no “pending processing” like we were told. What a terrible unethical dealership!!

I’m not sure how you could possibly help at this point. The amount of disrespect and scamming your sales representative and MANAGER did is unacceptable and disappointing. If someone was willing to help on the day that I was there would have been nice.

We had the worst experience trying to buy a used car at Zeigler GMC in Lincolnwood on August 30, 2022! This dealership is deceitful and uses unethical practices when dealing with their customers. We were told the car we were interested in was at a certain price which we were willing to pay but when we went to make the deal they added $10,000.00 worth of service and anti-theft programs. When we declined, they told us they had another offer from an out-of-state buyer for the car and if we wanted this vehicle, we had to buy the extended services. Of course, we were not going to get sucked into this scam and that's when it got ugly. To sum it up, not only were their practices with us unethical but they were willing to sell the car out from under another customer that was interested in the vehicle. To add insult to injury, the next day they sent us an email stating that the car was going back to auction because it had serious mechanical problems even though the night before it was fine when we test drove it!!!This dealership should be renamed Swindler GMC. Beware! **I didn't want to even give them 1 star but I had to to proceed!*****

Thank you for your response but we made it perfectly clear to your sales manager our feeling about this transaction and that he had lost a return customer. I would never put our family through this unprofessional treatment again. We have sine removed all advertisements for Ziegler from our car and will no longer recommend your dealership to anyone who is looking for a vehicle..

Bait and switch BS.
I don't provide reviews all that often but when something is particularly spectacular or horrendous, it's worth the share to help others out. Unfortunately, it's the latter here. I saw they had a 2019 MDX in their inventory and I kept my eye on it for months as the car simply didnt sell. They had dropped the price by $1k every other week or so and eventually I saw the car was reduced to $33.5k. Since it better aligned with my price range, I made an inquiry to see if it was available and if I could put a deposit down to hold since I would be coming from out of town to purchase. i told them i was intent on seeing the vehicle the very next day and hoped they would accommodate my request to hold. They said company policy prevented them from being able to hold vehicles, even with a deposit, but that i should rest assured since they had no other inquiries or appointments booked for this vehicle. So my wife and I booked our flights and arranged child care to make the trip the very next morning. Only two hours later, after they closed for the evening, I showed the listing to my dad but noticed the price went up to $37k. I obviously couldn't call them to clarify the price change and worse, my flight departed early the next day prior to them opening. So I would have to clarify the price change only after I landed. It was a bit of a leap of faith but I really wish I had just canceled my flight. I was optimistic that surely they wouldn't pull a fast one because the person I originally spoke with confirmed the price of $33.5k verbally and said there was no one else interested. I landed at 10am, just an hour after they opened. They called me to confirm my appointment but i also asked about the price increase. They said they had to call me back about it. 10 minutes later a sales manager called just to confirm my suspicions. He said the price was now $37k because a local buyer was now interested in the car and was seeking to purchase the vehicle for $33.5k but also wanted to add their premium warranty package with maintenance service which then totaled to $37k. So If i wanted the vehicle, i would have to match that offer and buy the premium service package as well even though I didnt live in town to take advantage of it. If I couldnt match it, they would then have to wait to hear back on the other guy's offer which for some reason, would take a few days to determine, with him knowing full well I wasnt planning to be in Chicago for a few days. I was encouraged to act fast on this deal because I could secure it right away before the other guy figures out his financing, as if the sales manager was doing me a favor. Absolute, utter xxxxxxxx. A classic bait and switch. They wanted me to simply fold and take the deal since I made the long trip. I didnt. These deceitful practices warrant a serious investigation. Just entirely unethical and inconsiderate. What would they have said if I was willing to offer $100k for the car but that they would need to hold the car for me for a whole week while i figure out financing, and that they could only sell it someone else if they matched my offer? Their practices would require them to do so, but you know, they obviously wouldn't. I've bought a number of cars in my lifetime but this was by far the worst, almost laughable car buying experience.
