Vatland Jeep servicing issues!!

I have dealt with Vatland for 15 years. First with the Honda dealership in Vero for all servicing of 3 Honda Pilots and they were absolutely great! I then bought a new 2019 Grand Cherokee from Vatland and paid an additional $1K because I wanted to buy local and where I would have it serviced. Car salesman was wonderful, CAPTAIN gentleman. However, I am not at all comfortable with the service department at Vatland Jeep. Today I waited almost 3 full hours to change my oil and rotate tires. Also asked them to check my engine filter: engine filter needs to be replaced at 30K miles, I had 32K, regardless, but they said they looked clean. In other words they did not have the time to change them as they were so far behind. Guy said my timing was wrong, 6 cars came in just before me, then later said a lift was down, WHATEVER! NEVER APOLOGIZED!!!! I will be doing business elsewhere, had other issues but no time to explain. I used the Express Lane, can you believe it! I need to be comfortable with the service department for my vehicles. I pay $50K+ for them and am very diligent with servicing. Vatland for some reason has not figured out proper servicing for the Jeep/Ram, etc. even though they have been there for about 4 years now.


Great Customer Service

The service experience there is top of the line. A special shout out to Robyn who is a true pro and looks out for customer's needs.


Outrageous Repair Costs!

Paid $156.39 to hear my turn signal stem needed replacement and they wanted $592 more to do it: $190 for the part and $332 labor plus shop fee and 'other' fees. Parts store had part for $68. I saw the sterring wheel shroud had two screws and the signal stem/switch has two screws. I replaced the stem/switch, it snaps into place and put the shroud back on. This took me under 20 minutes and Vatland Jeep was going to charge me 3.5 hours of labor for their experienced techs! Shouldn't they be able to do this after than myself when I have zero experience? Shouldn't a Jeep dealership be able to get a part at a wholesale price way under what I pay retail? Why do they charge $190 when I pay $68 retail? This is the reason everyone gets the "ripped off" feeling when going to a dealership. Do you think I will buy a car from them????

Covid-19 - Lack of consideration

Simply unprofessional. I understand that our vehicle was on the lot for 2 months, and yes it was there before the corona virus was a major deal. But to notify us on March 27th... in the midst of this Crisis that you are backdating storage fees is simply unprofessional and shows you have no consideration for companies undergoing a tremendous amount of stress.

Repairs to my Jeep Grand Cherokee

My experience at Vatland Chrylser was very positive. My service rep - Brandon - was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Took the time to explain everything I needed to know. He is a big compliment to your company - very professional and also very friendly. So far no problems with repair done to car.
